Yami sighed as he pulled himself up onto the ledge that led to the lava cave. It had taken several hours but he had finally made his way to the heat intensive cave. One might ask what was he doing here? It was simply he was assisting in helping the young Dratini, which sat on his left shoulder, in finding her mother where her next resided at lava cave. The young dratini had apparently wandered off to explore and got lost finding herself at the Park of shupert City. Normally Yami might have perhaps ignored it but if he did no doubt his dragon pokemon Tyrunt, Noibat and Bagon would have been quite upset with him, especially seeing as his Bagon was on his right shoulder. Though of course this did bring along the opportunity to perhaps catch not only a Dratini but also a Dragonite. Yami approached the entrance to the cave peeking in slightly before turning to Bagon nodding to him to communicate with the female dragon. The Dratini was grateful to have help in finding her mother. It was a lot of work to climb up to the Lava Cave, so she knew these trainer really was sincere. She kept silent as they traveled, though she did become more comfortable as the minutes ticked by. She grew excited when she saw the Lava Cave come into view. Her mother had to be close! She glanced at the Bagon when he spoke to her. <It was outside,> she replied. <And, uh, it's a bit of a ways in there.>
She had never found her nest on her own, but she knew she could do so if she tried. She wondered if her mother was out searching for her or if she had gone back to the nest. <My mom may be inside looking for me, thinking I would try to find my way back. I can show you my nest.> She paused to see if either trainer or Pokemon had any better ideas. Then she moved to climb down Yami's arm so that she could lead the way.

Seiryuu leapt down from his spot on his trainer's shoulder to stand next to the younger dragon. He turned to Yami and pointed into the cave to tell him they had to go on in. Yami rubbed his chin as he retrieved a pokeball from his belt, "Bagon take point with Dratini" commanded the trainer it would be better to keep Bagon up front to protect the younger dragon and to act as her escort. Yami held out the new pokeball, "Tsukuyomi" called Yami. A beam of light shot out of the pokeball and began to take the shape of his second dragon pokemon, a female Noibat. The female dragon hovered in the air beside Yami before she settled down onto her trainer's shoulder. Yami stuck his left hand in his pocket where he had a few masterballs he had bought stashed away. None of his pokemon were strong enough to fight against a Dragonite so he would need to use a masterball to catch her should she accept his offer to come with him. Though he'd rather not have to battle against the superior dragon if he could avoid it. The Dratini was grateful that the Bagon would be walking beside her. He could protect her if anything scary appeared since she was not a very strong fighter. She took a deep breath before moving forward into the cave. <Here we go.> It was not so bad at first. The dark cave brought an almost welcoming feeling to the young dragon. Perhaps she would see a friendly face who would be able to help her out. There were other dragons in here she often played with. The thought of them pleased her.
After several minutes, they came along a fork in their path. The Dratini examined both before turning to face Yami. She knew exactly where she was. <Both tunnels will take us to my nest,> she said. <The one on the left is shorter, but some scary Pokemon live in it.> She bit her lip nervously. <Which do you want to take?> She would prefer to take the safe, long path, but since the trainer was kind enough to help her, she thought he should be the one to decide.

Yami followed after his Noibat sitting happily on his shoulder as she kept an eye out for any pokemon that may appear. Yami fiddled with the gear in his pockets he had exactly nine masterballs on him which should the situation occur he would be able to catch any pokemon his team couldn't handle. To be on the safe side he had deposited his vulpix and onix into the peace and removed his Absol in order to keep the three strongest on his team Bagon, Absol and Noibat. His tyrunt was a newly born so he couldn't deposit him and his egg ensured only one space left on his team. Bagon walked exactly a single step behind Dratini giving enough distance to allow her to lead yet enough for him to jump in front of her should they come under attack. He came to a stop as they came to a fork in their path. The female dragon turned his his master and said that both led to the next one was shorter with scary pokemon the other was longer. Bagon began to scribble something into the ground using strange characters that Yami would understand. Yami examined the characters one fork at 'short' and 'dangerous' the other 'long' and 'safe'. Yami rubbed his chin as he examined the two paths, " Logically the longer path would be the best way to go. However reuniting you with your mother is a priority so it would be best to take the shorter path. My team should be able to handle what they come in contact with. If not I have a few items up my sleeve that will help us. So we shall take the shorter route" spoke Yami as he then used a motion of his hand indicating for the Dratini to lead on. The Dratini watched as the situation was explained to the trainer. When he made a decision, she took a deep breath and nodded. Yes, she did want to find her mom quickly, and if his Pokemon helped out... She could do it. She put on a brave face before moving towards the left tunnel. It started out easy-going. They were almost to the exit when the Dratini began to allow herself to believe that they would get out without encountering anything.
Suddenly, a voice boomed from the end of the tunnel: <Who dares to trespass?>
The Dratini let out a yelp and hid behind the Bagon. <Wh-who are you?> she asked fearfully as she peeked out from behind the other dragon type.
A shadowy figure moved forward. Then the Pokemon become visible: a Vullaby. <Do you intend to invade my nest?> he growled.

