OOC: You have a chance to take home a Kalos start Pokemon. In order to qualify, you must have eight roleplay post within the month of March. Post here having your character attending the lecture once this is achieved. IC: It was time for the last professor lecture. Principal Sash was sad to see them end, but she knew she would be able to start the cycle over again in the future. Besides, she was already actively setting up something that might be even better. She would announce her plan the following month, and it would start the month after that. There were exciting things in store for the students of Cherilli academy. For now, she was focused on Professor Sycamore's lecture. As soon as it was time to start, she stepped forward up to the microphone. "Welcome, students!" she said brightly. "Thank you for joining me for the last lecture of our series. It is my pleasure to introduce to you Professor Sycamore from the Kalos region!"
Professor Sycamore smiled and waved as he took the stage from Sash. "Hello, Cherilli!" he boomed into the microphone. "Thank you for coming out today. I have a lot of exciting things to ell you about. Of course, at the end, I will be giving away free Pokemon. Who would not love that?" He felt energized as he looked around at all of the students in the gym. He loved going to young trainers and teaching them about Pokemon. He eagerly began his lecture, using great stories to explain the wonders of Kalos. |

Onaturx sat front and center for this next Lecture, as this one had a pokemon he wanted for a long time. Froakie, if he could manage it, was going to be his.

Theo hadn't been to the other professor meeting things, but he was here for this one. Sitting ninth row third in on the left the young man was rather excited. He'd love a Kalos Pokemon of his own. Probably not a water or grass Pokemon, but the fire type interested him. Of course out of everyone in the school it wasn't very likely that he would be called up. Of well he would at least learn something.

Faith skipped down the hall headed for the gym. She did not want to miss the last professor lecture of the year! She had already won Pokemon in the past, but she was still interested in learning about the Kalos region. She head it was pretty high tech. Plus, the Pokemon sounded awesome. She entered the gym and made her way to the front. She wanted to get a good view of the professor. She sat down and looked up attentively. This was going to be interesting. |

Sawyer hurried down the hall towards the gym. There was one professor lecture left, and she did not want to miss it. While she was usually not a fan of lectures, she found it enjoyable to learn about the different regions and the Pokemon they contained. She wished her teachers could be as exciting as these professors. She slowed down as she reached the gym and stepped inside. She could already see Professor Sycamore standing with Principal Sash on the stage. She took a seat in the back and waited for the lecture to begin. |

Professor Sycamore gave a great lecture with a lot of enthusiasm. When he was finished, he paused and swept his gaze across the students in the audience. "That about wraps this up. Now it's time for the part you have all been waiting for: the Pokemon drawing. Let me introduce you to some friends of mine." He pulled out three Pokeballs and released the three Kalos starter Pokemon. "This is Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. I am now going to draw from a hat of names to see who will get to choose first." Principal Sash stepped forward and held out a hat. Sycamore smiled at her before pulling out a slip of paper, which he held close to his face to read. "Theodore Rodgers. Please come up to the stage!" |

Listening the whole thing was rather intersting, but he was glad it was over. Finally hey had reached the end and to the exciting part. Waiting he was shocked to hear his name called. Getting up he made his way to the stage a smiled greeting the professor. "Well this is a pleasent surprise, but I find I am very fond of Fennekin." He said politely.

Professor Sycamore smiled and nodded. "Of course." He returned the Fennekin to its Pokeball and then handed it to the student. "Enjoy." Now it was time for the second drawing. He wondered which Pokemon would be chosen next. He dipped his hand into the hat and pulled out another slip of paper. He cleared his throat before leading the name. "Onatrux Ojex. Congratulations!" Onatrux walked up to the stage happily, but when he got up there, he was faced with a difficult decision. While Froakie was the pokemon he wanted, Chespin looked so cute. making up his mind, he asked, "May I please have the Froakie?"

Professor Sycamore waited for the second boy to approach the stage and choose his Pokemon. It was going to be the water type, eh? He took out a Pokeball and returned the Froakie. "Alright. Here you are." Now there was only the Chespin left. It was time to find out who the lucky winner of the grass type was going to be. He put his hand into the hat one more time and pulled out a name. Sawyer looked up at Professor Sycamore in surprise when she heard her name called. She had won? Really? She had found it shocking enough when she had won a Pokemon the first time, but to be chosen again? It was surreal. She did not even care that she did not get to choose a Pokemon. Chespin seemed like a fine Pokemon, and she did not yet have a grass type on her team. She hurried along the aisle until she arrived at the stage. "Thank you, sir." This was turning out to be a great day! |

Professor Sycamore returned the last Pokemon to its Pokeball. He proceeded to hand the Pokeball to the young girl. "You're quite welcome, young lady." He waited until she had taken Chespin away. Then he turned to address the audience once again. "Thank you so much for your time! I will be here for a few more minutes if anyone wants to come up and talk to me about my research on Pokemon evolution." he always found it exciting to talk to trainers one-on-one. Sawyer grinned as she accepted the Pokeball from Professor Sycamore. She was excited to check out her new Kalos Pokemon. Her starter, Kopa, was also from that region, so she wondered how well they would get along. She could not wait to introduce Chespin to everyone and find out. She trotted back to her chair and sat down. A moment later, the lecture was over. She quickly got up to exit the gym. It was time to go have some fun! |
