The Foongus watched eagerly as Tessie took a picture of her trainer. This was going to be so fun! He laughed when he sat up and looked confused. His expression was priceless! Pranks sure were fun. For the Pichu's sake, he hoped he had a good sense of humor. He was too busy laughing to answer the question for the first 30 seconds. Then he took a deep breath and let it out slowly to calm himself. <W-we had f-fun,> he said between giggles. He turned to Tessie and grinned. <We make a good team!> He hoped they could be friends like this some more. It was great to relax and have a good time. <Don't you think it's funny?> He had to see the humor in this situation.

<Yeah, it's funny,> Tessie said, moving to stand beside the Foongus.
Zane frowned at them for a full minute before breaking out into a grin. "Ok, it was pretty hilarious." He laughed. "You got me good, guys." They sure were a couple of lively Pokemon. He was glad to see that his Pichu had a great sense of humor. "Well, I better go wash this off before anyone sees me with it." He paused as he glanced at the Foongus. "What are you going to do now?" They had been having so much fun together that it seemed like a shame to end it her.
<You could come with us,> Tessie suggested with a smile. She would love to have a teammate like him on board. They could pull even more pranks on her trainer! |

The Foongus was glad that Zane was not mad at them. It was fun to pull pranks! He saddened when the boy said he had to leave. Aw, he wanted to have some more good times. He did not want all of this to end. He frowned at the trainer's question. What was he going to do? He had no idea. He turned to the Picu. <Go with you?> Then he grinned. <That sounds great!> He would love to continue being friends with these two. But wait, weren't they forgetting something? <Shouldn't we battle?> Yes, that was hot things were done. He backed away and took a battle stance.

Zane smiled when he watched the Foongus' actions. He looked like he wanted to go with them. That was great! A battle was required first, of course. "Ok, Tessie, this will be our first battle." He hoped this would be a good one. He did not want to mess up in front of their new friend! "Use Thunder Shock!" He wanted to test his Pichu's electrical powers.
<Good luck,> Tessie said, smiling at the Foongus. This was going to be fun. She had never battled with her trainer before, and she was looking forward to this new experience. Ok, Thunder Shock. She could do that. She took in a deep breath and then released a weak bolt of electricity. The Foongus grew excited as the battle began. This was going to be fun! He almost wanted to lose so that he could go with them. However, he knew he had a duty to try his hardest. This had to be a fair battle. He wanted to remember it always! He took a battle stance and waited for the attack to come. The Thunder Shock did not hurt too much. In fact, it kind of tickled. He giggled. Now it was hit turn to attack. He released a ball of white energy that would take power from the Pichu and give it back to him.

Zane was disappointed that his Pichu's attack was not more powerful. Their opponent did not appear much better. This was going to be a long battle if this kept up. He had to try to figure something else up. "Use Tail Whip and then Thunder Shock!" Yes, that would do it!
Tessie wondered if her attack had worked. The Foongus did not look different. Her eyes followed the light until it sucked energy from her. Hey, that was no fun! She shook off her annoyance as she focused on her next move. She bent down low and moved her tail back and forth before letting loose more electricity. The Foongus felt relieved when he received energy back from the Pichu. His relief was short-lived, however, for the felt the effects of another Thunder Shock, and this one was stronger than the last. <Ow!> He decided to take this chance to grow himself so he would be even more powerful.

Zane thought the battle was going well so far. It was cool that the Foongus was able to grow like that. He thought for a second about what to do next. "Ok, use Thunder Shock and then Charm." Yes, that would do it!
<Ooo...> Tessie watched the Foongus in interest. She was sure they would be good friends! Right now, of course, she had to focus on the battle. She let loose another electric shock. Then she made a cute face and winked at her opponent in order to charm him. The Foongus felt another tickly Thunder Shock. This one seemed to hurt more for some reason. He did not have long to think about it. The Pichu suddenly appeared very cute. He smiled at her, not sure if he should attack. Then he remembered he had to battle and prepared to use Absorb.

Zane could see the effects of the Foongus' Growth. He definately wanted this Pokemon! "Keep it up," he said to his Pichu. "Now use Tail Whip and Thunder Shock!" He thought that was a great combination.
Tessie smirked when the Foongus fell for her. <I am pretty cute, aren't I?> She giggled. Her smile was wiped from her face when she felt more strength leave her. She needed to gain an advantage in this battle! She moved her tail back and forth and then released another electrical charge. The Foongus felt a strong electrical wave course through his body. He grunted as he absorbed the attack. That was powerful! It was admirable for such a tiny Pokemon. He had to prove he was worthy to battle her, but the only thing he could think to do was to use Absorb once more.

Zane was pleased by the way the battle was going. This was not bad for Tessie's first try! "Keep it up! Now use Thunder Shock and Tail Whip!" He was using the same moves over and over again, but so was their opponent. It would be enough.
Tessie shivered as the attack hit her. That sure was creepy. She hoped this battle would not go on much longer. She wanted the Foongus and her to be friends! She lifted her head high and released an electrical attack. Then she turned and flipped her tail back and forth. The Foongus shivered as the electrical attack struck him. He had to find away to get around those! <You're doing well,> he said. Would the tiny mouse battle well enough to win? They would find that out soon enough. He closed his eyes and used Absorb.

Zane held his breath as the Foongus attacked again. He was so close to victory. He could not wait to win his very first battle! He did not know much about strategy, so he decided to stick with simplicity right now. "Thunder Shock and Tail Whip!"
Tessie was growing really tired now. That Foognus was draining all of her energy. She knew she had to keep going for her trainer's sake! She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Then she let out her best Thunder Shock attack while moving her tail back and forth. The Foongus was growing weary. He did not know how much harder he could fight. Should he just give up and go with them? No, that would violate his honor as a Pokemon He had to keep going until the end. he braced himself as the electric attack hit, and then he used another Absorb attack.
