Jenna watched with interest as Yami returned his Pokemon. He was using the Shelgon again? He must have been getting impatient with the battle. She did not mind either way. She had to admit, that Flamethrower was pretty impressive. Linda may not have been weak to fire attacks, but repeated use of strong attacks would take their toll. "Now use Withdraw." A little more defense would not hurt. Linda enjoyed using her Cosntrict. The Onix felt really hard! Then he was suddenly gone. She blinked in surprise to see a dragon in front of her. <Oh, I will,> she said. She always tried her hardest to give her opponents a good battle! The flames came towards her at a rate too fast for her to dodge, and she winced as the hit. Then she sucked in a sharp breath before withdrawing into her shell to raise her defense. Yami brushed a strand of black hair out of his eyes tucking it behind his right ear as he watched the battle play out. It seemed the shuckle had survived the incoming attack, just meant this fight would be more fun. He already had an idea in mind, it was time to combine Dragon Dance with Bite as a physical move it went off Shelgon's Attack and by boosting Shelgon's attack with dragon dance it would boost the strength of Bite significantly and as a Dark type move it wouldn't be haltered by the Shuckle's rock type like a move Headbutt would be , "Seiryuu Dragon Dance" commanded the Hoenn student. Seiryuu nodded his head and reached deep inside of himself pulling on his dragon powers allowing a crimson aura to burst forth from his body boosting his attack and speed, " Bite" came the next command. Seiryuu smirked as he charged forth towards the Shuckle, " <The fun begins!>" shouted the dragon type as he burst forth into action moving with surprising speed for such a bulky pokemon. He rushed in towards the shuckle jaws open wide as he lunged forth to bite the rock bug pokemon. Jenna was slightly impressed with the trainer's ingenuity. He was certainly thinking hard to come up with a good strategy to win. She was glad to have the opportunity to present him with a challenge he had to overcome. "Let's use Constrict, Linda." The attack would not do too much damage, but she wanted to see how longer her Pokemon could contain the dragon type. Linda was awed by the Shelgon's dragon dance. It looked pretty mystical and powerful to her. She wondered what it was supposed to do. Suddenly, he was coming straight at her. He was too fast and she was too slow for her to dodge. She resisted the urge to cry out as she felt teeth dig into her skin. She sucked in a sharp breath as she made her own move. She extended her limbs and attempted to wrap them around her opponent. Yami gave a small smirk as the shuckle was commanded to use constrict, perfect. The shuckle extended her limbs wrapping themselves around his Seiryuu after the bite had connected. Now it was time to unleash a direct attack. He already had an idea for the two moves he would command his seiryuu to use, and hopefully that would put an end to this battle so Jenna could bring out her third and final pokemon, "Start with Sunny day then finish it with flame thrower" commanded the Hoenn trainer. Seiryuu came to a halt as the limbs wrapped around his body making him pause. He turned to look at them giving them a bored look as he stood only inches from the shuckle. As soon as the first command was issued his body glowed as he released rays of sunlight from his bulky form out into the world, hoping that from being in such close proximity to the shuckle it would temporarily blind her from the bright lights. Once the room was illuminated he parted his lips to unleash a close range flame thrower empowered by the enhanced light. Linda cried out in surprise when a bright light blinded her. She instinctively pulled her limbs back into her body. It was too late to dodge, however. The fire attack sent her flying back near her trainer, where she lay fainted. "Thanks for the help, Linda," Jenna said as she returned her to her Pokeball. Then she nodded at Yami. He was proving to be a formidable opponent. However, he still had one more Pokemon to defeat before he could claim victory. "You're up, Timtom!" She released her Heracross, who looked ready to battle. "Use Horn Attack!" She wondered if the trainer would stick with his Shelgon. Timtom flexed his muscles before racing forward. He lowered his horn so that he could hit the dragon type with it. This was going to be fun! (OOC: Shelgon gained 3 levels right? 1 level for two levels or lower, 1 for automatic since it's a trainer battle and 1 for causing a faint? And 45 team points? 20 for defeating a trainer's pokemon and 25 with a pokemon from my teams region?) Seiryuu gave a mighty bellowing draconic roar as the shuckle was finally defeated. The Shelgon roared proudly his roar echoing through the arena as he felt himself grow even stronger, not long now and he would evolve, soon he would gain wings and finally achieve his dream of flight. The shell dragon pokemon turned to his next competitor as a Heracross emerged onto the field. The Dragon stomped the ground, "<Let the battle begin!>" cried Shelgon as the Heracros charged him with a horn attack. Seiryuu stood his ground forcing his feet into the ground as the horn attack collided sending him skidding back only a few inches. Seiryuu shook the attack of smirking beneath his shell. His trainer had long since folded his arms and turned his back to the battle giving a single command, "Fight" was the only words that came from the Hoenn student intending for his pokemon to fight alone. Seiryuu smirked, his trainer always did have confidence in his abilities. Time to bring out the big guns, " <Draco Meteor>" muttered the dragon the only warning he would give. Seiryuu concentrated bringing forth the energies of his ancestors. A golden aura burst forth from his body rising up into the air forming the shape of a giant sphere three times the size of the dragons body. The sphere launched up into the air where it split apart and rained down in the form of dozens of tiny golden meteor like projectiles. OOC: Sorry I forgot about that. It is two levels and 45 points. Jenna was surprised that Yami did not give a specific command. This was an unusual way to fight. She wondered if this was a sign of foolishness or that trainer and Pokemon were perfectly in sync. She would find out soon. She did not know which attack was being used until it was raining down on the gym. Draco Meteor? That was pretty impressive. "Alright, use Ariel Ace!"
