| Like a fever I'll take you down The click of boot heels against a dirt and stone littered path was a minor sound compared to the cries of the occasional Pokemon wandering the depths of the greenery surrounding the path, it was a semi-warm and breezy mid-day that Yang had decided to explore around outside the academy just to get a feel for the places around and to see what Pokemon that her and her partner would encounter, climbing up a ledge of rocks and stones the tall blonde trainer and her purple monkey Pokemon had came to the entrance of a cave. There was an almost eerie sound at the mouth of the cave caused by the breeze, it sent shivers down the trainers spine for a brief moment before the blonde swallowed her nerves and ignored the knot building in the pit of her stomach. The brawler breathed a deep sigh and steeled herself as her gaze drifted down to the egg she held in her arms, she gave a small rub to the smooth surface of the object. The brute had received the egg from a trainer she had encountered along the way and hadn't had time to protest before the trainer had seemingly shoved the oval shaped egg into her arms before rushing off elsewhere. Yang directed a brief gaze to the Pokemon on her shoulder and headed inside. The two could use the training and some bonding time would more than likely do the two of them some good during this little experience, hopefully they wouldn't run into anything they wouldn't be able to handle, like a large scary Tyranitar or an Aggron. Maybe they'd run into a Pokemon that Yang was familiar with from her days of boxing with her father back home, but who knew what this cave would throw at them. "It looks like there are tunnels that split up ahead.. which one should we take, Hibari?" The flaxen haired girl asked the energetic monkey as it hopped down from her shoulder and looked around, his large round ears twitching as he listened out for anything from either tunnel "Aipom pom...<Hold on I'm listening for danger.>" Hibari waved his tail back and forth before the monkey pointed towards the left tunnel with the hand on his tail "Pom pom ai! <We should head that way!>" The monkey hopped up and down for his trainer to follow behind him as the two continued forward. __________________  Level: 5 Attacks: Scratch, Tail Whip, Sand Attack Egg Move: Double Slap Abilities: Pick up, Run Away, Skill Link Hit By: Used: Health: High Green |

There were certain Pokemon that one would expect living inside of a cave. The lava attracted fire types, but there were also many dragon types further into the cave. One common type of dragon was Noibat, and a group of them lived down the tunnel that the Aipom had just chosen. It was daytime, so they were still fast asleep. Almost all of them, at least. There was one rebel who thought it would be fun to explore the cave while her friends and family were snoozing. This Noibat was more innocent than she was daring, so she did not know what she was getting into as she flew forward.
She grew excited as she sensed movement up ahead, and she could tell they did not live in the cave. How exciting would it be to meet some outsiders! She quickened her pace so that she could greet them. Soon, she saw a trainer and her Pokemon. She had not seen many humans before, so she did not know that she should be afraid. <Hello, you two. How are you doing? Do you want to play?> She also did not know that humans could not understand her. She flapped her wings to keep herself in place. A minute later, however, she grew tired and landed on the ground, where she cocked her head and stared curiously at the visitors.  Gender: Female Level: 7 |

| Like a fever I'll take you down Lilac pools scanned the dark tunnels of the cave, the blonde catching sight of a few bat-like Pokemon hanging upside down from the ceiling before stopping as one of them approached her and her Aipom. Yang's lips twitched upwards into a smile, she had to admit the purple bat looked rather cute as it tried flapping it's wings to keep hovering in place for awhile before tuckering itself out and lowering towards the floor, making squeaking noises as it tried to talk to the trainer, not knowing that the blonde couldn't understand how Pokemon talk, she nodded towards the monkey Pokemon balancing on his tail as he clapped his hands happily in an excited manner "<Hey there! We're doing fine, just exploring a bit and probably trying to make new friends. We'd be happy to play with you!> Hibari cooed as he clapped and lowered on his tail-hand before bouncing upwards and doing a back flip, landing perfectly balanced against the ground with his signature grin. Yang shifted her hold on the egg so she could raise one of her hands and wave at the bat-like Pokemon "Hello, little bat, there's no need to be scared of me, I'm as friendly as they come. I don't mean any harm to Pokemon in fact, I treat them very much like I would friends." The brute stated with a look of confidence plastered to her features, the oval shaped egg beginning to shake and crack in her arms, she placed the hatching egg down against the floor and kneeled down, wondering what would come from the egg. Her Aipom turned around and blinked, scurrying towards the egg and motioning for the Noibat to come and see too, the duo watched the egg rattle wildly.

