The young man strolled towards the pond with Harper in toe. Today he wanted to battle and train with his pokemon. Hopefully today they will also gain some type of water pokemon for their team as well. If they did then their team would be more balanced, and better prepared for when they went on their big bug hunt. Theo was looking forward to that trip, but with Harper being a grass type wasn't sure she was ready just yet. The teen had a plan, and with the pokemon he catches on that trip that was soon to come he would challenge Jenna. That way it would be bug on bug, a real challenge and hopefully treat for him and anyone who decided to watch the battle. However, that was still to come. Currently he moved forward only to stop at the water's edge. Smiling he looked down at Harper who smirked and looked away from her trainer out towards the pond. "Alright Harper use your grace and go to that boulder. Use the rocks that are sticking out of the pond to get over there." Theodore said as he pointed to a boulder in the middle of the pond. Harper nodded and jumped onto the first rock thinking this was going to be easy. However, she fell off the first one and went into the water. "It is alright try again." The boy called out as he pokemon looked at him like he did something to make her slip. Which he hadn't. "Come on." He cooed and watched as his pokemon got up and jumped on the rock. Finding her balance was hard as there was only room for one of her feet on the rock. Once Harper found her balance she jumped over to the next rock and wiggled around for a few minutes as she found her balance again. This went on for three more rocks before she finally landed on the boulder in the middle. "Good job, very nicely done." Theo said clapping for her as the pokemon took a bow. "Now come back." That command made Harper slip and almost fall into the water. "Snivy snivy snivy?!" She called, or in her words. <What? But I just got over here. All that work for nothing?!> The pokemon didn't really understand why Theo was even having her work on her balance. Yet because it was him who told her to, Harper just sighed and came back the same way she had came from. Hopping from on rock to the next. The grass pokemon almost lost her balance and fall in a few times, but she was able to keep herself from going in.

A Qwilfish lived in the pond, and he had gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today. All of the other water Pokemon living in the pond knew to avoid him when this happened. If he was left alone, he eventually calmd down and became tranquil again. However, this time, an annoying land Pokemon was preventing this from happening. He watched from under water as a Snivy jumped onto rocks and occassionally fell into the water. The noise and disturbance was highly irritating to him. Finally, he could take it no longer. He swam to the sufrace and surged near the shore where he could address the Snivy. <ENOUGH!> He shot out a water gun at her just as she reached the shore. The fish hoped that would teach her a lesson she would never forget. The pond was nice, and they had been the only human's there so that made training even more nice. No guys who thought they where tough stuff, or any ladies there to side track him from his main lady at the moment. Harper. Smiling he watched his pokemon make her way back onto the shore and then it hit. Or rather then she was hit by a water gun that knocked her to the ground and came from behind. Who does that? What pokemon was such a coward that they would attack another pokemon and start a fight when their back was turned. "Hey not cool Qwilfish!" The teen called out to the fish as he spotted him in the water. Some pokemon can't let others have any fun it seemed. "Don't just let him attack you. Harper you are so much better then that grumpy old fish. Charm him with your Captivate." Theodore wasn't angry, a tad annoyed yes, but he was also excited at the same time. However, he kept his cool and added an attack as well. "And then hit him with your Energy Ball." He told her and was happy to see his Snivy in her first battle. Harper might have thought she was too good to fight, but Theo didn't come to the academy to become a model or anything. <With Pleasure. Hey darling don't be rude look over here.> Snivy called out as she got up and turned to face the water pokemon. Putting on her best flirty face as she tried to use captivate on him. After a few moments she moved forward using the same rocks as before, before she sent an energy ball flying at him. Take that ugly! The snivy couldn't help but think to herself.

The Qwilfish just glared at the trainer. He did not like humans coming over here and messing up hos habitat with their Pokemon. He would not go so far as to attack a human, though, so he focused on the Snivy. <You're the ones who started it,> he huffed. In his mind, this was true, and he would not listen to anyone who said otherwise. He was momentarily captivated by the Snivy's attack. Why did she suddenly look so much more appealing? The Energy Ball snapped him back to reality. Now he was really mad. <You'll pay for that!> If they wanted a battle, then it was a battle they would get. It was time for a real move. He sucked in a long breath and led it out in a great Hydro Pump Attack. That should stop that pesky grass type in her tracks! "Watch out!" He yelled to his pokemon. But the attack hit to quickly. Luckily Harper was a grass type strong against water type moves. It was the poison type moves the pokemon could possibly do that worried him. "Shake it off Harper. Use Leer then energy ball!" Theo ordered. He would have used tackle, but he didn't want Harper to get too close to the wild pokemon. Giving it her best leer she looked like she was fuming as she glared at the fish pokemon. <No! You did mister rudypants! You shot me with you spit water!> Snivy called out in anger as made her move and she tried her best to insult the wild pokemon back. Such behavior was not needed. Surely Theo could do better then this and wasn't thinking about catching the creature. Harper for one wouldn't be seen with the likes of it. Meanwhile in Theo's bag the pokemon egg he adopted started to shake. Having placed the bag on the ground Theo didn't realize the baby inside was ready to hatch.
(Could I get the fire type egg Theo has hatched please? Was suppose to hatch on the 8th, but I wasn't on the comp them.)

