The Chatot titled his head when the Pichu attempted to charm him. For an electric type, she was kind of cute. He snapped out of it as he was hit by electricity. <You'll pay for that!> he growled. In a rage, he swooped down to use Peck. Zane grew excited as the battle continued. It looked like the Chatot was into it now. He hoped they could earn his respect. As the flying type came closer, the trainer got an idea. "Tessie, use Volt Tackle!"
Tessie braced herself for the oncoming impact. At her trainer's words, however, she changed course. She did not want to ram right into the Chatot, but she knew it might be the only way to strike him in this way. Electricity formed around her as she raced forward, jumping at the last second to clash with her opponent. The Chatot did not expect the Pichu to know such a high level move. She should have flown away, but just as she started to take flight, the little mouse leapt at him, crashing into him with a powerful force of electricity. He crowd out as he fell to the ground. After getting back on his feet, he glared at the Pichu and then opened his beak to use Hyper Voice. Zane may of been new to battles, but he knew a powerful attack when he saw one. He would have to remember to use Volt Tackle more often! He bet the bird would not be able to take much more. "Now Thunder Shock!"
Tessie felt the recoil from her move, and she breathed heavily as she moved back. She was in no position to fight against the Hyper Voice. Clenching her teeth, she endured it. Then she took a deep breath and focused on her electrical energy. Glaring at the Chatot, she released a spark of power. The Chatot flew up high, but he was not quick enough. The electricity struck him and sent him crashing to the ground. His energy had finally been spent, and he remained motionless in the grass. Zane grinned when he saw the Chatot knocked out. "Yes! Great work, Tessie!" He bent down and exchanged a high five with the Pichu. His smile faded when he realized he had to do something about this flying type. Well, maybe he could teach him some manners. He did not seem like a bad Pokemon, after all. With this in mind, he found a new Pokeball and threw it at the Chatot. |

The Chatot was sucked inside the Pokeball. After rolling a few times, the ball grew still. Zane ran over to the Pokeball and picked it up. "Think he'll be a good teammate?" His Pichu shrugged. "We'll have to work on him." He put the ball away and smiled. "Let's go play!" Tessie pumped her fist in the air. Then the two of them took off running. OOC: finished |