The egg began to glow brightly as shards of egg flew off into the air as it began to hatch. A heat began to radiate from the egg that created a bright light from the egg that illuminated the darkness of the lava caves. Fire burst forth from the egg as a pokemon was born. A pair of cute button eyes opened up as the pokemon gave a cute adorable yawn. It turned towards the blonde trainer looking at her, <Cy..cy...Cynda (Mu...mu..Mumma)>" cried the pokemon as the last of the egg shards fell revealing a tiny male Cyndaquil. The fire mouse like pokemon yawned again, "CYNDA!" cried the baby pokemon as fire burst forth from his back warming up his tiny body before he leapt forth into the blonde's arms his flames dying down as he nuzzled into Yang's warmth. The female Noibat looked at the young girl blinking cutely as she titled her head to the side before flapping her wings as a new pokemon came into existence. The sudden flames startled her as she flew back into the air towards the ceiling, the sudden burst of light blinding hair, "<NOI (AAAH)!>" she cried her eyes shut tight as her lips parted. She unleashed a deafening screech that echoed through the caves bouncing off the walls as it sailed forth towards the Aipom and his trainer. | Like a fever I'll take you down Yang shielded her eyes as a bright light illuminated the caves followed by the warmth of a fire, it took a few moments for her to get used to the light as it slowly died down to a bearable amount of light, slowly the blonde lowered her hands from her eyes in time to watch the bright light take form as a new Pokemon was born into the world, one that she had heard about in childhood stories and picture books held close to her heart as she found her lavender orbs staring down as the light dissipated and became a dark blue and cream color and then she heard the newborn yawn, twice in fact and couldn't help the giggle that managed it's way from her mouth, blinking as the newly born Cyndaquil sprang into her arms and nuzzled himself against her warmth, lavender hues softened as she embraced the tiny fire mouse "Hi there...little guy." The flaxen brawler cooed softly in a mother-like manner, a gentle smile curling the corners of her lips as she pondered for a brief moment, finally deciding upon what she would name the newly born fire-type "How about I call you Ragna?". The Cyndaquil tilted his head upright to look up at his trainer and blinked a few times as he registered what the blonde was saying before squealing happily and nodding at the choice of name "Cyn..da? ...Cyn cynda <Rag..na? ..I like it.>" He snuggled himself back against Yang's frame happily. However the heartwarming scene was cut short as the Noibat sent a screech barreling down the walls of the cave towards Yang and her Pokemon. Hibari shielded his ears from the glass shattering noise, Yang however chose to shield the newborn's ears instead of her own, gritting her teeth as she endured the torturous noise "Ai! pom pom! <Hey easy there! It was just an egg hatching! calm down please!>" Hibari pleaded as loud as he could over the noise the Noibat was making, hoping to at least coax the bat-like Pokemon to calm down.