Timtom jumped back after finishing his attack. He waited for a command from the other trainer, but he did not hear a name of an attack. He caught the Shelgon's words right before the move began. Surprised, he jumped around in an attempt to dodge the meteors. Unfortunately, he could not help getting struck. He struggled to his feet, determination flaring in his eyes. Then he ran forward with a speed that made him look like he was flying, his horn pointed at his opponent. Seiryuu kept a careful eye on the Heracross as the bug fighting pokemon was commanded to utilise his aerial ace, a move that would hit no matter what, a move that couldn't be dodged. He stood is ground preparing himself as the Heracross moved in. He stood fast as the flying blow connected sending him skidding back across the ground but he quickly gained his footing so he stood only a few feet away from the bug type. He parted his lips using the light from the enhanced sun in order to empower the single fire based move he knew. A stream of bight orange and yellow flames roared to life surging forth towards the Heracross, racing across the terrain in order to wash over the Heracross and try to wipe him out. Level: 36 Abilities: Rock Head, Sheer Force Attacks: Rage, Bite, Headbutt, Ember, Dragon Breathe, Dragon Dance TM Moves: Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Draco Meteor, Brick Break Stat Bonus: Attack + | Speed +

Jenna had to act quickly because she did not know what type of attack was coming up next. "Get yourself in the air to dodge!" She called out. This would not work for every type of attack, but it would be helpful for some. "Use the momentum for Horn Attack!" She might as well kill two birds with one stone. She waited patiently to see what would happen.
As soon as he finished his Ariel Ace, Timtom jumped up and then turned his body down so that his horn was touching the ground. He then pushed up off of the ground to get into the air, barely missing the Flamethrower attack. He knew next time he might not be so lucky. He came hurling towards the ground with his horn pointed down, intending to attack the Shelgon with it. Seiryuu watched on as the Heracross avoided his flame thrower dodging out of the way. He cut the stream of flames off and stomped the ground as the Heracross sprung forth towards him with his horn pointed towards the ground. A smirk formed on the dragons lips as a crimson aura burst forth from his body signalling the use of his dragon dance. He gave a might draconic roar as he charged forth speeding towards the the bug fighting type at high speed intending to slam into the pokemon and meet the Heracross's horn attack with his headbutt. Level: 36 Abilities: Rock Head, Sheer Force Attacks: Rage, Bite, Headbutt, Ember, Dragon Breathe, Dragon Dance TM Moves: Sunny Day, Flamethrower, Draco Meteor, Brick Break Stat Bonus: Attack ++ | Speed ++

The Heracross continued his attack as he sailed downward. He felt his horn hit the Shelgon, but the force of the Shelgon's own attack sent him flying backward. He fell to the ground and did not get up again.
Jenna watched sadly as her Pokemon was defeated. "Thanks for fighting hard, Timtom." she said as she took out his Pokeball. "Take a long rest now." Then she offered Yami a smile as she strode across the battlefield to meet him. "Congratulations. That was some great battling. This is proof that you have defeated me." She pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket and held it out to him. "Good luck on your next step." She was sure great things were in store for him. Species: Heracross Name: Timtom Gender: Male Level: 14 Attacks: Tackle, Leer, Horn Attack, Ariel Ace Abilities: Swarm, Guts, Moxie Hit By: Headbutt Used: Health: --- Seiryuu has gained two levels. Yami turned to face the battle field as the match game to an end his Shelgon having beaten the Heracross. He unfolded his arms taking a step forth towards the battle field as Jenna approached him congratulations him on his victory before pulling out a piece of paper saying it would be proof that he beat her. He accepted the paper and slid it into his kimono sleeve., " It was a pleasure battling you" he said before he turned to face his Shelgon who had approached him with a victorious smile. Yami reached out patting Seiryuu on the head, "Congratulations, It's time" spoke the dragon trainer as he reached into his pocket pulling out twelve rare candies and proceeded to unwrap them before tossing the lot towards the Dragon. Seiryuu jumped up swallowing all twelve tossed rare candies in a single go before chewing then swallowing. The moment he swallowed he felt a new rush of energy course through his body. He released a loud roar as his body began to glow signalling his change. His body began to change as he grew from a height of three feet seven inches to four feet eleven inches. The shell like bone structure around his body turned blue and red and began to shift as his limbs expanded in length growing out from the shell and turning blue each with three sharp claws. His shell like body shrank away becoming his underbelly as his neck expanded in length as horns grew out from the back of his head, large teeth growing in a forming mouth. A long tail grew from his spine flicking out into the air with a loud crack. Growing from his back was a pair of large wings. Standing in the Shelgons place was now a might Salamence. The winged dragon pokemon gave a mighty roar with such fierce strength that the entire building shook. Yami gave a small smirk, " Seiryuu come" barked the dragon trainer as he turned on his heels and left his new dragon following closely behind.
