Miss Riverton glanced down at the attendance list for her Psychology Level II class. Nate Kerston, Luigi Salcedo, Kiki Jones, Paul Gruff, Zoey Clowes, and Yami Hateshiginai. She remembered most of them from the last semester, but there were a few new ones. This was her first class of the new semester. She was very excited for it to start. Her Tyrogue, Sport, stood beside her, looking eager as well. She enjoyed the advanced classes more than the beginner ones because those who attended the classes were more interested and invested in the subject. That always made teaching more fun. Plus, she loved to challenge the students. Once she finished glancing at her list, she stood at the front of the room, ready to greet all of the students as they came in.

Yami gave a soft yawn as he headed down the halls of Cherilli Academy to attend his first class of the new semester Psychology Level II. Pokemon Psychology was a rather fascinating subject he had to agree with that and it helped him to understand his pokemon by allowing him to approach them from another level. Like most days he had gone with a rather traditional address mainly because as his first class of the year it was best to make a good impression. In order to ensure he made a good impression he wore his standard Hakama pants in black, a black kimono top, black obi sash, black tabi socks and waraji, subconsciously he wandered why he preferred to wear black but pushed this thought aside. Using his right hand he removed a pokeball from his obi sash and tossed it up into the air. Shooting out of the ball and appearing on his right shoulder was none other than his loyal and trusted companion Seiryuu the Bagon. Seiryuu grinned as he stood on his masters shoulder looking over the world. He dreamed of the day he would finally become a Salamence and soar high in the skies but that was a story for another day.
Yami came to a stop at the door over the classroom. He reached out grasping the knob of the door and turned it slowly stepping into the room taking note that he was the first to arrive. He turned to the teacher of the class Miss Riverton and bowed deeply yet politely, "Good Day Miss Riverton" spoke Yami his tone soft yet polite before he stood up and headed to the back of the room taking a seat at one of the tables up the back closet to the window. His Bagon hopped onto the table and began staring at the teacher's Tyrogue.

Nate enjoyed Pokemon Psychology. It was a useful class for his mission of becoming a top Pokemon breeder. He loved getting into the minds of Pokemon so that he could understand them better and take care of their needs. For this class, he decided to take with him his baby Solosis Echo. He thought it was a great choice since he was young and knew telepathy. He was eager to find out what the Pokemon thought about the class. Their mental connection would be sure to help them out. The Solosis floated by his side, looking around nervously when they entered the classroom. Nate could tell he was a little shy. "It will be alright," he said gently. He hoped they would meet some nice trainers and their Pokemon that they could befriend. He took a seat in the middle of the front row with Echo next to him.

Kiki was excited to be taking the next level of Pokemon Psychology. She and Alice had enjoyed the previous class, so they were eager to continue their education. She had learned a lot that would help her on her quest to become a Pokemon healer. It would be good to get even more in depth with the second level class. Glancing down at her Bayfleef, for her sake, she wondered if Paul was taking this class. If he was in the class, she hoped he brought Thorn, for her own grass type would be excited to see him again. She did not think Paul had learned anything from the previous psychology class, which was a shame. Would the second level do him any better? They were probably less students taking the class, so maybe the teacher could help him out with his specific needs. She was not fond of him, but she wanted his Pokemon to be taken care of. After entering the classroom, she chose a seat in the front so that her newly evolved Bayleef would have plenty of space. Alice stood in front of her desk and happily looked around the room.

It was a wonder as to why Paul was taking the second course of Pokemon Psychology. After his first experience with it, one would think he would never set foot in any class like it again. Yet, here he was, walking to the same classroom. He would never admit it was because he actually wanted to take it, not that he did. His reasoning behind it was that there were very few choices in classes this semester, and he needed to take two core classes. He could endure it for another semester and hopefully find something useful that would help him to make himself and his Pokemon stronger.
Thorn, his Turtwig, trotted alongside him. They soon came to the correct classroom and entered. Immediately, Thorn dashed off. Letting out a sigh, he followed where he ran, not surprised that it was to Kiki and Alice. He assumed Alice was always going to come to this class. He watched the initial interaction for a moment before slowly making his way over to them. Seeing Alice more closely now, he realized that she had evolved from a Chikorita to a Bayleef. That slightly impressed him, but he did not let it show.
Thorn grew excited once they entered the classroom, for he had seen Alice. This was going to be great! He was so happy they were taking Pokemon Psychology again and that his trainer had allowed him to come. He must have been behaving pretty well; that made him even happier. "Alice!" he cried as he ran over to her. Upon closer look, though, he suddenly skidded to a halt. To everyone else, he looked thoroughly confused because that was just how he felt as he glanced up at Alice. Yes, he was glancing up at her, for she was now a good two feet taller than him! "Um...uh...Alice?" he asked, unsure of what to say. The last time he saw her, she was the same size as him. Did she use the move Growth or eat some special growth potion or berry or something?