The Noibat watched the three from above the sudden appearance of a new pokemon having sent her into a sort of a frenzy having lost all sense and been drawn into her primal instincts out of fear from the sudden light. The dragon type screeched loudly as she flapped her wings. She flew up into the air flying up higher to gain a little distance from them. She opened her lips releasing a super sonic screech that shot forth towards the Aipom, the screech designed to disorientate and confuse the targeted pokemon. | Like a fever I'll take you down Yang slowly uncovered the Cyndaquil's ears as the screeching seemed to die down for a moment as the dragon-type bat drew further back from the three "Aipom ai pom ai aipom. <Looks like I'll have to bring you back to your senses the hard way.>" Hibari nodded towards Yang as he hopped up and down on his tail, the blonde trainer gave a small nod as she placed down the newly born fire mouse gently then rose to her feet, the fire mouse began clinging to one of Yang's boots, if he was near his trainer it was where he felt safest "Alright, Hibari cover your ears then use a Sand Attack and follow it up with a Double Slap." She commanded, which the purple normal-type nodded and proceeded to cover his ears as best as he could in an attempt to block out the screeching sound, his tail-hand scooping up some of the dirt from the ground before hopping and throwing the sand towards the Noibat in hopes of blinding it and lowering it's accuracy, before grabbing onto a near by stalactite hanging from the roof of the cave with his tail and swinging himself towards the Noibat, using the momentum to perform his Double Slap attack allowing his Skill Link ability to activate, however this lead for the Aipom to lower his hands from his ears to concentrate on his actions. Noibat screeched as the sand flew up hitting her between the eyes. She flapped her wings frantically trying to rub the sand out but it only caused her eyes to burn, tears streaming down her cheeks as she tried to shake it off having lost focus on what was going on only to come back to the current battle as a hand made contact with her body. She screeched as four more blows followed sending her crashing into the ground with a loud thud. Noibat flapped her wings picking up dust as she rose to her feet finally having wiped the sand, or what she could out of her eyes. She turned to glare towards the Aipom and opened her mouth unleashing a deadly screech attack. Her screech echoed through the caves causing the walls to crack as it sailed forth, she was going to use the screech to lower Aipom's attack. Noibat flapped her wings gaining height where she then dove down towards the Aipom going in for a low fly tackle attack deciding to get up close and personally hoping she could do a little damage. | Like a fever I'll take you down The Aipom gave a cocky grin as his attack seemed to succeed in lowering the bat's accuracy as it crashed to the ground after a barrage of slaps, the normal type monkey managed to land safely on his feet from his earlier assault but before he could turn around to face his opponent again, the dragon let out a piercing screech causing Hibari to cover his largely rounded ears once again, the dreaded feeling of his strength wavering pinged within his body for a brief moment before he was thrown to the ground by the foe suddenly tackling him with his guard being down. However the monkey wasn't one to give up after just being hit once, he was far too healthy for that, springing back up using his tail-hand after laying on the ground for a moment, the Monkey's fur slightly disheveled as he got up - His cheeky smile still sitting on his features. "Alright, good job so far, Hibari. Let's try attacking again this time, Tail Whip the follow up with another round of Double slaps!" Yang called out seeing her Pokemon do well during their first battle together had set a fire going within the brawler, sure she was confident in her ability but she still needed to experience it first hand and try different things before she could say she was truly a Pokemon trainer, her gaze wandered to her Cyndaquil for a brief moment and a smile settled across her lips, she knew she was going to follow in her father's footsteps, however maybe she'd surpass him one day. Hibari had already set Yang's orders into action, jumping back to put some distance between him and the female Noibat, he hopped and spun around so his back was facing her, swaying his tail in a cute manner in hopes to lower the others guard further before launching himself towards the dragon type and swatting at the small purple bat with his tail once more in attempts to hit her, Once again his Skill Link ability would activate if he was able to land a hit. The Noibat grinned to herself as she floated in the air flapping her wings every now and then to keep herself steady in the air. Her screech attack had done well to distract her foe by hurting it's ears allowing her to take advantage of this to land a solid tackle attack. She watched as the Aipom sprung back up using his strange tail like hand. She turned her focus to the trainer as she gave the commands again. Noibat screeched as the Aipom swayed his tail in some cutesy manner as if trying to appease her and it worked slightly. She scowled as the Aipom moved in again hitting her with his tail again landing multiple slaps, this double slap of his was getting on her nerves. She flew back to gain some more distance between them, she would try and stay far away as possible from the Aipom until she needed to. She parted her lips releasing another super sonic screech that echoed forth tearing apart the cave using her screech to distract her foe while she swooped in with another tackle. Whether or not she collided she would quickly fly up and away for safety. » Once again the monkey wore a smugly confident smile as his attack managed to find it's mark on the bat however his sense of accomplishment was cut short as the bat let out another blood curdling cry of bloody murder that ricochet along the walls of the cave causing the ground and the walls to crack as it made contact and eventually made it's way to it's intended target, once again the feeling of drained strength was apparent within the Aipom's tiny body then the normal type was thrown to the ground once again by his opponent's tackle, this time the purple acrobatic monkey didn't get up immediately, he laid there for a moment before adjusting his body upright in a sitting up motion, his body becoming covered in apparent scrapes from bashing and skidding along the hard ground of the cave. He rubbed the back of his head with one of his stubby hands and let out a sheepish laugh that could only be described as a 'Ohuhuhu' kind of noise, he was obviously having fun with the bat and found the female to be a worthy foe while letting her primal instincts take over ❝ Aipom pom ai. <Not a bad tackle there, I like you're persistence.>❞
Hibari slowly rose to his feet with what looked like some difficulty and bounced from one foot to the other eagerly ❝Aipom aipo pom pom <Well then it looks like we're both almost tired.>❞ He cooed as his smile remained present. Yang began chewing her lip and took a moment as she watched the Aipom rise to his feet after saying a few things to the Noibat before shaking out of her thoughts to concentrate once more ❝Sand attack again and Scratch this time, let's go~!❞ The brawler called out, the monkey nodded being happy to oblige as he gathered up some of the dirt from the floor once more and rushed to move in once more as the bat flew upwards after landing the attack, using his balled up hand shaped tail to vault himself upwards and unleash the dirt from his grasp as his tail swung in a throwing manner, attempting to blind the purple dragon type again before scratching at the bat with his stubby appendages.

