In all her excitement and getting ready for class Miss Riverton had been tardy herself. Oops, well not by much only a minute or two. Surely the students would understand the busy life of a teacher, after all as a level two class this wouldn't be their first time with her. In any case the reason for her being behind was she was training in front of the school with her Tyrogue and they lost track of time. Happens to everyone it would seem. Reaching the classroom she looked at the door before she opened it and went inside with her pokemon right behind her. "My apologize class, running a bit behind." She said as she put her bag on the desk and quickly pulled out a folder with some papers in it. Looking through it she read it as she then turned to write her name on the board. Under her name she left a space then wrote the names of the students on the list in her hands. Clearly Miss Riverton had something plan. Now all that was left was for the last of the students to arrive and take their seat so that class my begin.

Kiki headed to her next class with a new Pokemon by her side. She had not had much of a chance to train Ella, her shiny Eevee she had gotten at the beginning of the previous semester, so she thought she would bring her to her battling class. She remembered pairing off to battle with the other students in the previous level of this class, so something similar was probably going to take place. She entered to find that she was the only one in the room. She hoped the teacher would not be late, though it would be understandable. They did lead hectic lives. She found a seat in the front and busied herself with getting ready for class while Ella sat beside her on the floor and looked around in curiosity.

Sawyer had a new Tepig, and she had named him Milton. She was excited to finally have another fire type. She was so busy trying to get to know him that she almost forgot about her class. The two of them raced down the hall in an attempt to make it on time. She skidded to a halt upon reaching the door. "Well, here it is," she said to her Pokemon. "I'm sure you'll learn a lot." She opened the door, and the two of them stepped inside. Thankfully, it looked like the teacher was just arriving. She immediately headed towards the back with Milton. The Tepig happily sat down and waited for the excitement to begin.

Private the Farfetch'd flew beside Paul as he made is way to Battling Techniques. This was the class he particularly found very useful and interesting. The class he had taken last semester had helped him in figuring out some new techniques when it came to his battle training and battles in general. Each trainer eventually had their own battling style; he was trying to figure out his. When he reached the classroom, he entered and nodded in greeting to Miss Riverton.
Before he could look for a seat, his eyes caught the board at the front of the room. Battle buddies? He barely had time to process and think about that, for he then saw he was being paired up with Gary Oak. He smirked. They had battled each other in this class last semester, and Paul had won so easily. This would be good. He just hoped he would be more of a challenge this time; he hated winning battles after just one move. Seeing as Gary was no where to be found, he found a free chair in the back and sat down. Private landed on the desk and settled down, focusing himself for the battle to come.

Gary was running late to class. He had been in a heated battle session when he realized he had to go. He took one of the Pokemon he had been training - Scout the Farfetch'd - with him. Scout loved to battle, so battling Techniques seemed to be a great class for him. Gary had enjoyed the previous class he had taken, and he waslooking forward to delving even further into the details of the topic. The bird's talcons clung to his shoulder as they made their way down the hall. He slowed down upon reaching the classroom. Stepping inside, he was relieved to see that class had not started yet. He glanced at the board, noticing the pairings. Paul, huh? He had battled him in the previous battle techniques class, but he had lost because his Pokemon was at a much lower level than Paul's. He wanted a fair battle, so he hoped this one would be much better.
Scout noticed Private immediately, and he took off to confront the other Farfetch'd. He landed on the desk right next to Paul. He did not say anything to Private, but his glare conveyed a challenge. Gary was surprised to see that Paul had a Fafetch'd as well. This was going to be interesting. He jogged to the back of the room to take the seat Scout had chosen. "Hello, Paul," he said with a smirk as he sat down. "I mean, battle buddy. This is going to be great, don't you think?" He rested his hands behind his head and leaned back in his seat, appearing perfectly relaxed. OOC: Gary v. Paul ftw!

Chelsea the Shinx led the way to Battle Techniques Level II. She had been immediately interested when her trainer suggested she go to this class. She loved battling, and she was ready to take on any challenge that came her way. Unfortunately, she did not have a great sense of direction, so she had gotten them lost inside the building. She paused at the end of a hallway and looked both ways, unsure of which way to go. "How about you let me take the lead?" Nate said with a gentle smile. Chelsea hesitated before stepping back to let him go ahead. The boy soon found the correct classroom and opened the door for both of them to enter.
The Shinx bounded in the room and looked around. There were a lot of cool Pokemon around. The shiny Eevee caught her attention, so she headed in that direction. She stopped a the seat next to her and sat down in front of her> <Hello,> she greeted.
Nate chuckled lightly at his Pokemon's actions. He knew the Eevee's trainer, so he had no problem going over and taking the seat next to her. "Hello, Kiki," he said with a small nod.

Once class began, Miss Riverton called attendence and then handed out the syllabus. After a brief introduction of the class, she had everyone pair off and battle. She concluded the class by giving her observations of the battles. OOC: This class is over. Serah has dropped it and cannot receive credit for it. For everyone who showed up to class, you may raise the level of the Pokemon you brought by one.
