The Vullaby scrambled madly to avoid the Draco Meteor attack, but it was no use. Several meteors hit him straight on, knocking the last of his energy from him. He fell tot he ground, defeated. As he lost consciousness, he wondered how he was ever going to live this down.
<Yay!> the Dratini cried when she saw the Vullaby faint. She rushed forward to congratulate the Bagon. <Thank you so much!> She was happy and grateful she was safe from that Pokemon.

Seiryuu grinned as his Draco Meteor struck knocking the Vullaby out of the battle. He leapt up into the air pumping his fist upwards for his win. He turned to the Dratini and pointed to his chest, <Don't worry no one will hurt you while I'm around!> proclaimed the tiny dragon as his trainer stepped forward. Yami removed a pokeball from his pocket and expanded it looking at the fainted Vullaby and addressed his pokemon, "What do you think should I capture him?" asked Yami as he looked at the fainted pokemon. Seiryuu rubbed his chin before nodding his head. Yami threw the pokeball at the Vullaby in the hopes of catching the bird like pokemon. Yami turned his attention away from the pokeball not really caring if he caught the pokemon or not and addressed the Dratini, " Shall we be off then?"Level: 26 Attacks: Rage, Bite, Headbutt, Ember, Dragon Dance (EG), Flame Thrower (TM), Draco Meteor (TM) Abilities: Rock Head, Sheer Force Enhancements: Move Strength: Hit By: Used: Health: Green |

The Vullaby was sucked into the Pokeball, which proceeded to wobble back and forth. Finally, it came to a rest.
Once the Vullaby was captured within the sphere, the Dratini nodded. <Right.> she began to move forward again, hoping that they would not run into anymore danger. It was not long before the tunnel opened up into a wide area. There were four tunnels all around them for them to choose from. The dragon type started for the second tunnel from the nest. <This way. We're not far now.> She was certain that her nest was at the end of this short tunnel. Once inside the tunnel, she looked back to make sure the others were still following.

Yami crouched down picking the sphere up as the Dratini began to move her way into the tunnel again. As they began their walk he removed his pokedex from his pocket opening the device and sat the newly caught Vullaby atop of the screen. He glanced over the buttons and punched in a few of the digits and waited as the pokeball began to glow before it vanished from his screen having teleported to his pc for storing the Vullaby. He only had one spot left on his team so he wanted to use it for something else when the time came. After all while the vullaby was strong if he came up against something say like a Tyranitar or even a Steelix in the cave he would have to resort to using a masterball and if it was transported to his pc he wouldn't be able to withdraw it till he returned home and it would make sense to keep such a powerful pokemon in his team encase they ran into any danger that his current team could not handle.
Seiryuu waddled along with a happy smile he was getting strong and he was one step closer to becoming a Shelgon then a Salamence he could not wait till he could finally fly at last. He looked at Dratini as she told them they weren't far now. He nodded his head and walk on with her. This had been quite the nice journey he had to admit.

(Um hey guys, I know it isn't my thread or anything, but Vullaby is a pokemon that has a gender rate of 100% female. It's Rufflet that is male (100% gender rate). Not trying to be mean or rude or anything, just pointing it out.)

The Dratini could feel that they were getting close. Soon, the tunnel opened up into an area smaller than the others. There was no way to get out except the tunnel from which they had just come. In the middle was a large nest, but there was no living thing in sight. Panic began to rise in the chest of the Dratini. Her mother was not here! She must have been still out looking for her. She spun around to face her new friends. <What do we do now?> She hoped one of them had an idea because she was out of them.

