(OPEN) The Future Has Arrived

Eve had left Principal Sash's office with her starter pack hung over one shoulder and the grips of her bike in her hands, tucking her Pokeball safely into a special pouch on her vest, or rather, the top one of six for storing Pokeballs. For the time being, she figured she'd see how the vest fared for her when it came to transporting her Pokemon, but had the feeling she'd be exploring other options in Shupert City's market district sometime in the near future. For now, though, she was content, as it was only her first day.
So as soon as shed left the building and let Principal Sash to her business, she swung her leg over the frame of her bike and kicked off. Taking at a leisurely pace toward Shupert City to explore. She didn't know where she was headed, but it wasn't as if she was off into the wilderness... Or was she? She soon found herself in the park, and at that point she passed an open bench along the winding path, finding some apple trees along the edge of the road, and slowly came to a stop, parking her bike off the edge of the road in the grass and stepping off the side a few steps to sit back against a tree and investigate the contents of her bag. "It's such a beautiful day," she said to herself, not caring if anyone saw or made fun of her for supposedly talking to herself. It was at that point she'd decided to call forth her Igglybuff, so they could hopefully bond, get to know one another, and so she could think of a name for the playful, bouncy pink Pokemon.

Faith had been enjoying a nice day in the park with her partner, Willy. She knew that being a Pokemon trainer was not all about training and battles; she had to have fun as well! Her Bidoof seemed happy to comply with the fun and games. The two of them had been chasing each other around the park, stopping to enjoy some berries they had uncovered. Faith had only been at the academy for a semester, but already she had come so far. In fact, she had just won her first contest ribbon! Her mother had been very proud. All of her battles had been close, though, so she knew she would have to train hard if she wanted to win again.
For now, she was content with playing with Willy. After rolling around and running around with each other a bit more, they decided to take a break. Faith noticed a bench and headed in that direction, her Bidoof walking happily beside her. She was about to sit down when she heard some speak nearby. She turned her head to see a girl she did not recognize leaning against a tree. "It sure is," she said lightly in response to her comment, not caring that it had not been directed at her. She loved making friends, and she would talk to anyone she came across. Willy looked curiously at the pink Pokemon that suddenly appeared.

Walking around the park there was a shiny charizard, which was acting a little cautious at that moment. He did not want to be put in a tiny ball at all. It was Drakan, and he was enjoying the warm weather and the sun. He saw two trainers in the distance, with young Pokémon by their sides, and decided to check it out. They didn't seem that aggressive. He calmly, but carefully walked a bit closer, trying to look friendly. Which was hard, being the large vicious looking charizard he was. He stopped walking when he was 3 meters away from the two trainers and their Pokémon, and gave a slight smile. He watched them curiously, as he cocked his head slightly to the side.

Eve had barely even realized anyone was around to hear her when she had spoken those five simple words, but it was indeed the case that the weather was beautiful, and her Igglybuff tended to agree as she appeared, popping out of her Pokeball with her typical cheerful jubilation, soon followed by a peaceful, serene sort of relaxation nature. And that's when she realized someone had heard her, a girl whom she did not recognize. And she had responded. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize there was anyone around. I sorta phased out for a few minutes there. But it is quite nice out... Are you a student at the academy too?" she figured school was the easiest topic of conversation that could be made. But before she could say anything more, a third strange creature appeared.
It was a shiny Charizard, the final evolution of a fire Pokemon she'd encountered several times back at home, but this one was different. He seemed bolder, more dangerous, and quite honestly more intimidating. The creature was approaching, but appeared to at least be trying not to be scary. Still, Eve wasn't quite as comfortable about this, and held her hand up before the Igglybuff at her side, covering the serene creature... Whom she would call Serenity... From potential danger. "Um..." She had no idea what to say.

