Looking for an Egg [Mod/private]

Onatrux had not been up to these caves since he had caught his Growlithe, Charles, but had heard that there was a next of rare Pokemon eggs to be found, and the allure of the possibility was to great to keep the wanna be gym leader away for long.

To find the egg, Onatrux needed to walk through tunnels that twisted and turned until he was deep in the cave. In the back of a dark tunnel, a young Bagon stood protecting a steel egg. The trainer would have to defeat the Pokemon to take home the egg.  Gender: Male Level: 10  Steel Egg Hatch: 14 Days |

Seeing the egg behind the Bagon, Onatrux got excited. Throwing out a pokeball, He had his Growlithe take the field to battle against the Bagon, and hopefully earn himself that egg. The Growlithe growled to try and scare off the Bagon. Failing that, Charles lunged at the dragon type and bit it, without being commanded to.

The Bagon did not flinch as the Growlithe tried to intimidate him. He had a job to do, and he was going to do it well. He did not dodge the attack, but he did prepare for a fight. He shook the Growlithe free and stood back. Then he raced forward in a mad frenzy to use Rage. Omatrux was surprised that the bagon had taken so little damage from Charles' Bite. "Charles! Evade!" He commanded, and the Growlithe complied, jumbing to the side to get behind the Bagon, Then Onatrux called out another order, "Charles! Use Leer, and follow that up with a Bite!" Again, the complied, Looking at the Bagon intensely, then running forward, dodging around it again, and biting it on it's tail.

The Bagon attempted to dodge this time, but it was hard to do so when he had to protect the egg. He grunted as he was bit again. He was able to shake the Growlithe off and jump back. He took a second to regain his bearings before leaping forward for a Bite attack himself. He was determined not to miss this time! "Charles! Use Ember, Hit it right in it's face!" Drake called out, and Charles took careful aim, And shot several red hot embers directly from it's mouth at Bagon's Face. It took the bite, but it had to be weakened from the Ember attack aimed at it's face.

The Bagon was pleased that he managed to do some damage. He was a god dragon after all! He had been assigned to this egg, and he was going to protect it. He braced himself as fire hit his face. It hurt a lot, but at least dragon types could endue fire better than others. When the attack ceased, he leered at the Growlithe and then ran towards him in a rage to attack. The growlithe closed it's eyes as the Bagon used Leer, negating most of it's effects, BUt when it Opened it's eyes, it was too late to evade the attack, which hit hard regardless of the leer being almost useless. Growlithe was thrown backwards from the attack, landing on it's feet and shaking his head. "Charles!? Are you okay?!" Came Onatrux's voice from behind him, and he assumed a battle stance, ready to continue. "Okay, It used Leer, so let's do the same, and follow it up with a Bite!" Onatrux called out, With Charles angry at getting hit so hard, the attack was aimed at the Bagon's face, To inflict some serious damage. The Bagon growled when he saw that the Growlithe closed his eyes. At least he got his Rage attack in. he tried to back away, but then he felt the dog Pokemon's jaws clamp around him. He gritted his teeth as he waited for his chance to strike back. As soon as the Growlithe was off of him, he moved in to use Bite as well. Onatrux was surprised at how quickly the Bagon's return attack came, but Charles was prepared, jumping backwards quickly to evade the entire attack. Hurrying forward again, He used Bite in an attempt to finish off this opponent. Onatrux knew he would have to work with Charles now, to get him to wait for commands, but right now he was focused on winning the egg.

The Bagon could tell that the battle was coming to an end. Rather than risk being defeated, he decided to risk leaving the egg open. He jumped to the right to dodge the Bite attack. Then, if the Growlithe was still in the battle, he would turn and attempt to use Rage, which would be powerful now because of all the damage he had taken. Onatrux was getting restless, and watching Charles take a big hit from Bagon didn't do anything to help this. He quickly called out to the Growlithe, "Charles, Return!" Holding up the pokeball for him, calling him back. "Bill! Finish this off!" Throwing a different pokeball, his Qwilfish appeared, ready for battle, and ready to win. Staring intensely at the Dragon type, Bill tried to Intimidate it, and lower its attacking ability before its command came from his trainer. "Finish this with Hydro Pump!"

The Bagon thought he was really going to win this. And then his opponent changed. He was too surprised to think of a quick counter-attack. Before he knew what was happened, he was thrown back by a jet of water. He stumbled onto the ground and fell unconscious. The egg was now alone and unguarded.
