Angelica had gotten away from the school, away from the torrent she was feeling. Her team mates hated her, half the school was still laughing at her, and she was sure the other half was talking behind her back about bad things. She was surely the school punching bag and for how long? She hopes it will blow over in a day or two, but somehow she doubted it. After all this was basically a high school right? Right and kids are ruthless and cruel. Great, Angelica was already a loser and not all of the classes had even started yet.
Sitting with her back against a tree at the pond she watched her Plusle closely as he ran around like a crazy. "Peanut you need to calm down." She said to him and the pokemon just stopped looked at her and smirked before he turned and pretended to smack his bottom a few times at her. Rolling her eyes she grow rather annoyed at him, oh she wished she had other pokemon to help keep him in line. "Peanut don't tempt me!" She called to the pokemon who just stuck out his tongue and ran around the edge of the pond making nose and being annoying. Why? Well Angelica wouldn't give him any peanut butter so he wanted to annoy her until she did. The brat. It wasn't that Peanut didn't love his trainer it was just sometimes he was like a crazy two year old.

Perhaps this wasn’t Angelica’s lucky day. Or perhaps she just needed to push through one last bad occurance to get to something truly wonderful. Regardless, it was at this time a swarm of magikarp felt the need to hop out of the pond and harass her plusle. Yes. Brilliant. The magikarp--the most lowly of all water types--were going to attack a plusle en masse. Truly these were the wonderful things Angelica needed to keep her plulse in line. Sighing Angelica just shook her head. Could this day get any worse? Oh, but it did when a swarm of magickarp came out of the pond. "Oh, my goodness." She squeaked, yet as she stood up she noticed how they where going after the mouse. Plusle was taken by surprised and ran around like a crazy pokemon. "Peanut! Focus! Used Thunder wave!" She called out to her pokemon who just ran in a circle. "PEANUT!" She then yelled sterny which got the Plusle to listen and stand still long enough to send a Thunder wave out towards the fish pokemon. Two of the magikarp, bumbling idiots that they were, were hit by the thunder wave. Paralyzed, they stopped moving. The rest used splash. It was about as effective as one might think. species: magikarp x5

Angelica's day was bad enough and now her pokemon was acting like a moron. Just her luck she got the reject Plusle. Oh, but that was just her annoyance talking for the girl loved her pokemon. "PEANUT! CHILL OUT!" She said as she watched her pokemon trip over one of the pokemon and walk into a tree. "Awesome." She then said in a mocking annoyed voice. Luckily the thunder wave got two of them, but it looked like they just couldn't move. Did that even do damage? She questioned to herself before allowing a growl to come from her throat. Fists coming together she yelled out again. "THUNDER WAVE!" She would have the Plusle shock the whole pond if she needed to. Hopefully tomorrow would be a better day for the girl because after this outing she was going back to the dorms and going to bed. The magikarp might have laughed at Angelica and Peanut if they were not so busy being paralyzed. All of them. All of the magikarp were rendered stiff bodied, their nerves protesting at any movement. This was truly the most tragic battle of them all. species: magikarp x5

"Well they stopped moving, now what?" Angelica asked her pokemon as she saw them all stiff. Rubbing her forehead she looked down at her pokedex before looking up again. "Okay now try nuzzle." She said and she watched Plusle go over to one and use his nuzzle. This was such a stressful and long day.

One magikarp down! The rest realized their situation and tried to book it for the water. Except, you know, the pond was so far away and their muscles were so very paralyzed. So, they flopped in vain. This was starting to look up. You defeated the magikarp! Peanut earned 1 level! You earned 15 points for defeating the magikarp!

As annoyed as she was maybe this wasn't as bad as she thought. As one pokemon fainted, she pulled out a pokeball and throw it at it. She could see that the others where trying to get away, but it as then that she figured she might as well try to catch them all. If anything she could sell them or maybe someone would trade her for one of them. "Okay Peanut, use nuzzle again." She said as she pointed to another one of the pokemon. Then again did she really want to waste all the pokeballs she had on the most useless pokemon of all? Oh whatever. As she stood there hoping the pokeball would make it's mark she watched as Peanut ran towards another one.

Oh, their ring leader just got hit. The remaining magikarp stood still, eyes wide. What would happen to them? Would they be caught? That wouldn’t be too bad. They heard that being a gyarados, after getting past the feelings of incredible rage towards anything that so much as breathed subsided, was pretty nice. None of the remaining three could move, but they grew a bit hopeful. You caught the magikarp! Earned 5 points! This was rather boring and she was feeling a bit sorry for the fish. Still she had an idea and as another fainted she took out another pokeball and throw it. After picking up the other pokeball of course. "Alright use nuzzle again." She said to Peanut who was getting just as bored as she was. However, Angelica was thinking just catch one more and just push the others back into the water or something. Yes that was an idea one for her and two, to trade or sell or something. Another magikarp down. Well, perhaps there would be something learned from all of this. The plulse learned some moves, the magikarp learned to think twice before trying to go hoodlum-thug-gangster on something that could kick their butts, Angie learned that she could turn a profit if she tried hard--so many lessons, so many laughs! The two remaining magikarp splashed uselessly. Beautiful. It was like an episode from the Andy Griffin show. Just good clean fun. You caught the magikarp! You earned 5 points! When will this be over? It was happening sort of quick, but the fact was sinking in that she would be the girl with the peanu butter Plusle and all those Magikarp. Hmm, greet. Throwing another pokeball she picked up the last one to be caught. "Well at least you are learning something." She said to the mouse who showed her his 'guns' "Okay hot shot use nuzzle again." She said and watched the mouse run towards the next Pokemon. Hopefully there wasn't like a big mama or papa watching them.

And, then there was one. The lone magikarp stared up. <Cool.> Yes. After the rest of his friends had taken a ride on the butt-kick express, he could only manage to say “cool”. Angelica smiled or was that a smirk when the lone magikarp said cool. Picking up the pokeball that had just caught the other one she put it in her backpack with the others and took out her last two pokeballs and throw one at the newly fainted fish before she looked at the one that was left. "You thank that is cool? Well then just wait until you are strong enough to evolve into one of the most powerful of all water types." She called out to the last fish pokemon. Looking at Peanut she nodded her head to him. "Alright Peanut one last time, use nuzzle." She called out as she watched the pokemon walk, not run, but rather walk in an i am so borrrrrred fashion towards the last fish and then aim to use nuzzle on it.
