Nature: Due to abuse by before trainers Hans has become scared of some humans and tends to stray away from them. He also knows, though, that not all humans are bad and if are nice to him, he may actually become attached to them. When comfortable, Hans can be very joyous and playful. If you don't reach out to him as a friend, though, he will either attack or try to go away from you. Not only that, but he is a grudge holder, refusing to let go of any past transgressions unless said issue has been solved or made somewhat better.
History: Hans grew up a dull, gray, Slugma and was generally left alone because most found his color rather hideous. He longed to evolve into a beautiful Magcargo so people would finally notice him and he might be happy. Yet that day took years, and his spirits became about as dull as his boiling magma was. He practiced hours upon hours trying to evolve yet nothing seemed to be working. Until one day, his body started flashing into a bright light and then all of the sudden, it stopped. When Hans looked down instead of a dull gray he saw a vibrant purple. Intoxicated with joy, if there is such a thing, Hans strolled into a city, sure he would be noticed. At that moment somebody trapped him in a cage and brought him somewhere underground where he saw a bunch of little stands selling things Hans was sure wasn't legal, there was even pokémon being sold off to other trainers! Then the thought of what was happening struck him, he was going to be sold in a black market to some random trainer! He cowered in fear as he was sold off to some evil looking man who clearly had no intentions of letting him go free. The next couple years were horrible, the trainer had a group of ruffian pokémon of which Hans wanted nothing to do with, and yet he found himself to be a part of it. He was treated horribly, abused, and soon enough he found his shell was beginning to crack. The trainer realized that Hans was utterly useless, and set him free in the lava cave. Seeing the scary dark pokémon living inside the cave, Hans fled, and travels around Shupert city to this very day. Mending his strength and broken will.
Catchable Yes, but only if you make friends with him first, or else he'll refuse to battle and/or try and flee from you each time he's taken out. A bond between him and the trainer must be created.
