Mr. Winston loved teaching class. Pokemon history was perhaps his favorite class to teach. Who did not love learning about the great legends of the past and how we had come to the world we are in today? Upper level classes were always better because the students seemed to enjoy history more. He did not want to let them down, so he had a great introductory lesson planned for today. He whistled as he entered the room. His Baltoy, Topper, rolled in after him. While his companion explored the room, the teacher sat down and organized his files. After he was finished, he pulled out his enrollment sheet and looked at the students who were blessed enough to be in his class today: Kiki Jones, Gary Oak, Sawyer Fylan, Faith Donnellon, Éclair Kakihara, and Paul Gruff. Very excellent. He could not wait to begin!

Sawyer was not a huge history fan, but she understood its importance. Besides, she found that upper level classes tended to be more interesting than introductory classes. She hoped the same would hold true for history. She just wished Mr. Winston was a more exciting teacher. She decided to bring her mild-mannered Tepig, Milton, to this class. She held him in her arms as she entered the room. She gave a brief nod to the teacher before heading to the back where she would nto be noticed. She was not up for being called on today. She set Milton on top of her desk to have some fun while she dug through her bag for a notebook and pencil.

Kiki walked down the hall with her shiny Eevee, Ella by her side. She thought this was the Pokemon who would most enjoy a history class. She did not mind history too much herself. She found Mr. Winston quite intriguing, especially when he wiggled his mustache, and she liked his Baltoy. Still, it was not her favorite class. She only took it because she needed a class to take in order to graduate. "Hello," she said to Mr. Winston as she entered the classroom. She turned to see who else had arrived. She recognized the only girl in the room from the tournament battle the two of them had. She figured now was a good time to get to know her better, so she strolled over and stopped on front of her desk. "Hi. I don't believe we've ever formally met. I'm Kiki." She held out her hand.
Ella climbed onto Sawyer's desk so that she was standing next to the Tepig. <Hello there!>

Gary walked briskly down the hall as he made his way to his history class. His Darumaka, Jolly, jogged by his side. The two of them had just completed a work out, and now they were all pumped up for class. The trainer figured he would enjoy learning more if he had endorphins running through his body. It was worth a try at least. Jolly was always happy, and he eagerly agreed to accompany his trainer to the class. They slowed down when they reached the room. "Hello, everyone," Gary said loudly as he entered. He scanned the room, trying to decide where to sit. He went for a chair in the middle on the right near the window. Jolly hopped onto the chair next of him and looked around.

Faith was headed to her first class of the semester: Pokemon History Level II. She had actually enjoyed the first level of the class, so she was excited to continue her studies. She could hardly believe she had already completed one semester, and she already had her first contest ribbon! She missed her family dearly, but she was determined to make her proud by doing well in school. She was glad to have her partner, Willy the Bidoof, with her as they walked to class. The girl opened the classroom door and led the way inside. She could see she was not the first here. She headed for the boy near the window since he was the only one alone. She sat next to the Darumaka, while Willy stood in between the two desks. "Hi," she said to the boy. "I'm Faith."
Willy offered the Darumaka a friendly smile. <Hello. I'm Willy.>

Mr. Winston continued to keep watch over the clock so that he could start right on time. When class was to start, he cleared his throat and stood up. "Good morning, class," he said, his mustache wiggling in a funny way. "All of you should know me as Mr. Winston, and I should know all of you. However, for policy's sake, I will read your name, and you will say 'here.' Kiki Jones... Gary Oak... Sawyer Fylan... Faith Donnellon... Éclair Kakihara... and Paul Gruff..." He marked down that there were two students missing. He hoped they were merely tardy. "Now I would like all of you to go around and introduce yourself and your Pokemon and tell us your favorite legendary Pokemon. You know me and my Baltoy, Topper. My favorite legendary is Zapados." He sat down and waited for someone else to speak.