Yami sighed as they entered the large nest only to find no one there at all. He glanced down at the Dratini who was beginning to panic. Yami patted her on the head as he began to think, "I suppose we should head back out and take a look around the forest to see if we can find her using Tsukuyomi to search from the air" spoke Yami as he glanced at the Bagon. Seiryuu stepped forth and picked a stick up and began to draw something into the ground the first image was of Dratini in the park with a panicked expression showing she was lost. The second showed her meeting with Yami and his teeth. The third image of the group searching the cave. The fourth arriving at the empty nest with confused expressions. The fifth showed them leaving the nest. The sixth was of Dragonite leaving the nest with a big X through it. The last was of dragonite staying at the nest with a big tick.
The scenes were to explain to the mother that Dratini had gotten lost, found some help, went looking through the cave to find the nest only to arrive with her mother gone before leaving with the group to find her. The last two were for Dragonite in case she returned telling her to stay at the nest and not leave. Yami pulled a pokeball from his sash and in a beam of light Absol appeared, "Kage stay here. If Dragonite returns come find us" the dark pokemon nodded his head and laid down by the message using his paws as pillows. Yami looked to Dratini, "Could you please show us the way out"

The Dratini nodded slowly at the suggestion to look outside. That was probably a good idea. She watched in interest as a story was drawn in the dirt. She hoped that would help her mother if she came back, which she knew she would eventually. <Th-thanks,> she said to Kage. Then she turned to Yami and took a deep breath. <ok.> She led the way forward again into the first tunnel. Soon enough, they were in the first wide opening. The Dratini started for one of the tunnels when a deep voice from a different tunnel bellowed out:
"Who goes there?" The voice sounded mean and nasty.
The Dratini wanted to yelp, but her voice was caught in her throat. Did they have enough time to make it to the correct tunnel before the creature appeared?

Kage merely waved his paw through the air as he returned to his slumbering. Yami rolled his eyes as the dark type as he turned to follow after the Dratini as they made their way to one of the openings only for something to bellow through one of the tunnets. Yami stared at the tunnel his fingers going to one of the masterballs in his pocket causing it to enlarge but he did not remove it just yet. He wondered what would appear this time. He looked at Dratini who had yelped back seemed to frighten to say anything or do anything. Seiryu stepped forth in front of Dratini glaring at the tunnel as he put up a strong front while the voice sounded menacingly he would not back down, <We are simple travellers looking to return this hatchling to her mother> spoke the dragon type as he contemplated on using his flame thrower in an attempt to light up the tunnel but held back the urge to do so encase he angered the owner of the voice. Though it was quite possible while the creature might seem frightening it was simply trying to intimidate them. <Hatchling?> the voice said. Scuttling was heard, and then a Pokemon appeared from the tunnel. It was a Dwebble! His eyes fell on the Dratini. <Is your mother a Dragonite?> His voice sounded much softer and lower now that it was not echoing in the tunnel.
The Dratini was surprised to find that the scary-sounding Pokemon was only a little Dwebble. Still, she was cautious as to his inquiry. He could probably still attack her. <Yes,> she said timidly.
The Dwebble brightened at this news. "Sorry, I thought you were intruders. I saw a Dragonite pass by not too long ago! Come on!> He turned and excitedly headed back to the tunnel from which he had come.

Yami relaxed slightly as the pokemon was revealed to be a Dwebble he had thought it was going to be something dangerous like a Steelix, Tyranitar or something else that his pokemon wouldn't have been able to handle and he would have had to resort to utilising one of his masterballs to defeat it but it seemed luck was on their side this time unlike with the Vullaby which had attacked them. Yami removed his hand from his pocket after minimising the masterball back down to marble size. His Noibat tucked on his shirt legs pointing at the Dwebble with her wing as it scurried off into the tunnels, Noibat telling him to follow the crab like Pokemon. With a nod he began walking forth in order to catch up.
Bagon nodded his head as the Dwebble told them to follow him as he had seen Dragonite pass by. Bagon walked up to the Dwenble ensuring Dratini was a safe distance from him encase of emergencies. A grin was forming on Bagon's lips as he eyed the Dwebble, <You look strong!> he said, after all he was a dragon pokemon and he loved a good battle. Of course his priority was finding the Dragonite's mother but he wouldn't mind a battle with the Dwebble afterwards, <I would love to have a good match against you one day!> spoke the Bagon as he puffed his little chest out.