Seiryuu took a lone step forward as a pokemon slid out of the shadows revealing itself to be the dark flying type Vullaby. This pokemon in particular like most flying types could be very protective of their nest, however Vullaby really didn't install all that much fear as in the pokemon world the all female species was known for chasing away weaker pokemon then themselves. Bagon puffed his chest out as the Dratini stood behind him, <We have no need to invade your nest for we seek the nest of a Dragonite deep inside the cave to return her young one. > spoke the Bagon in a calm manner. Though if the Vullaby decided to attack them he would quickly utilise his flame thrower to release a powerful jet of flames. Yami stood behind the two a good five steps behind. He had his hand in his pocket hooked around an ultra ball. If the Vullaby decided to attack he knew his Seiryuu would intervene and retaliate. Once the pokemon was weak enough he'd throw either an ultra ball, great ball or pokeball depending on its strength but also Bagon's health. Though did he want to use up a space in his team. He could also just deposit it into his pc through his pokedex in order to leave a bit of space. The Vullaby was not persuaded by the Bagon's words. He did not believe him. Even if what he said was true, they had disturbed him, and for that they had to pay. <You will not pass!> he bellowed. He then used his Gust attack against the Bagon, who seemed the strongest of the group. Then the dragon type was attacking him with Flamethrower. The Vullaby quickly moved around int he small space, dodging the attack. Then he sped forward to use Feint attack.
The Dratini hid behind Yami as a battle began. She did not want to give that bird any reason to attack her! She would let the expert handle this.

Bagon sneered as he was propelled back by the gust attack before being struck by the feint attack the last thing he wanted was to take such heavy blows at the start of a battle. He would need to return the favour. Bagon leapt to his feet and began his ritual dragon dance feeling his strength and speed begin to rise. Slowly Bagon began to raise his hands into the air, time for some pay back with his strongest move. An orange sphere began to gather above Bagon a small sphere that suddenly expanded until it was three times his own size. The Bagon then threw the sphere towards the Vullaby, <TAKE THIS!>. The moment the sphere left his hands it exploded releasing multiple smaller orange spheres that flew through the cave towards the flying pokemon. The Vullaby puffed out his chest when his opponent started another attack. He could take anything he dished out. well... almost anything. He had not been expecting the puny dragon to know Draco Meteor. The flying type ran around, trying to dodge the rocks, but it was no use. The attack took the wind out of him, and he was hurt badly. Now he was really mad. He glared at the Bagon through Leer to get his point across. Then he rushed towards him to use his Pluck attack.

Bagon held back a grin as his Draco Meteor did some serious damage to the flying type pokemon as it had failed to avoid his attack. He tensed his leg muscles as the Vullaby rushed towards him. He timed the attack and quickly moved out of the way his speed having doubled thanks to his dragon dance ability allowing him to escape the attack with ease. He moved a few feet away from Vullaby putting a little bit of distance between them as he danced again to further boost his speed and attack strength. His chest puffed out as his cheeks began to expand. Seiryuu reared his head back before pulling it forward releasing a bellowing roar. As he released his roar a large stream of fire washed forth through the air the tongue of flame licking at the ground as it rushed forth to encase the enemy pokemon. Yami crouched down beside Dratini placing a hand upon her head in order to give her a sense of security. His Noibat floated in front of them to act as a shield. Suddenly a rustling came from Yami bag. He pulled the strap down sitting it in front of them and unzipped it revealing the poke egg he had bought. The egg was shaking violently as it began to crack. He lifted the egg out of the bag and placed it in front of him, of all the places for it to hatch now while they were in a battle. (OOC: Strange place to hatch an egg but I would like to hatch my egg now please. The Vullaby had not been expecting the Flamethrower attack. He attempted to jump out of the way, but the majority of the attack still hit him. He cried out in pain. How dare that dragon do that to him in his own territory! He would really show him now! He raced forward in fury to attack back. There was no way he was going to be humiliated.
The Dratini blinked gratefully at Yami and the Noibat. She was so glad she had found them. She surely would have gotten lost or attacked without their help!
The egg fell apart, hatching into a male Gible.

Bagon grinned as he watched the Vullaby being struck by his flamethrower taking extensive damage.His body flinched as the blows of the fury attack struck him dead on sending him sliding towards his trainer. Bagon stopped a feet away from his trainer as he rose to his feet giving a battle cry as he began to perform his dragon dance once more. His body swayed to an unsung song that only he could hear as his attack and speed rose once more. Bagon's chest expanded followed by his cheeks as he reared his head back. He kept his mouth shut in order to build up the rising flames inside his tiny body. The moment he couldn't hold them back any more he released them. Due to the build up of fire inside his body instead of releasing it immediately he released a giant blast of flames that roared forth. Yami pulled a pokeball out of his pocket tapping it onto the newly born gible. He would store the pokemon in the sphere to keep it safe for now. The Vullaby had more time to react before the next attack. He could see that Flamethrower was going to be used again, so he ducked to the side to avoid it. Thankfully, he was able to escape damage. He leered at the Bagon angrily. How dare he have the upper hand! He knew he needed to do something quickly so that he could win this. He would put these guys in their place! He moved forward to use his Feint Attack.

Bagon slid back again as the feint attack connected with his small body sending him sliding through the cave. He came to a stop and sneered as he began his dragon dance again to bolster his attack and strength now at four times. Bagon slowly lifted his arms into the arm gathering energy as a sphere of orange began to form at his finger tips. He then threw the sphere releasing it towards the Vullaby. The sphere exploded outwards releasing a barrage of multiple smaller orange spheres through the air aimed to crash down upon the Vullaby and the area surrounding him.
