Gaile sat down on a pool chair, settings his belongings behind him. His Pidgey perched atop the seat, taking in its surroundings cheerfully. He hadn't really planned on swimming; he didn't know how, anyway; but he had wore his swimming shorts anyway. Noticing the girl in the water, he unwittingly stared at her for an uncomfortably, staring into space. He jumped and squeaked fearfully as she turned around , accidentally making eye contact. Knowing he should, but not knowing how to greet her, he simply stared at her, petrified. His Pokemon suddenly landed on his shoulder, causing him to yelp loudly in surprise and fall clumsily out of the chair, crashing painfully on the ground. <Are you alright!? What's wrong!?> she said worriedly, despite knowing he couldn't understand her. |

Ayame turned her head in the direction of the pool that had a row of recliner chairs. One had a purple haired boy and his Pidgey, she had never seen a Pidgey before and the trainer was to be a new addition to Team Sinnoh. Naturally, she is very competitive and was psyched whenever a new person join the team. Usually, she wouldn't go meet them, but he was put in her dorm. They even met without trying. One might ask how she even knew what he looked like or even when he transferred...
Well...
Don't ask.
She couldn't really help but stare at him for a while, but when he visible had a panic attack because of that, people started to notice.
People giggled at his girly yelp, and Ayame slightly blushed, and turned away and waded to the deep end of the pool.

Clutching his side, Gaile attempted to lift himself to his feet, making it halfway before successfully slipping on the wet ground and landing face-first on the ground. Raising himself to his knees, he clamped his hands to his face, quivering.
Upon his starter's even more panicked reaction, he removed his hands from his face and whispered shakily, "I-I'm alright."
Glancing back to where the girl had been, he glanced around to find thay she had deeper end of the pool. Lifting himself back onto he chair, he absentmindedly stroked his pokemon as he found himself staring at the blue-haired trainer again.

Ayame arose from the pool with a splash, her hair floating in the water. She stroked her hand across it.
Ewwww.
It was slimy. She turned back around to the purple haired boy, he was staring at her now. How awkward! Ayame wondered if he had taken notice and was eyeing her down, which he probably wasn't. Still though, it sparked curiosity in her. Also, since she did like making new students squirm a bit, she swam closer to him. She promptly gave him the death stare, like she knew that he was guilty of something. |

As she turned around, Gaile snapped back to reality and made a strange, startled sound, his pupils shrinking in fear as they made eye contact. He subconsciously clutched his Pidgey to his chest, much to the small bird's confusion. She looked angry, had he done something wrong? Was he bothering her? What was he doing to have that effect? Would she ever forgive him? She looked almost accusatory, had he messed something of her's up without realizing it? Or something else?
Gaile squeezed his eyes shut momentarily, bringing a forceful end to the chaotic train of thought; but upon reluctantly opening them again, he only found himself more terrified of her glare.

Ayame chucked and released the glare, running her hands through the inside of her mat of hair. "So you're the new member of Team Sinnoh, aren't you? You made the right choice, picking one of the largest and strongest teams." She smiled, in a slightly sadistic way.
Ayame twirled her hair in her finger.
"I'm well known around here. And lucky you, you get to move into my dorm."
She made a look on her face that showed that she enjoyed the conversation.

"I-I-I... uh..." Gaile found himself unable to do anything stutter meaningless syllables, staring at her sadistic expression with pure fright. Several seconds passed as his spinning head attempted to make sense of what she had said. "U-um... th-th-thank you?"
He blinked rapidly as he attempted to formulate an acceptable reply out of the mess of frenzied thoughts that ran through his head. "...Y-your d-dorm... O-oh! U-um, i-it's an honor, miss!" he managed to fumble out.
