The Dedenne stopped to catch his breath. Battling sure was exhausting. When he looked back up at the Bagon, the dragon Pokemon was rushing at him again. he let out a yelp, but he was unable to get out of the way in time. He slid across the ground, leaving a mark in the dirt. He fainted a second later. The Pokeball fell on the Dedenne, and a white light sucked in inside. The Pokeball wobbled a few times before growing still.

Yami approached the pokeball after it had stopped making a small dinging noise to signal that the Dedenne had been caught. Yami smirked and crouched down picking the sphere up and attaching it to his obi sash next to Bagon's pokeball. Yami grabbed his bag and pulled out a spray bottle filled with a clear liquid. Seiryuu walked over to his trainer slightly bruised and battered from the battle. Yami crouched by the dragon and began to spray Seiryuu's wounds and body with the potion. The wounds began to heal the moment they were sprayed returning Bagon to full health. The small dragon jumped for joy as he felt 100% again completely re-energised and ready to battle again. Vulpix yipped as she ran over and licked Bagon congratulating him on the battle well won. Yami patted the small pokemon on the head and then instructed the two to follow as he headed deeper into the forest hoping to find some more pokemon this time for Vulpix to do battle with in order to help boost her strength up.  Species: Vulpix Type: Fire Name: Amaterasu no Mikoto (Amaterasu for short) Gender: Female Level: 5 Attacks: Ember, Tail Whip Abilities: Flash Fire, Drought Nature: Amaterasu is fiercely loyal to Yami and will listen to all his commands. She is incredibly patient more so then humans. She is quite playful and even though she is a fox has a cat like nature enjoying eating fish and playing with cat toys. She is also incredibly smart as she has shown a dislike for perverts and like all pokemon is able to understand what her trainer says. A Pansage was gleefully swinging tree-to-tree by grabbing onto branches with her hands and tail. She was having a mighty good time with herself. She had some friends she could be around, but every now and then she liked to explore on her own. It was interesting to see all of the trainers and their Pokemon who came into the forest. Looking up ahead, she could see one now. The Pansage did not stop her activity. When she reached Yami, she simply let go of the branch she was holding onto and plopped on op of his head. Holding onto him with all fours, she bent her head down to stare him in the eye. <Hi.>

Yami walked through the forest moving branches aside as he walked in deeper his two pokemon on either side Bagon the right and Vulpix the left. He stopped and paused when he felt something land on his head definitely a pokemon by its weight. He looked up as the pokemon peered down and said something to him. He raised an eyebrow and held back a sneer. He glanced at Amaterasu who yipped at his glance and leapt forward standing a good five feet away from Yami yipping at the Pansage telling him to get off of her master's head. Yami cleared his throat, "I give you fair warning to remove thy self from my head or else thy shalt feel thy wrath" spoke Yami softly his voice darkening as he gave his threat completely meaning it. Yami glanced at Amaterasu who breathed in deeply before she opened her lips expelling a small number of embers towards the Pansage with great precision that they would avoid hitting Yami completely aimed towards striking the grass type pokemon with the deadly fire technique. This would be a perfect chance for Amaterasu to get a bit of experience in battle and hopefully get a little bit stronger. He planned to challenge the first gym leader Jenna but he needed to ensure his pokemon were mid tier strength before he did so or else he would suffer defeat, and he did not wish to suffer defeat against his first gym battle. The Pansage became grumpy at the trainer's attitude. He was not very nice at all. She just wanted to have some fun. Before she could move, she was hit by flying fire balls. She let out a screech and jumped to the ground, landing on all fours. No, these guys were not nice. She glared at the Vulpix. They needed to be taught some manners. Getting an idea, she relaxed her expression as she stood up on her two feet. Then she faced the Vulpix and used Play Nice. She did not care that it would lower the Vulpix's attack stats. What mattered was that it would make them friends, causing the Vulpix to lose the will to fight. This would do nicely.