The Qwilfish grew even angrier when he was hit again, if that was even possible. Did these guys not understand what was going on? They could not see his point at all! Nothing enraged him more than pompous trainers and Pokemon who would not even admit when they were doing wrong. <You disturbed me> he bellowed. <This is my home!> He thought it should be obvious enough. He was mad that he was up against a grass type. He could feel himself quickly losing his strength, and he knew he had to do something different fast. He decided it was time for one of his poison attacks. He opened his mouth and spit out poisonous needles at the Snivy. That ought to do it!
Inside Theodore's bag, the Pokemon egg hatched into a baby Pansear. The Pokemon was scared because she had just hatched, and it was dark inside the bag. She thought she was in a second egg! Theodore thought he had heard something coming from his bag, but at first didn't check for he and Harper where in the middle of a battle. "That a girl Harper!" The teen cheered. She was doing delightful for her first battle. Of course having the type advantage helped greatly. <Don't be a crybaby! We where training, and you bothered us! Don't like trainers don't live so close to the academy!> Snivy would have hissed if that was possible for her. Narrowing her eyes Harper waited for an ordered. She really disliked this pokemon and Theodore could see that, but hey Qwilfish might be a good pokemon to trade or even sell to someone. "Watch out, dodge it!" Theodore said as he saw the wild pokemon get in close. Moving to his bag he went to get a pokeball out. That was when he realized there was something moving in it. A little worried be opened it up to see the egg had hatched and there was a scared newborn pokemon inside. "It is alright. Hey I am Theo. Come on out." He said tenderly as he helped the fire monkey out and she clanged to his neck as he pulled out a pokeball from his bag. Turning around to see Harper barely get out of the way from the poison sting. "That is Harper she is in battle, the one in the water she is fighting." Theo explained to Pansear. "Alright Harper, show that water type who is boss! Use Energy Ball one more time!" He said pointing to it. "Come on show Maria what battling is about." He called as the Snivy eyed the two for a split second before she made her move towards the fish. She was starting to get a bit tired, but she wasn't ready to give up yet.

<I was born here,> the Qwilfish growled. <You need to move!> He was frustrated that his attack had not hit. Meanwhile, he was struck by yet another Energy Ball. He only had a little bit of strength left at this point. He decided it would be best to stick with his best attack like the Snivy was doing. He sucked ina deep breath and let it out with his best Hydro Pump. He hoped it would knock her opponent off her feet. Right now, he was ignoring type and focuing on pure power. He could do this! The battle was surely winding to a close, soon enough one was bound do fall and Theodore hoped it wasn't Harper, but you never know. "What your back Harper." He called as he saw her attack land, but then saw the wild pokemon making it's move. Harper turned around and jumped trying to escape it's attack, but she wasn't fast enough. <You...jerk!> Snivy mumbled under her breath as she felt weak. That attack really hurt. Which was odd to her as it had been a water move. If it had been another type maybe it would have been smarter to use in her eyes, but really how could she take this punk seriously? He was such a drama king. She didn't care that he was born here, that was his fault not hers. "Alright stand back, hopefully this works. Go pokeball." He said as the pokemon around his neck leaned her head closer to him and watched everything happen. Theo though the pokeball at the water pokemon hoping it would work.

The Qwilfish grew angrier with each passing minute. At least his attacks seemed to be doing a good amount of damage. He was too enraged to notice the Pokeball coming towards him. His eyes widened in surprise as he was sucked inside. Unfortunately, he was much too weak by now to resist it. The Pokeball wobbled several times before finally growing still. You caught a Qwilfish!
You have earned five points for Team Unova!

As tired as Harper appeared to be, it seemed she had gotten stronger from it all. "Yes, awesome job Harper." Theo called as the battle ended with the wild pokemon being successfully sucked into the pokeball. Moving over to his starter pokemon he padded her on the head while picking up the pokeball on the ground. As he picked it up Harper slapped it out of his hand with her tail and gave a huff. "OW! Harper don't be like that." Theo said as he rubbed his hand and picked up the ball again. Once more getting his hand slapped. "Enough! Harper return." He then ordered and the grass type went back into her pokeball. "Maybe some rest will calm you down." He muttered as he put her pokeball and the other pokeball with the pokemon he just caught in his pocket. Looking at the newly hatched pokemon clinging to him Theo smiled softly. "Hey, don't worry sorry I yelled. Come on lets go get Harper healed up." The young man said kindly to the pokemon who smiled at him in return. He then grabbed his stuff and left.
