Brock after a long trip finally makes it to the forest. Alongside him is his trusty Torkoal named Frankie.  Species: Torkoal Type: Fire Name: Frankie Gender: Male Level: 5 Attacks: Ember, Smog Abilities: White Smoke, Shell Armor Nature: The shy type,gets better after a while of being around someone,surprisingly a good cook. Brock looks in his backpack and says to himself "Well, I got one Pokeball,let's see what I can do with this bad boy". He continues to walk deep into the woods feeling almost hopeless when suddenly. |

An Oddish happily skipped through the forest, unafraid and oblivious to anything around her. There were some fellow grass types that said 'hello' to her, and she called out a friendly greeting back. She loved taking strolls through the forest. It was fun to explore and see what nature had in store. She also really liked all of the different kinds of plants around. They were all so fascinating and always made her happy. If she was ever having a bad day, all she had to do was walk around the forest and smell a flower or simply observe a plant. Then, she was happy again.
Since she was skipping without bothering to look where she was going, she didn't care where she was as long as she was around plants, it was no surprise when she collided with Brock's Torkoal. <Oof!> she exclaimed quietly as she fell backwards on the forest floor. She hopped back to her feet and took in the trainer and Pokemon before her. <Hello!> she said happily. She wanted to continue skipping through the forest, but it was rude to just leave when she bumped into them! So, she gazed up at them, and politely asked, <How are you today? What are your names?> She smiled warmly as she waited for their response.  Oddish Level: 6 Attacks: Absorb, Sweet Scent Abilities: Chlorophyll, Run Away Hit By: Used: Health: High Green |

Brock smiles with glee seeing the Pokemon revealed before him "an Oddish sweet". He walks up to the cute little creature and gets on his knee's petting it's grass weirdly. "I've always wanted an Oddish, I'm sorry let me introduce myself. My name's Brock I'm a Pokemon trainer, this here besides me is Frankie. We're doing good,we seem to have a problem though ma'am, I want you as one of my Pokemon".
He looks at the cute little creature with a serious face now, Brock then pulls a Pokeball out of his backpack looking at her still. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way. You can come into here with ease or I can catch you by force. What is it? I also would like to say that I'm not a mean guy you're actually a cute little Pokemon". He smiles looking at her still. "But, my dream is to be the very best Pokemon trainer and you're exactly what i'm looking for".

The Oddish listened attentively to what Brock said. A trainer, huh? She heard they took good care of Pokemon. They battled other Pokemon, though, and she wasn't sure how she felt about that. Plus, she loved living in the forest. Maybe this trainer would allow her to spend time around plants and flowers, though. With ease or by force? Hmm... If she battled Frankie, then she would have a better idea of what it would be like. That sounded like a good idea! She grinned. <You can have your Torkoal battle me first. Either way, I'll probably end up coming with you, but I want to see what battling is like first.> She looked at Frankie and smiled at him. Frankie stepped forward and said in confidence "I'm ready, oh yeah Brock has potions in his bag just as a back up in case one of us gets really hurt. I know you can take care of yourself,I assume it'll be fine, I think you'll like Brock's garden. Let's get to battling I seem to of got my mind off track". Frankie wheezed and big black clouds of smoke came out of his mouth filling the air. Level: 5 Attacks: Ember, Smog Abilities: White Smoke, Shell Armor Hit By: Used: smog Health: high green |

The Oddish smiled when Frankie mentioned a garden. He had a garden? That was perfect! Everything was going to be alright. She blinked as smog began to fill the air. What was this? <Ouch!> she exclaimed when she felt pain from it. After a moment, though, she felt fine. Hmm... This smog was filthy! Sweet Scent would take care of it. She smiled as she let off her sweet scent towards the Torkoal. It smelled great, and it also decreased the other's evasiveness. It wasn't an attack move, though. That wouldn't do. She only had one other move, so she would have to use that. Green light things came out of her and moved to attach to Frankie. They would take away some of his energy and then give half of that back to her. <I'm sorry for stealing your energy,> she said with a small frown. Oddish Level: 6 Attacks: Absorb, Sweet Scent Abilities: Chlorophyll, Run Away Hit By: Smog Used: Sweet Scent, Absorb Health: High Green OOC: So, when we gave out Torkoal, we didn't look at the most current Pokedex for the moves. It turns out Torkoal actually knows Inferno, Heat Wave, Protect, Flail, and Shell Smash in addition to what you already have. |

Frankie grunted feeling the energy being taken out of his body. He smirked trying not to get mad about out smarted "Don't be sad, that was a good move" His black shell's red hole's begin to turn brighter, a line of fire shoots out of his mouth heading towards the Oddish. The Oddish's eyes widened when Ember flew towards her. <Ow!> That did not feel good at all! It felt worse than that Smog. Absorb made her feel good, so she took away some energy from Frankie again. This time it didn't feel as refreshing as before because the Ember had caused more damage. Oh, well. Maybe she could dodge it next time!

Frankie groaned again having energy taking out of him again. "That hurts a lot more than you think, good job" Frankie turns his head to see Brock with a Pokeball in his hand still "Brock, she's not ready yet". Frankie inhales and exhales one more shooting out clouds of dark smoke trying to blind the Oddish Level: 5 Attacks: Ember, Smog Abilities: White Smoke, Shell Armor Hit By: Absorb Used: smog Health: high yellow |

The Oddish smiled. This was actually a little fun. Smog once again rushed towards her, and she couldn't see a thing. It was just awful stuff. The only thing she could do was sent some more Sweet Scent at the Torkoal. Even after that, the smog still remained, so she tried to find her way out of it. <I'm sorry, but I really don't like that smog of yours.> That was the point, though.

Brock then rushes into the smoke picking up the Oddish carrying her out of it quickly. He then looks into the Oddish's eye's looking worried. "A-Are you okay? I can't afford for one of my Pokemon to get hurt". Brock couldn't help but smile his face then got serious "Y-You're going to have to go into this Pokeball. Only once though." He smiles awaiting her response holding the Pokeball by her face.

The Oddish blinked, trying to get the smog out of her eyes. <I'm fine,> she said softly to Brock. When she could see, she glanced at the Pokeball and then back at him. Did she want to join him? He seemed friendly and caring. Plus, he had a garden. <Alright,> she said with a smile. Then, she willingly went into the Pokeball.
