Rika was hyped - this was her first time in the Virtual Training Machine's area.She quickly sent out her pokemon, TenTen the Piplup.  Species: Piplup Type: Water Name: TenTen Gender: Female Level: 5 Attacks: Pound, Growl Egg Move: Feather Dance Abilities: Torrent, Defiant Nature: Quiet "Let's try this TenTen!"
TenTen looked like she couldn't care less, but went along with it anyway. After all, Rika was her trainer and she trusted her.
Rika hooked TenTen up to the machine and put the headset over her own eyes. "WOW! I wonder if this is the same tech they use for the Pokeathalon?!"

The simulator came to life lights turning on as the machine went to work. The machine that controlled the room came to life flicking through its scenarios as a beam of light shot down from the cieling hitting the Piplup scanning it's body picking up it's element type, with that it began to select the pokemon type to go up against the water pokemon. The metal walls and floor vanished being replaced by rocky fields, high mountains and a sky full of black clouds. Electricity danced between the clouds as lightning rained down onto the field creating static. Little tiny blocks of light shot forth around the two before flowing forward ten metres where they came together in the form of a pichu of all pokemon. The tiny electrical mouse looked towards its opponents electricity sparking on its adorable cheeks as it readied itself for battle. "Oh man. An electric type on out first try. Well, better give this a try." TenTen gets into a ready position in preparation to fight. "Feather Dance, then, Pound!"TenTen attempts to surround the Pichu with it's feathers and then launches into a pound attack directed at the pichu. The Wild Pichu pounded around on her tiny feet as the trainer and her pokemon readied themselves for battle. Pichu shut her eyes tight electricity sparking from the little pouches on her cheek, feathers beginning to surround her form lowering her attack but she ignored this allowing the electricity to build up in her pouches. She cried out as the pound struck her sending her flying backwards electricity flowing out in the air, her static have a 30% chance of paralysing her foe from the direct content. Pichu bounced onto her feet electricity sparking from her cheeks, 'PICHU!" she cried as she unleashed a blast of electricity that raced forth to electrocute her target. Species: Pichu Gender: Female Level: 5 Attacks: Charm, Tail Whip, Thunder Shock Abilities: Static, LightningRod

"SHOOT! TenTen, Doge!"
TenTen manages to dodge the thundershock, but is feeling the effects of paralysis. She's slowed down and is having a hard time moving. Rika was getting nervous. Her first battle - And she might lose it! She had to think quickly, before it was too late! Then she remembered - TenTen had Defiant! "Pound again!"
TenTen, though slow, was rushing at the Pichu again, it's beak pointed straight at it. It's power boosted thanks to Defiant. Species: Piplup Type: Water Name: TenTen Gender: Female Level: 5 Attacks: Pound, Growl, Feather Dance Status: Paralyzed Buff: + Atk Hit By: Static Used: Dodge, Pound Health: High Green

(OOC: Defiant only works when you have your stats lowered by an opponent. Being Paralysed does not lower stats. Also you can only be in one mod topic at the time, you will need to delete your lava cave thread) Pichu shook it's self off as the pound connected again having sent the tiny electric mouse flying backwards. Pichu stood up glaring at the piplup as electricity sparked from her tiny body slowly building up as electricity sparked all around her encasing her form. Lightning spread across the sky as thunder boomed in the distance. Pichu gave a might cry as she released her stored up electricity unleashing a blast of electricity that thundered forth towards Piplup.

