OOC: Oh, wow, fail... Yes. Yes, they do. I will fix that... I just copied the info from a different Pokemon and forgot to change the level to level 1. Thanks for catching that. Where would I be without you? You always catch my silly mistakes/forgetfulness...

Zane grinned at the little Stantler that now sat in his lap. "Hi there," he said to him. "I'm Zane, your trainer. This is your new sister, Holly." The Turtwig smiled at the Stantler. "I think I'll call you 'Bucky.' We have class right now, but I can get you some food after." The Stantler seemed to smile at him, so he figured he was fine. The boy was too distracted by the baby to bother speaking up. Finally, though, he realized he was the last to give his introduction. "Oh, uh, I'm Zane. This is Holly and Bucky, who just hatched. I'm looking forward to Battling Techniques." He hoped this class did not take long. He had better things to do! OOC: lol Good job.

Mr. Winston turned his head when he heard someone else enter the room. That must be the missing student. He quickly changed the enrollment sheet while he listened to the student's antics. He certainly was unusual. He soon forgot about him as he listened to the introductions. The student who had just arrived certainly had something interesting to say. "Thank you, everyone. Now we are going to go over the syllabus." He handed out a piece of paper to each student. Then he quickly read through it ans answered questions. Finally, it was time for the fun part to begin.
"Now, today I am going to introduce you to philosophy by going through an example on how to think about all sides of a question. We are going to discuss Pokemon battles. We'll begin with the pro side. Can anyone tell me why they think Pokemon battles are beneficial to Pokemon and trainers?" Jinx had given him the idea for this topic. Most people took Pokemon battles for granted, though there were some people who were morally opposed to it. However, it was quite strange that it seemed to be a foreign concept to one student. The teacher hoped this discussion would prove to be enlightening for everyone involved.

"Well," Onatrux started "The easy ones are that it deepens the bond between human and Pokemon, and provides exercise for young pokemon."

Sawyer took a minute to think about the question. She was not used to thinking about questions like this. Wasn't it obvious that battles were beneficial? Then again, that one kid did not seem to get it. Had he grown up under a rock? Hmm... She decided to speak up after Onatrux and add to what he said. "Because it's fun?" she said. "It's rewarding for both sides. It's a show of strength and power... or beauty for those who like contest battles. We wouldn't work together if we did not think the arrangement was good for both of us, right?" Sure, Pokemon were captured by humans, but most obviously out-powered humans and could get away from them if they really wanted to.