Paul walked quickly down the hall, his Farfetch'd flying right beside him. Unfortunately, he was late to class. This was due to his alarm clock not going off on time. He was not sure why. It was probably Thorn messing around again. He had now evolved into a Grotle, and he was still trouble. Paul was not sure what he was going to do with him. He finally reached the classroom for his history class. He opened it as quietly as possible and stepped inside. Private settled down on his shoulder. He did not want to interrupt, so he walked to the back of the classroom and sat down.

Gary smiled at the girl who sat next to him. "Hi. I'm Gary." She seemed familiar, but he could not place her. His Darmumaka gave her and her Pokemon a wave. Both of them looked up when Mr. Winston began to speak. He was a boring teacher, but sometimes he handed out useful information. Favorite legendary, huh? Hmm... Gary knew which to choose, so he decided to go first. "My name is Gary Oak. My Darumaka here is Jolly. My favorite legendary Pokemon is Mew." He smiled broadly at everyone. Could anyone do better than that? Jolly waved excitedly at all the trainers and Pokemon.

Sawyer looked up when someone talked to her. She recognized the girl from a past tournament, but they had never officially met. She gave her a small smile as she shook her hand. "Hi. I'm Sawyer Fylan. It's nice to meet you." Milton smiled at Kki and Ella in greeting. There was not much time to talk, for class soon began. Sawyer listened to a few people speak before deciding to give her introduction. "My name is Sawyer Fylan. This Tepig here is Milton. My favorite legendary Pokemon is Victini." She loved fire types, after all, and the Unova fire legendary was simply awesome.

Faith obediently listened to Mr. Winston talk. He was not a bad teacher, and his mustache was funny. She found his question quite interesting. Her favorite legendary Pokemon? Hmm... "I'm Faith Donnellon," she said once she had made up her mind. "This is Willy. My favorite legendary is Shaymin." She found it a bit odd that Shaymin was considered a legendary even though there was more than one of them. She wondered if they were capable of being caught with a master ball. If she could find one, that is.

Mr. Winston nodded as he listened to each student speak. He made check on his attendance sheet to see who had spoken. Soon, it was left to just one student. Wait... There was another student here now. "It looks like we just have Kiki and the young man over there. Paul, correct? We're introducing ourselves and giving our favorite legendary Pokemon." He corrected his attendance sheet to mark Paul as tardy instead of absent. Good. Now there was only one student missing. This class was going to be great. OOC: Eclair has been dropped from this class. She may no longer receive credit for it.

"It's nice to meet you," Kiki said to Faith. It looked like their Pokemon already got along. She smiled at them before looking up at the teacher. She tried to think about her favorite legendary as everyone else gave their answer. She was surprised when Mr. Winston pointed her out, and then he mentioned Paul. She instinctively turned her head around to look at the boy. When had he slipped in? Oh well. She turned forward again so that she could give her answer. "I'm Kiki Jones and this is Ella." She nodded at the Eevee on the desk next to her. "My favorite legendary is Jirachi." Se grew quiet as she waited for Paul to speak.

Paul listened as everyone introduced themselves. From their responses, he guessed as to what he was supposed to say, but he decided to wait a bit before taking his turn. He looked up at Mr. Winston when he spoke to him and Kiki. When he felt Kiki look at him, he glanced at her. They seemed to have a lot of classes together, which was probably due to the fact that this was a small school. Once she finished, it was his turn. "I'm Paul. This is Private, my Farfetch'd," he said, slightly gesturing to the bird on his shoulder. "My favorite legendary Pokemon is Darkrai." It was a dark type, which always intrigued him. There were a lot more characteristics that he liked about it. Plus, it seemed to be exceptionally strong in his mind.

"Great," Mr. Winston said after Kiki and Paul spoke. "Introductions are over, and we will move onto the syllabus." He handed out a stapled packet of papers to each student. After going over it, he gave a brief introduction to the class. Then he let everyone go home early. He thought that had gone quite well. History was so fun! OOC: This class is now over.
