Onatrux enters the Principal's Office sluggishly, sitting down in front of the desk. "You wanted to see me?" He says, sounding slightly uninterested.

Principal Sash had organized a meeting with a new student so that he could receive his first Pokemon. Since it was the start of a new semester, Vice Principal Turner had suggested signing up students to receive their first Pokemon to make everything flow better. So far, it was working well. She smiled at the boy sitting before her now. He did not seem too excited, but maybe he was just nervous. "I wanted to welcome you to Cherilli Academy," she said. "I'm Principal Sash, and I will be giving you everything you need to start off right. First, I will need you to fill out this personality test." She picked up a sheet of paper and held it out to him along with a pen. |

Principal Sash took the paper back from the boy when he finished. Her eyes scanned the answers, and she immediately came up with ideas. "I'll be back in a second." She got up and moved to the storage area behind her desk. She rummaged around for a bit before picking out three Pokeballs. She soon returned to her desk. "Now, I will show you three Pokemon, and you may choose one of them." She released each one for him to get a good look at. This was the best part! |

As the Principal released the pokemon, Onatrux held out hope for a steel type, but was disappointed. The Sandshrew looked like the best choice, so he walked over and started petting it to see how it would respond. Thankful its reponse was positive, rubbing its head against Onatrux's hand and sounding very excited to meet Onatrux. "I will pick this one" Onatrux said, sounding like he was trying to contain his excitement.

Principal Sash smiled at the Sandshrew's interaction with the boy. She could tell they were going to get along great. "Excellent. Here is its Pokeball. And I just have a few more things for you." After giving him the Pokeball, she returned the other two Pokemon and brought them back to the storage room. She returned with a backpack, which she held out to the new student. "This has everything you will need to get started. You are now free to go. Good luck in school!" She hoped he would do well. "Thank you, Principal. I will take good care of him. Hmm... you need a name. How about Alex? Do you like that name?" The Sandshrew smiled and called out happily "Shreew sandshrew!" This caused Onatrux to smile very wide. Now it was time to train. "Come on Alex, let's go train!" "Shrew!!" With that, Onatrux picked up Alex and walks out of the office, off to go train.