Faith simply smiled when the girl apologized. "It's fine. Sometimes I talk out loud too." It often helped her to think through something if she said it out loud. She also had the habit of talking to the air because keeping it in her head seemed too confining. "Yes, I'm a student. I'm in Team Hoenn." Before she could ask the girl which team she was in, she had turned away. Faith followed her gaze to the Charizard that was standing near them. She blinked several times to make sure she was not seeing things. The Pokemon did not look threatening, but was it normal for them to be out there like this? She decided the best thing she could do was to be friendly. "Uh... Hello. How are you doing today?"
Willy, however, felt more threatened by the situation. He stood protectively in front of his training, growling at the Charizard with his hackles raised. <What do you want?> He did not care that the fire type was more experienced than he; if he had to fight, he would fight!

Drakan made a slight humming noise, trying to sound friendly. He liked the attitude of these trainers. What he didn't like, however, was willy's attitude. <You have a problem, tiny Bidoof?> He asked, as he looked angrily at the tiny thing, before turning back to the two trainers, which made him stop looking angrily. He made a slight wave, before smiling.

Good, she wasn't the only one who talked to herself sometimes. Or well, talked out loud with no real person to be speaking to. It wasn't really something she could explain... Team Hoenn, huh? So she was a student with a different allegiance than her own; part of her wondered what these teams meant, while the rest of her figured it didn't have much meaning. "Oh, awesome! I'm in Team Kanto. I'm Eve. Eve Sosia." From her spot on the ground, she offered a hand as if to shake, all but ignoring for a brief moment the dark-colored dragon-like creature approaching.
As Eve did address Drakan, however, it was a mixture of fear and concern and even curiosity that coarser through her veins. It... Waved, and then even smiled, it seemed. "Um... Hello?"

"My name's Faith Donnellon," said the girl. She took Eve's hand and shook it. "It's nice to meet you, Eve. How long have you been at the school?" She had never seen her around, so maybe she was new. It was the start of a new semester after all. She glanced at the Charizard again, frowning at her Bidoof's reaction. Her little friend was always too quick to jump to conclusions, though she appreciated his protective nature. "It's alright, Willy. He won't hurt us." She bent down and stroked his head. Then she offered the Charizard a small smile. "Sorry about him. You don't seem bad." If he had meant them harm, he would have done something already.
Willy calmed at his trainer's words and actions. Fine, he would be good. He relaxed his fur, but he still looked at the Charizard suspicously. <I'm watching you.> If he made any sudden movement, he would be ready.

Drakan replied with a small humming noise, before turning to the bidoof. <I'd be keeping an eye on you, if you weren't so tiny that its almost impossible to see you, tiny bidoof.> He then sat on the ground in a quick motion, and yawned.

(So sorry for the delay!)
Eve watched as her Igglybuff interacted with the other Pokemon, almost so distracted to the point where she only vaguely recognized that she'd been asked a question. "It's my first semester here, actually. I just got Serah, my little pink partner here, earlier today actually. What about you? How long have you been a student here? Is it really as nice here as I've heard?" She was curious, because as prestigious as the school was, she hadn't even started her classes yet, so there was no real way for her to know whether it was as great as everyone made it out to be.
Mean while, Serah seemed to be sitting by, curiously watching as the Charizard and the Bidoof argued. The Igglybuff was a little afraid of getting on the dragon-like Pokemon's bad side, but she seemed to appreciate the littler creature's bravery to defend its trainer from a potential threat like it was.

OOC: It's alright. Faith listened to the other girl attentively. It was her first day here? That was pretty cool. She wondered if she was nervous or excited. Probably a little bit of both. She would be happy to share information with her, which she had appreciated when she was in her position. "I've been here since June. It has not been that long, but I've already had some great experiences, including winning a contest ribbon!" she grinned at the memory. There was so much to look forward to at a place like this that she was unsure of where to start. "It is really nice here. The classes are fun and informative, and it's great getting to know the other students and their Pokemon." Every day was like a new adventure.
Willy narrowed his eyes at the Charizard. It did not look like he would cause them any harm, but he was not about to let his guard down. He spared a glance at the Igglybuff. <Have you ever seen anything like that before?> It was odd for such a large Pokemon to be out in the open like this.