Noibat screeched loudly as she glided near the roof of the cave, small bits of debris falling down around her. The continuous use of screech attacks had caused the walls to crack and slowly become unstable if she used another she would most likely bring this area of the cave down around them so she would have to resist using her screech attack again. She cried out as a rush of sand was launched forth towards her striking her in her eyes blinding her again. She screeched as she flew about wildly unable to see what was going on. She was frightened by being blinded again causing her to fly into one of the caves walls causing her to crash to the ground leaving her open for the next double slap attack to strike her. She flew back through the air crashing into a boulder with such force it shattered. She collapsed to the ground unmoving having finally fainted, no longer possessing the strength to fight any more. Level: 7 Attacks: Screech, Tackle, Super Sonic, leech Life Abilities: Frisk, Infiltrator, Telepathy Debuff: Accuracy -, Defence - Hit By: Sand attack,Double Hit Used: Health : ---Earned 40 points for team Johto

» Hibari had managed to make the Noibat faint finally after what seemed like quite a struggle between the two, the monkey landed safely on his cream colored feet and grinned triumphantly, forming his signature 'V' sign with the three digits of his hand-tail however when his attention returned to the Noibat a small pang of sympathy ran through his body, he scurried on all fours towards the dragon type and turned his head towards Yang, he didn't want to leave the poor purple bat just laying there and the golden haired trainer nodded in understanding as she reached for a Pokeball that sat securely on her belt ❝Okay, Noibat can come with us.❞ and with that being said she moved towards the two Pokemon after bending down and scooping up the baby fire type into her arms.
Once she reached the monkey and the bat, Yang tossed the Pokeball towards the Noibat, watching as the red and white spherical object bounced off of the Pokemon, opening up and absorbing the fainted creature in a flash of red light before snapping shut, falling onto the floor and beginning to shake, three times being the amount the ball would shake if the Pokemon submitted and wished to adventure with the trainer and her other Pokemon.

(OOC: Just thought I'd let ya know, the font your using is kind of hard to read) The pokeball rocked back and forth as the Noibat inside struggled, even though she barely had any strength she struggled to break free. The ball shook back and forth, back and forth until the Noibat finally stropped struggling and the balls shaking came to an end. The ball released a loud ping like noise that echoed through the cave. Congratulations you caught a Noibat

» Once the Pokeball clicked and echoed through the cave, Yang bent over and picked up the spherical object containing the dragon type Bat with a smile, shrinking the ball before placing it on a clip against her belt then turning her attention towards her two Pokemon ❝Hey guys, should we continue up ahead and see what else we run into?❞ The flaxen haired teen asked quizzically, she certainly felt eager to explore as long as her Pokemon were not too tired to do so.
Hibari looked at the tall female and dusted himself off, hopping up and down on his tail-hand before dashing off ahead of his trainer, Yang blinked for a moment before following the purple and cream colored monkey further into the caves, eager to know what they would find next, Yang placed Ragna down onto the floor before commanding the tiny fire mouse to ignite the fire on his back for light.
Ragna happily obliged and let out a cry as the fire sparked to life along the fire types back as he waddled infront of Yang and behind Hibari as the caves grew darker the further the trio went in down the tunnels.
