It was late afternoon when Serah finally got out of her dorm that day. She had meant to get out a bit earlier. Though the nap that she had ended up taking rather than going out was quite nice in her opinion. But, it was high time she got outside. But where would she go? She could stay on campus, but that wouldn't be much fun. Shupert City seemed the logical place to go for Serah. So that's where she went. Although, she didn't stay in the actual city for long. Serah soon reached the park that was in Shupert. She had heard many things about the park, but hadn't seen it for herself before this point. It was a really nice place. Definitely a place that she would have to come back to sometime. Scout was really enjoying himself in the park. The Phanpy was running around without a care in the world, it seemed like. Serah walked along one of the paths in the park. Eventually, she stepped into the grass. Scout came up to Serah's side as she sat down. Soon, though, he was once again running around the little area of the park. It was going to be a nice day, Serah thought as she watched Scout zoom along through the grass. She was having a wonderful time relaxing for most of the day. Yet life was rather boring now a days for the young and elegant Eevee. A graceful being she had been watching the trainer and her pokemon for a short while. Hidden by a tree, tucked behind it, only to let out a soft giggle at the antics of the ground pokemon. Such an interesting pair, and she couldn't help but notice just how playful the Phanpy was. Perhaps this trainer and her pokemon where more then just a couple of goofballs. For even though she was a very elegant and graceful lady, Eevee had a passionate love of battling. So from her spot she stood up and after she cleaned her fur of dirt, strolled over towards the pair before sitting down in the grass. Wrapping her tail around her in a graceful and poised manner she sat there for a moment before eyeing the elephant pokemon in a coy manner. <Oh, hello there.> She said softly to the other pokemon, as she sat tucked in the grass some five feet away.

Serah looked up as she saw movement. An Eevee had walked right up to where she and Scout were. Well, almost right up to them. The Eevee had stopped about five feet from where they were and sat down. Scout noticed as well, stopping in his tracks. Another possible friend! Oh how he couldn't wait to get to know this other pokemon. <Oh hi there!> Scout replied to the Eevee. Serah got up from where she had been sitting, looking from Scout to the Eevee. "Whaddya say Scout? Up for a little battle?" She didn't even know why she asked. Scout always seemed to be up for a battle. The Phanpy trumpeted his response eagerly. The girl rolled her eyes at the overeager Phanpy. Scout was facing the Eevee head on. He was ready for it to start now. All he needed to know was what Serah wanted him to do. Serah debated for a moment before deciding on what she thought Scout should do first. "Alright Scout. Let's start off with Growl! Followed up with Ice Shard." At that, Scout was off. Scout continued to stare down the Eevee just before letting out a growl. He hoped it was a fierce one. Finally, Scout aimed for the Eevee as he released shards of ice in her direction. He watched with baited breath to see if they would hit. Oh? Did someone want to battle? Well they could have at least asked. Looking at the trainer and her pokemon with a coy look in her elegant eyes she seemed to stare for a moment. <An elegant Eevee like me battle?> She questioned them in a soft innocent voice. Acting as if she had never done such a thing before. Getting up she looked at the two, <Is my stance okay?> She questioned in a voice that was curious. She could have simply ran away and been done with them, but she liked giving others a surprise after she played the part of someone who had never battled before. <Oh, such a scary growl you have there.> She said as she lowered herself like she was really scared. However, it did lower her attack. Watching the blue pokemon she looked confused and out of place, then it all changed. Giving a sly smirk she allowed a small chuckle to leave her lips before she bolted from her spot and zig-zagged out of the way of the coming ice shard. Twisting around in a smooth motion she wagged her tail at the Phanpy, using tail whip before running forward, using a tree she spun around to face the ground pokemon, while charging it as she attempted a tackle. Lowering her head she aimed for the bigger area of it's body.