(OOC: My bad, sorry) "TENTEN!" TenTen is zapped by the thundershock, taking plenty of damage due to the type matchup. Rika bit her lip. She didn't want to lose, but she didn't want to hurt TenTen either. She glanced at TenTen and, seeing the determined look on it's face, decides to go on. "Alrighty then. TenTen! Feather Dance and Pound, One more time!"
TenTen rushes at the Pichu again but, this time, despite the paralysis, uses feather dance to get behind it, launching itself off the wall towards the Pichu. Species: Piplup Type: Water Name: TenTen Gender: Female Level: 5 Attacks: Pound, Growl, Feather Dance Abilities: Torrent, Defiant Status: Paralyzed Hit By: Thundershock Used: Feather Dance, Pound Health: Yellow

Pichu cried out as the pound connected sending her flying backwards where she crashed into a boulder. Bruises covered her body as she slowly began to stand pushing up with her tiny arms as she climbed onto her feet electricity sparking from the small pouches in her cheek. A bolt of lightning rained down from the sky hitting the ground in front of her followed by the loud echoing boom of thunder. Pichu growled as she summoned what electricity remained in her body calling it forth. The simulation pokemon gave a battle cry as electricity erupted all around her tiny body before she diverted it sending it shooting forth upwards into the sky where it would travel towards the water type to hit it with another thunder shock. Species: Pichu Gender: Female Level: 5 Attacks: Charm, Tail Whip, Thunder Shock Abilities: Static, LightningRod

"GO FOR IT TENTEN!"
While the Pichu is charging, TenTen races towards it with another pound attack. Although the effects of Paralysis could be seen with TenTen slowing down, it was still rushing at the simulated pokemon with all it's might. During it's charge, it gets hit by the thundershock. Pichu gave a pain filled cry as she was sent sailing backwards crashing into a boulder breaking it apart as she hit the ground her eyes rolling around in her head before she fainted. The moment she fainted her body shimmered before dissolving into little blocks of light as the simulator shut itself down the terrain disappearing as the metal room reappeared, the computer beeped and a robotic female voice spoke over the loud speaker, "Would you like to continue? If so please press the green button when ready"Congratulations you have received 15 points to Team Kanto.
Piplup has gained 2 levels rising to level 7.
Health has risen to High Red Species: Pichu Gender: Female Level: 5 Attacks: Charm, Tail Whip, Thunder Shock Abilities: Static, LightningRod

TenTen nods and Rika presses the green button.
Rika bites her lip, this was a long shot. Her pokemon was on High Red health. If she came up against another electric type, she and TenTen were done for. Species: Piplup Type: Water Name: TenTen Gender: Female Level: 7 Attacks: Pound, Growl, Feather Dance Hit By: Used: Health: High Red

The moment the green button had been pressed the simulation started up again the steel floor vanishing being replaced by a grassy field, flowers popping up out from blades of grass adding a little colour as flowers of all kinds appeared around them. Trees burst forth from the ground rising high up into the air creating a forest scene as leaves descended down floating on a gentle wind where they touched the ground. Blocks of light rained down from the ceiling floating to the grassy fields taking the shape of a green Bulbasaur. The Kanto pokemon gave a battle cry as the bulb on it's back opened up. It stomped at the ground as it faced the Piplup. The Grass type then rushed forth charging towards the water type pokemon for a tackle attack. Species: Bulbasaur Gender: Male Level: 7 Attacks: Tackle, Growl Abilities: Overgrow, Chlorophyll

Ok. Stay clam. It's only a simulation. "TENTEN! Growl and Pound!"

Bulbasaur slid back as he was struck by the pound, his feet digging into the simulated grassy fields before he stood up straight turning his glare towards the Piplup his anger burning to the surface. Bulbasaur parted his lips unleashing a mighty growl towards the Piplup in an attempt to lower the water type pokemon's attack. Species: Bulbasaur Gender: Male Level: 7 Attacks: Tackle, Growl Abilities: Overgrow, Chlorophyll

TenTen covers it' ears while the Bulbasaur growl.
The piplups defiant ability comes into effect as it showers the bulbasaur with a feather dance and launches itself with yet another pound. Species: Piplup Type: Water Name: TenTen Gender: Female Level: 5 Attacks: Pound, Growl, Feather Dance Buff: +Atk Used: Feather Dance, Pound Health: Red |
