Pachirusu smirked at the Bidoof as her quick attack landed. She shut her eyes and danced at the blow getting over confident not even noticing when the bidoof slammed into her with his tackle attack sending her flying through the air where she crashed into a fallen tree. She cried out in pain before she landed on the ground. She struggled to stand as she wobbled over to Fennekin before collapsing on the ground defeated. The fire type ran over to her friend and stood in front of her growling slightly as she stood on edge. Congratulations you defeated Pachirisu

Faith hesitated as she watched Fennekin stand in front of the Pachirisu to prevent her from capturing her. This might not look good to the little fox. While her friend may have not listened to reason, maybe this one could be persuaded now that she was alone. When her Bidoof started to growl back, she decided it was time to return him. "You did a great job, Willy. Take a rest now." She quickly took out his Pokeball and returned him. Then she bent down to address the Fennekin. "It's alright," she said gently. "Your friend is the one who started the fight. I don't wish either of you any harm. My Pokemon and I are good people." She took out another Pokeball, both so that her Kecleon could try to persuade the Fennekin and for protection if the wild Pokemon decided to attack her. "Calm her down, Ziggy."
The Kecleon appeared in a flash of light before her. He calmly took a step towards the Fennekin. <Be cool, dude,> he said in a casual, non-threatening tone. |

The fire fox watched the young girl and her bidoof carefully flinching at the sight of the pokeball fearing it would be used only for the Bidoof to be returned into the sphere and a Kecleon to be called out. She stood on the tips of her paws fur standing on edge as she watched the normal type step towards her and spoke in a casual tone, however fear had over ridden the senses of the Fennekin as in her fear she panicked, with her best friend down fear told her to protect them, fear told her instincts to attack so she did just that. Fennekin cried out as she opened her mouth and fired a small barrage of tiny embers towards the Kecleon. Species: Fennekin Gender: Female Level: 5

Faith could see this Fennekin was not going to listen to reason either. It was probably not a good idea to leave her alone in this state. Since she was attacking, all the girl could think to do was attack back. She could sort out the rest later. "Ziggy, use Astonish." It was a feeble attempt, but perhaps they could scare her off.
Ziggy was too caught off guard by the Ember attack to dodge it. After he was hit, he felt his abilities being activated, gave him the type of the last damaging move he endured - this one being fire. At his trainer's command, he rushed forward to use Astonish.

Fennekin cried out as the astonish struck knocking her back before she shook her fur and glared at the kecleon. If she had been in her right mind she would have remembered about the Kecleon's special ability to change their type depending on the last move they were struck by. If she had she wouldn't have reused her ember attack as it wouldn't be very effective at all. Fennekin cried out as she opened her mouth as a small sphere of fire formed. The fireball propelled itself forth splitting apart into numerous tiny embers that flew towards the Kecleon to bombard him. Species: Fennekin Gender: Female Level: 5

Faith still felt bad for the little fire fox. She decided the most humane thing to do would be to finish the battle as quickly as possible. It might take a while to get her and her friend to trust her, but she was up to the challenge. Since their home was likely destroyed due to the tornado, going with her was likely their best option anyway. "You're doing good, Ziggy. Now use Tail Whip and Ancient Power!" She was glad the Kecleon knew a variety of moves right off the bat.
Ziggy did not even bother to dodge the Ember attack. Silly Fennekin. As soon as he was able, he turned around and moved his tail back and forth. Then he prepared to attack a gain. He formed a ball of ancient energy in his hands and then shot it at the fire type.

Fennekin was too surprised by the Ancient Power to dodge it. She whimpered slightly as she was sent flying back. Her body was beginning to shake now. She took deep breaths to calm herself as she slowly stood back up. She could not tell who was losing the battle, but she knew she had to continue fighting hard. She decided to try using her Scratch attack this time. She raced forward with plans of hitting the Kecleon. Species: Fennekin Gender: Female Level: 5

Faith hoped the Fennekin was going to be alright. She had plans of bringing both her and the Pachirisu to the Pokemon Center after this was all over. Maybe once they had calmed down she could try to be their friends again. She saw an opportunity in the Scratch that the fox used. "Ok, Ziggy, use Bind!" This would work great.
Ziggy stood waiting for the Fennekin's next attack. He was a bit surprised in the change of plans, so eh was unable to dodge the Scratch. He heard his trainer's command, though, and he thought it was a good idea. While the Fennekin was still closed, he wrapped his tail around and tried to squeeze her.

Fennekin attempted to leap to the side, but the Kecleon's tail tripped her up, and she fell. Her eyes widened in surprise when the tail wrapped around her body and began to squeeze her. Her panic attack came back, and all she think of was to find a way to get free. She turned her head and shot out small fire balls, hoping this would do the trick. He needed to let go now! Faith winced as the Fennekin got in a close-range attack. She could tell she was wearing down, though, and she did not want to give up now. Plus, if she used a fire attack again, it would not hurt as much because of Ziggy's special ability. "Don't let go, Ziggy. Now use Lick!" She hoped this would be over soon.
Ziggy grit his teeth as fire balls hit him. He obeyed his trainer, though, and did not let go. He could do this! It was hard to hold onto the squirming fox, but he did it. He positioned himself so that he could lean over and Lick the Fennekin's face.

Fennein shivered as she was licked in the face. That was just gross! She struggled to get out of the Kecleon's grip, but it was no use. In a panic, the only thing she could thing of to do was to continue to use Ember. She position herself to get a good aim and then attacked. If this did not work, but she and her Pachirisu friend may be doomed. It was all or nothing now! Species: Fennekin Gender: Female Level: 5

Faith was glad the battle was winding down. One more hit would do it. She knew she would immediately need to go to the Pokemon Center after this. Maybe Nurse Joy would have ideas about how she could gain the trust of the Fennekin and Pachirisu. "Hold on, Ziggy, and finish it with Scratch!"
Ziggy shut his eyes as he was hit with fire again. Luckily, it did not hurt as much this time. It was a struggle to hold onto the wiggling fox Pokemon, but he managed it. He twisted around so that he could swipe his claw at her. This had better work.

Fennekin continued to struggled, but it was no use. The Scratch attack was what did her in. She suddenly fell limp in the Kecleon's tail. As she drifted off into unconsciousness, she could only think about how she had failed her friend. Species: Fennekin Gender: Female Level: 5

Ziggy let go of the Fennekin when he felt her go limp. He hopped back to stand beside his trainer. He nodded in satisfaction of a job well done. That had been quite fun.
Faith smiled slightly at her Kecleon and pat him on the head. "Good job, Ziggy. Take a rest." She pulled out his Pokeball and returned him. Then she frowned as she looked at th eunconscious Fennekin and Pachirisu. Well, the only thing left to do was catch them. After healing them, she could work on the difficult task of gaining their trust. She took out two empty Pokeballs and tossed one at each Pokemon. OOC: Points and levels? |

Both Pokeballs wobbled on the ground. After several moments, they grew still.
Kecleon has gained two levels! He may now learn Feint Attack.