Yami walked away from the grass type and stood behind his Vulpix. Amaterasu kept her gaze on the grass type glaring in its direction. She pawed at the ground as the grass type glared back only to suddenly relax its expression as she stood two or so feet from Vulpix. Amaterasu lowered her body her attack dropping as she suddenly lost the will to fight. She laid down on the ground with a small yawn. Yami stared down at his pokemon and spoke in a chilled voice, "Amaterasu get a hold of yourself" he spoke in a harsh tone that snapped the fire type out of her stupor as she wanted to please her master. The fire type shook her head as she jumped back onto her feet and yipped at the grass type. Amaterasu began to release heat from her body causing the sun light to grow in intensity as she activated her ability drought boosting the strength of her fire techniques, "Now Ember!" spoke Yami as he glared down at the Pansage with a menacing glance. Amaterasu yipped again and opened her mouth releasing a large number of embers towards the grass type,![]() Level: 5 Attacks: Ember, Tail Whip Abilities: Flash Fire, Drought Hit By: Play Nice Used: Ember Health: High Green

The Pansage got excited when her attack seemed to work. Could they all be nice now? She frowned as the Vulpix seemed to be more powerful than her attack. Aw, couldn't they see she wanted to play, not battle? Fine, she would face them. She did not want to run away like a coward. She jumped when the Ember came toward her, and she did a flip in the air. After landing on her feet, she immediately ran forward, planning on scratching her new opponent.

A Chatot circled the area. Upon noticing the battle, he flew down and settled on a tree near Yami. He watched the action curiously, playing close attention to the words the trainer spoke. Was this a possible recruit?

Yami's eyes narrowed as he watched the Pansage leap up into the air doing a flip to avoid the incoming ember. The moment the grass type had landed she shot forward. Amaterasu yipped at the grass type as the scratch hit her dead on sending her skidding backwards a good three feet. Amaterasu shook her heads regaining her barrings. She wagged her tail performing her tail whip in the attempt to drop the foes defence in order to bolster the strength of her fire technique. Amaterasu breathed in deeply letting flames mix within her lungs. She felt the technique beginning to make its way up from her lungs into her mouth. The fox like pokemon's mouth expanded before she exhaled another deadly barrage of flaming embers. The embers sailed through the air towards Pansage aiming to encase the grass type pokemon in its flames and hopefully burn her. Amaterasu glared after firing the attack now in a full on battle mode. Yami picked up an object in his vision and turned slightly keeping an eye on the match and to view the object. The object was a bird pokemon looking like a Parakeet. It had a black head that looked like an eighth note in music and its tail a metronome. Its plumage was a mixture of bright colours, blue wings, yellow chest and feet, green stomach and pink beak and eyelids. Additionally, there was a ruff of white feathers around its neck. Yami raised an eyebrow but ignored the bird turning his full attention back to the fight at hand. He would worry about the flying type after the battle at hand was finished. Though he was curious about the pokemon wondering if he should have a go at trying to catch it or simply just battle against it after the current fight.

The Pansage was blown back by the force of the attack. She did not feel good as she stood up. This was not fun anymore. What would he friends do? Stay and fight. Right. She had to be strong. She mustered up an intimating Leer. If she was going to win, she had to make her moves stronger against the fire type. Now she moved in closer again. She wanted to Lick the Vulpix to cause damage and possibly paralysis. She could do this!

The Chatot did not know what to make of the battle. He had heard the trainer speak earlier, but he had not been able to hear his words to record them. Now, however, he remained silent. He could not report silence to his master. Could the trainer be strong without giving out commands? He could analyze it either way. if all else failed, maybe he could convince his master to come out here without any recordings.

