New Place, New Life! 
Nana was really excited to see her new companion, it's been years, waiting and waiting for this moment. She let out another cheesy smile as she walked along the hallway, eyes occasionally looking down to the map to know where she could possibly be going. She wished to have at least some words of encouragement on her education and journey from her mother and father, but due to her disappearance, it's all her fault that they had died. Last night, she studied on all kinds of Pokemon that she'd supposedly like, and would rather the big dragon types than squeamish fairy types. Her lips curled up into a smile as she halted her step at the Principle Sash's Office. She stood there for a second or two, pondering on her future at this academy. Would she get a reliable Pokémon? Would she ever make friends? What if people don't like her? Would she ever get over her past? All kinds of questions poured into her brain, overthrowing her thoughts. Shaking her head from left to right in a slight nod, she put a smile on her face and lifted her knuckle, knocking like so.

Principal Sash still had a lot of work to do since it was the beginning of the semester. Her Vulpix Maya tried to help her by sitting on her desk and pointing out what she thought were mistakes on the computer screen. Sash kindly thanked her for her service. She grew excited when she heard a knock on the door. It was probably a new student, and she loved handing out first Pokemon. Plus, this was an excuse to get a break from her work. As she stood up, she grabbed a test from her desk so that she would be prepared if her hunch was right. She took long strides to make it to the door, opening to reveal a girl. She gave her a bright smile. "Hi! I'm Principal Sash. Are you here for a Pokemon? You will need to full this out." She held out the slip of paper for her to take. |

Gently closing the door behind her, Nana glanced at the office in front of her before introducing herself. "Hey, I'm Nana Tachibana. Nice to meet you." Nana cracked a gentle smile before the principle, thanking for the paper. From the pen behind her ear, she began writing away on the sheet of paper.

Sash waited patiently for the girl to finish her test. When she did, she grabbed it and quickly looked it over. The choice here seemed easy. "I'll be right back." She skipped to the area of the room where the Pokemon were held. She grabbed three Pokeballs and headed back to the student. "These are your choices." She released each Pokemon in turn for the girl to examine. She wondered she would choose as her new partner. May watched curiously from atop the desk.

"Yuudai, The Torchic" (雄大)
Kneeling down to the three Pokemon, she glanced at the three Pokemon with a gentle smile. With their body movement and emotions, she could predict what their personalities could possibly be. The tadpole Pokemon didn't seem to be into her liking, so she was battling with the choice of either Torchic or Aipom. The Aipom looked too cheeky to her liking, and would rather not have to deal with a trickster Pokemon. She smiled at her choice of Pokemon, Torchic. Looking up to Principle Sash, she nodded. "I'd like the Torchic, Please." She asked politely, and reached her hand out to the Torchic as a mere greeting and request to pet. Gladly, the Torchic allowed the girl to softly pat it's fluffed and ruffled head.
The Torchic was male, and was quite obedient to orders, yet became rather excited within battles. It looked to be ready for any battle, whether big or small or even at type disadvantage. Meekly picking the Torchic up into her arms, she gently patted the ruffles upon his head while in her arms, waiting to receive her items for her student journey.

Sash smiled when the girl pet the Torchic. It looked like they would get along well. "Good choice. Here is its Pokeball." After handing the sphere to her, she returned the other two Pokemon. Then she took the balls to the back of the room. Once she had completed this task, she picked up a backpack and headed back to the student. "This is your starter pack. Now you're all ready to go." She smiled as she held the backpack out to her. She wondered what adventures she had in store.

Glad with her choice, she receives her supplies from the principle and thanks her. "Thank you Principle Sash!" She beams happily, which the torchic does as well. Exiting from the Office, she gently closes the door behind her with a cheesy grin remaining on her face. With her Torchic in her embrace, she makes her way to her dorm.
"Alright! I've got this!" She beamed once again, raising her fist cheeringly.