The Dwebble scurried along the floor, intent on his destination. He did not turn to look when the Bagon spoke to him, but he did address him. <Thank you,> he said, his voice full of pride. If he remembered correctly, the Bagon looked pretty strong himself. <A battle would be great.> He loved showing his strength to others. He had worked hard to get to where he was now. A battle would have to wait, though. Right now, he was on a mission.
After several minutes, the crab Pokemon led the group out into a large area that radiated heat. There were many tunnels to choose from, making it a sort of center point for the Lava Cave. There, in the middle, was a Dragonite speaking to two Magby. The Magby appeared frightened. They shook their heads before running off into one of the tunnels. The Dragonite growled in frustration. But then she turned to face the group, and her eyes widened.
The Dratini came up from behind the Dwebble and Bagon. She let out a small gasp upon seeing the Dragonite. <Mom!> she cried. Finally, she had found her mother! She moved forward as quickly as her limbless body would carry her.
The Dragonite opened her arms and scooped up her baby as soon as she came near. <I missed you so much,> she cooed. Then her eyes settled on the group that had brought the Dratini there. <Did you take her away from me?> she snarled. If they had, they would pay!

Bagon grinned as they walked through the caves the Dwebble leading them along as their escort. At least they would find the Dratini's mother a lot quicker than if they were searching on their own. As they walked though Bagon glanced back at his trainer, he had been with his trainer the longest and always seemed to know what he was thinking or planning. No doubt his trainer would attempt or ask to capture the Dratini and her mother the Dragonite after all his trainer was a Dragon Type Specialist so there was no way he was going to pass up on the chance to capture two new dragons for his team. Bagon came to a stop as the Dragonite and a pair of Magby appeared up ahead.
Yami folded his hands over his chest as the Dratini ran to her move and was scooped up. At least they were now reunited. His eyes narrowed through as the Dragonite turned her attention onto them and snarled great most likely she was assuming they took her chid. He kept his ground and glared up at her no fear present at all as his Noibat hovered in the air above him.
Bagon sighed as he stepped forth and jumped up and down to catch the Dragonite's attention considering his much smaller stature, <Excuse me down here!> he shouted before he stopped with the hope of grasping her attention, <We did not take your hatchling from you. We found her lost in the City Park and once we found out her circumstance we escorted her back here> said Bagon as he explained the situation to the mother Dragonite.

The Dragonite glanced down at the Bagon as he spoke. They were merely returning her baby? She glanced down at the Dratini in her arms. <Is this true?> When he daughter nodded, she sighed and set her down on the floor. <My mistake. Thank you for returning her safely.> She was still wary, however. She was not sure of this trainer's motives. many would expect to catch her or her baby in exchange for helping her out. She would have none of that! She did have two sons, though, who were eager to leave the nest, and she might considering letting one of them go.
<No problem,> the Dwebble said, grinning. He was glad everything seemed to have worked out.
Just then, two more Pokemon filed out of a tunnel: a Dragonair and a Dratini. <You found her!> the male Dratini exclaimed as he slithered over to his family.
The Dragonair smiled at the reunion. Then he turned and noticed the group. <A human?> he said. What was a trainer doing there? Had they brought his sister home?

Yami slowly stepped towards the group as the two male Dratini and Dragonair appeared before them. He then perhaps did something completely unexpected from a trainer when it comes to wild pokemon he bowed. His knees touched the floor of the cave his stomach pressed against them as his forehead touched the dirt each of his hands beside his head as he gave a deep formal bow to the four dragons before him. He shared a deep bond with his Bagon and hoped he would no what to do. Seiryuu exchanged a look with Noibat as their trainer bowed on the ground before turning his attention to the group as he stepped in front of his trainer and bowed as well, <Oh great Dragon of the Land, Sea and Sky. Trainer wishes to beseech upon the a humble request. He would like to request to battle either of your sons in battle in the hopes of joining his team and would consider it a great honour if you would allow him to do so. For he dreams of becoming the strongest Dragon Pokemon Master in the world!> Bagon slowly lifted his head a fire of determination burning within them as he stood up, <And I will do all in my power to see my Master's dream come true!> |
