Principal Sash was right about this battle. It was as exciting as all the others. She was impressed with the Litleo's strength and endurance. He had almost defeated a water type twice his size! In the end, the Wartortle pulled though. She had seen Gary in the tournament several times in the past, so she was glad he had finally won it all. "Kopa is unable to battle," she said from her seat. "Skipper is the winner, and victory goes to Gary from Kanto!" She stood up and walked onto the battlefield with Maya by her side. "Good job, both of you, and congratulations, Gary." She turned to the crowd with a smile. "Please give it up for our victor, Gary!" Everyone broke out into applause. "Everyone in Kanto will receive prizes as an incentive for everyone to try their hardest next semester. I'll see you in the spring!" She felt good about calling this tournament a success.