Zoey was excited for her Pokemon Psychology class to begin. She had really enjoyed the class last semester, so she couldn't wait to see what she would learn in the Level II class. Her Mudkip, Flower, sat comfortably on her shoulder. She never knew which Pokemon to take to which class, but this one had been particularly easy; she thought maybe bringing Flower to her psychology class would give her some insight into her behavior around Waffles, her Chimchar. Usually a calm, very friendly Mudkip who rarely got angry, she would always freak out around Waffles and attack or act meanly towards him. Nate, a student she knew who wanted to be a breeder, had suggested that maybe she acted that way because she had the type advantage.
That was a plausible idea, but she was not so sure that was it. She wanted to test that idea, though, by having Flower meet other fire types. When she entered the classroom, she eagerly looked around to find such Pokemon, but there was none. Only a dragon, two grass, and... Whoa... What was that? Her eyes caught a circular Pokemon that was floating by a boy, who she recognized as Nate. "Hi, Nate," she greeted him as she approached him. "What is that?" she asked with curiosity. She bent down to get a closer look as she whipped out her Pokedex. "Solosis, the Cell Pokémon. A membrane filled with fluid surrounds Solosis's body which allows it to live anywhere. It defeats its enemies using its formidable Psychic-type powers." Zoey looked at the Solosis with great curiosity. "Cool." So, it was a psychic Pokemon. She had a newborn one too.

Miss Riverton smiled and greeted everyone as they came in. When the flow of students began to die down and then fade, she figured it was time to start class. She looked around at all of the students before speaking. "Hello, class. My name is Miss Riverton, as most of you already know. This is my partner, Sport. We'll start class with attendance." She looked down at her sheet of paper and began to call out names. "Nate Kerston... Luigi Salcedo... Kiki Jones... Paul Gruff... Zoey Clowes... Yami Hateshiginai..." She noted that one student was currently absent.
She looked back up at the class again. It was time to get to business. "Alright, everyone. Seeing as this is a Psychology Level II class, I'm sure most of you know most of the other students here, but I think introductions will still be good. I would like you to tell us your name, your Pokemon's, and a simple statement as to what intrigued you from the level one class that made you take the next level." She waited patiently for someone to raise their hand or speak.

Alice turned her head when she heard someone coming towards her. She immediately brightened upon seeing Thorn. While she was excited to see him again, she too noticed something different about them. She had evolved and Thorn had not, so she taller than him. This was going to be interesting. It was nothing that could come between their friendship, though. They would find a way to deal with it. <Hi, Thorn,> she greeted him. <I evolved into a Bayleef, and I'm much stronger now! She should evolve too.> That would make everything much better.
Kiki smiled as she watched Alice and Thorn interact. She wondered how close Thorn was to evolving. Knowing Paul, he had been training him hard, so it would probably be soon. She glanced at the Turtwig's trainer but did not say anything. usually she would not bother with someone like him, but for the sake of her Pokemon, she decided to try to have a civil relationship with him. She turned her attention forward when the teacher began to speak. Seeing as no one else was volunteering, she decided to go first. "Hi. I'm Kiki Jones. This is my Bayleef, Alice. I find it fascinating to try to look into Pokemon's minds and understand them so we can become closer." While she was surprised Paul had continued to take the class, she hoped that maybe the advanced level would finally cause something good to stick in his stubborn head. OOC: XD Silly Thorn.

Nate looked over when he heard someone say his name. He smiled upon recognizing Zoey. "Hello, Zoey." He also recognized the Mudkip as Flower, her starter. "Hi, Flower." Echo floated near him and watched the newcomers curiously. Nate opened his mouth to explain about the Solosis, but Zoey's Pokedex got to it first. He was quite an unusual Pokemon. "His name is Echo. I recently hatched him from an egg. Thanks, he is pretty awesome." And he could not wait to raise him to be a great Pokemon. After Kiki gave her introduction, he spoke up. "I'm Nate Kerston, and this is my baby Solosis, Echo. I found the first level of this class very good for my quest to become a Pokemon breeder, so I thought this class would be the same." He would use any resource he could to achieve his dream.

Miss Riverton listened to the introductions. Then she handed out the syllabus. She follwoed by starting the first lecture. Time cut her off, so she let everyone go free. OOC: This class is ober. Luigi has been dropped and cannot receive credit for it.