Amaterasu yipped as the Pansage was block backwards from her attack, good this was starting to go well thought the fox fire pokemon. The Vulpix crouched waiting as the Pansage leered towards her to drop her defensive abilities. The fox yipped for her battle cry as the Pansage came charging towards her tongue out to lick her. The Vulpix gave a repulsed lick at the thought of having her beautiful red and orange fur being licked by another pokemon. Acting quickly the Vulpix leapt over the Pansage and skidded back a good three metres to avoid the licking of her fur. She shivered at the thought of it how repulsive was all she wanted to say. She gave an angry yip and wagged her tail again utilising her tail whip once more in the hopes of boosting her fire attacks. She breathed in as the sun continued to shine brightly above as her drought ability remained in play in order to give her fire moves a good boost in strength. Amaterasu than exhaled unleashing another fiery barrage of embers towards the grass type pokemon. Amaterasu watched with wary eyes, she had pride as a fire pokemon that she wouldn't be beat by a type her type had an advantage against. Yami folded his arms over his chest as his Bagon stood to his right watching the match carefully. The Pansage growled in frustration when her Lick did not hit its mark. She would have to try to attack again. At least her Leer was still in play. However, she did not like the Tail Whip and sun that were boosting the fire type's powers. She was going to have to be very careful. She ran towards the Vulpix, using her agility to dodge the Ember attack. When she got close enough, she tried to Scratch her opponent.

The Chatot found the battle very interesting. He wished his master was here to see it. Should he go get her? Nah. He would wait to see if there was anything to record.

Amaterasu growled as she pawed at the ground watching as her opposing foe dodged her ember attack. Vulpix performed her tail whip again wagging her tail back and forth just as the Pansage charged her again to try her hand at another scratch attack it seemed. Vulpix got struck head on by the scratch sending the fire type sliding back a few feet towards Yami. Vulpix leapt back to her feet and shook her head regaining her bearings. The fox slowly stood up and growled at the grass type. Amaterasu focused on Pansage breathing in slowly before opening her mouth and exhaling a barrage of flaming embers towards the grass type hoping to hit her. Yami continued to watch from the sidelines waiting for the battle to end so he could make an attempt to capture the grass type pokemon. If he didn’t want to keep the grass type he could always just either release her back into the wild or sell her off to another trainer. The thought of selling the pokemon he caught and making a profit seemed a bit ingenious. He could increase his pokemon’s strength, keep the ones he liked and sold the rest to make a bit of extra cash. Was it wrong though to sell off one's pokemon for a profit? In some ways it might be morally wrong but as far as he was aware there was no rule against it. Beside's there would be others who could take much better care of the pokemon he rid himself of. In the back of his mind though was a small niggling about the Chatot watching the match, it seemed like strange behaviour for a wild pokemon to remain so close to a battle and simply observe, he wandered if it belonged to anyone and if so who? And why would this bird be spying on him? Yami filed these thoughts away for later but kept a close eye on the bird regardless. Bagon watched on slightly envious of the fire type pokemon. The little dragon wishes he had the ability to breathe fire but he knew it would be a long time till he ever achieved that goal. He oh so wanted to be only to release a powerful stream of fire to strike down his foes, but what he wanted more than anything was to fly. He would get that chance when he finally evolved into a Salamence, then he would show the world. The last blast of fire was too much for the little grass type. She was blown back and smacked into a tree. She fell over on her face, now fainted.
You defeated the Pansage! Amaterasu has gained two levels. She now knows Roar. You have earned 15 points for Team Hoenn. Capture of move on?

The Chatot noticed that the trainer had been eying her. Now that the battle was over, perhaps he would fly away. Something kept him there, though. He did not want this guy to follow him back to his master.

Yami lifted his head as the grass type was blown back and slammed into a tree. He sighed and removed one of the empty pokeballs from his belt. He pressed the button enlarging it so it was slightly bigger than a tennis ball. He took aim and flicked his wrist as he threw sending the sphere flying through the air towards the fallen Pansage. This would mark his fourth pokemon and hopefully increase his team points. Amaterasu ran back over to her owner and sat down in front of him wagging her tail with excitement at having won her first pokemon battle and having beaten the Pansage. Bagon looked on at the fallen foe as the pokeball sailed on to capture her,
