Zane could tell that he was close to winning. He just had to keep this up a little longer. This was what being a Pokemon trainer was about! "Ok, Tessie, Thunder Shock!"
Tessie tensed as energy left her body. Then she smiled at the Foongus. <You're doing a good job.> It was going to be fun to have him on their team. For now, she would focus on battling. The Foongus felt the effects of the last Thunder Shock more strongly than he had the others. He could feel that this was it. He smiled faintly before drifting off into unconsciousness. Zane blinked when he did not see the Foongus move. Had he done it? Had he won? Tessie spun around and grinned at him. Then her trainer smiled back. "Yes, we did it! Now to catch him." He took out an empty Pokeball and studied the Foongus. Then he tossed the ball in his direction. He was about to catch his first Pokemon![/blcokquote]

The Pokeball hit the Foongus and sucked him inside. It shook twice before becoming still. Pichu has gained two levels!

Zane smiled as he walked over to the Pokeball and picked it up. "It looks like we have a new friend." Tessie cheered. Then she climbed up her trainer's leg and rested on his shoulder. He was tired! Zane deicded it was time to go back to his dorm and rest. He could search for more Pokemon later. Today had been a good day. OOC: Finished |
