Mr. Knight dashed down the hall, Frost right on his heels. He was going to be late! He had decided to take a nice nap and had lost track of time. He had only awoken because Frost had attacked him to get him up so that they could not be late for class. At this rate, he would arrive a couple of minutes before class was supposed to start. He always liked being early to class so that he could be there to greet all the students. Upon reaching the classroom, he found that the room was empty. He hoped they were all just running late to their first class as well, which was common, and had not left upon noting his absence. He quickly sat down at his desk and pulled out his enrollment sheet. Today, he had Gaile Cenn, Gary Oak, Sawyer Fylan, Nana Tachibana, and Eve Sosia. |

Eve had woken up a couple minutes later than she'd hoped to, but the bouncy, cheerful little Igglybuff finally made sure she was awake with about twenty minutes to get ready and head to class. She quickly got dressed, having showered the night before, and grabbed her bag, with all her Pokemon supplies in it, to head to class. Checking the separate little satchel she kept hung at her side that held the Pokeballs for her team, she opened it to assure she had everyone. One, two, three... Four. Good, everyone was ready to go, despite Serah being out of her Pokeball. So she set out for class.
Arriving at the right building, she found her classroom and peeked in; empty. So she turned and started to leave, having just turned a corner in the hallway immediately adjacent when she heard footsteps. Turning back around, she saw what looked to be a teacher, and he went into her classroom. She made her way to the doorway and poked her head back in. "Excuse me, is this Healing and Potions for Beginners? Or was that class cancelled and I just missed the memo?"

Mr. Knight looked up when he heard someone speaking. He smiled when he saw it was only a student asking about a class. "Yes, this is the beginner class. Come on in." He did not recognize her, so he guessed she was a new student, and this was probably her very first class. He could certainly understand her nervousness. He hoped he could help make her and all the other new students feel as comfortable as possible in their new environment. |

Oh, awesome, this was the right place, and she wasn't late. Or if she was, she wasn't as late as the entire rest of the class, it seemed. But that was part of having earlier classes, she supposed. "Thank you. My name- Uh, my name is Eve Sosia." She reached into the little Drawstring pouch she kept her Pokeballs in and released her Igglybuff, Serah. "Good news, Serah! We found the right class and we were almost on time!" The little pink ball of fluff jumped for joy at her handler's comment, and Eve turned to her professor. "Sorry I'm late, Professor. I'll go sit down now." And with that, Serenity and Eve made their way to one of the desks, and Eve sat down as Serah jumped up onto Eve's pack.

Gary walked down the hall with a Joltik on his shoulder and an egg in his arms. He had been given the egg from the school, and he was excited for it to hatch. June, the tiny Pokemon, watched curiously from her perch on his shoulder. The trainer entered the room and sat near the door so that he could set the egg in his lap. "Hello, Mr. Knight," he greeted the teacher. Then he looked over at the other student he did not recognize. "Hi there." He had just sat down when his egg began to shake. Eyes wide, he held onto it tightly while June hopped onto the desk to watch. OOC: His egg is hatching. I need a mod. |

Sawyer was headed to her final class of the semester: Healing and Potions. She was not all that interested in the class, but she had to take something to fulfill her credit requirements. Besides, it would likely help her to know the basics of medicine so she could help her Pokemon if they ever became injured or sick. She remembered what happened to Tammy, her Stunky. She wanted to avoid another situation like that if at all possible. She brought her partner Kopa along with her because he was not yet attending one of her classes. She hoped he would not find it too boring. They slipped inside the room and looked around. The girl decided to find a seat near the back, her Litleo right beside her. |

The egg glowed a bright light for a moment. Once it left, a baby Croagunk emerged. Mr. Knight nodded at the girl. "It's quite alright. No one else is here either." When this happened, he gave students five minutes to show up. It was only the first day of class, so he thought it was a good idea to cut them some slack. Sure enough, some more students soon piled in. He was surprised when, yet again, a student's egg hatched. "Congratulations, Mr. Oak. I know you will take good care of it." He paused to give the class a chance to settle down.
"It is time to take attendance. Please raise your hand when I call your name. Gaile Cenn... Gary Oak... Sawyer Fylan... Nana Tachibana... and Eve Sosia." Two students were missing, which was typical. "Now I want you to tell me your name, your Pokemon's name, and the main reason you're interested in this class. My name is Mr. Knight, that is Frost over there, and I teach this class because I enjoy taking care of Pokemon when they are sic or injured." He looked around to see who would speak next. |

Sawyer found it fascinating that a Pokemon hatched in the class. The world of Pokemon was certainly full of surprises! She found it hard to concentrate after that excitement, but she did manage to raise her hand when she heard her name called. She noticed no one speak up after Mr. Knight paused, so she figured she might as well go first. "Hi. I'm Sawyer, and this is my partner, Kopa." The Litleo puffed out his chest when he was mentioned. "I'm interested in this class because one of my Pokemon had a strange condition earlier, and I want to be able to help my Pokemon if they are ever hurt or sick." She remembered how helpless she had felt when she had not known what was wrong with her Stunky. Hopefully, this class would help prevent something like that from happening again. |

Gary stared at the baby Croagunk. He had heard of them before. If he was not mistaken, they were a poison and fighting type. He did not have a Pokemon of either of those types yet, so this would be great! "Welcome to the family," he said. "This is June." The Joltik looked at him and gave him a timid smile. The trainer thought for a second about a name. He had not given a Pokemon a human name yet, so he decided to do that now. "You will be Todd." He nodded in satisfaction. He quickly paid attention when Mr. Knight started class. He gave his introduction after Sawyer. "I'm Gary Oak. This is June and Todd. I am in this class because I want to be able to give my Pokemon basic care when they need it." That was part of being a responsible trainer, right? |

Mr. Knight nodded after each person spoke. Soon, there was only one student left to give her introduction. "You're up, Eve," he said. Once she finished speaking, he would handout the syllabus and give a brief introduction to the class. Then he was planning on letting everyone go early. OOC: Gaile and Nana have been dropped from this class. They may no longer receive credit for it. |
