Miss Riverton walked down the hall with her Tyrogue, Sport, having just finished their Battling Techniques class. That class was a workout, but it really got her pumped. Now, they were heading to the classroom where she would hold her Pokemon Psychology class. That class was not nearly as active as Battling Techniques, but she still got pumped teaching it. Psychology was fascinating, and she believed it was a crucial element to fine Pokemon training. If you wanted to succeed in mastering battle techniques, you needed to, at the very least, know some psychology. She was glad those two classes meshed well together and that she got to teach them both!
Having arrived at the classroom, she walked in and headed to the desk. She placed down her teaching materials and took out the attendance sheet. It looked like Nate Kerston, Paul Gruff, Zoey Clowes, and Kiki Jones were taking this class. She knew them well from the two previous psychology courses she had taught. This was going to be fun teaching them even more advanced stuff!

Nate had found Pokemon Psychology quite interesting so far. The information was certainly helpful to the future Pokemon breeder. He found it fascinating to get inside Pokemon's minds and learn what made them tick. He was taking his partner, Watcher, with him to this class. The Eevee also liked learning about psychology. They both hoped to gain a lot out of this class. Nate opened the door for Watcher and then walked in himself. He could see that he was the first one here. He choose a seat in the second row on the right side near the window. His Eevee sat on his left next to his desk. He watched the door to see who would come in.

Kiki loved Pokemon psychology. She found it very helpful to know about how Pokemon's minds worked so she could pay attention to their mental needs as well as their physical needs. Pokemon, like people, were so complex! Her partner, Alice, was also very interested in the subject. Of course, Paul was always in this class, and he tended to bring along Thorn. That may have something to do with the Bayleef's excitment as they walked down the hall. Paul better be taking the class this time and he better bring Thorn or else Kiki would deal with him herself. After all the psychology classes, he should realize at this point why it was good for the two grass types to be together. These were her thoughts as she entered the classroom. Seen Alice was larger now, she decided to take a seat in the back so as to not disturb anyone else. She sat in the middle of the last row with her Bayleef directly behind her.

Psychology class. Why was Paul taking it, yet again? It was interesting, at the very least. Some of the things he had learned from the previous two classes were directly related to him and his training technique. In theory, he was storing them in his mind to reflect on later and figure out what he thought about them and how he would apply them if they proved useful. In reality, he was simply pushing them to the back of his mind and forgetting about them when they could probably come in handy.
He was taking the class to appease his Grotle, who seemed to behave at least a little better when he took him with him. It was in order to ensure training would be the most efficient and Thorn would be cooperative. That's what he told himself, anyways. When he entered the classroom, he immediately scanned the room for Kiki. He found her at the back of the classroom and made his way over to her, Thorn following eagerly behind. Without saying a word, Paul sat down next to Kiki. He did not notice when something inside his backpack, which he placed on the floor beside his desk, began to glow.
Thorn lit up like the sun when he saw Alice. He started to run as fast as he could towards her, but he started to wobble, so he slowed down. He kept having to remind himself that he could not run like he used to, now that he was a Grotle. It was still frustrating, and he did wish he was smaller. It made him feel better, though, that Alice was the same size as him. They could both relate to the difficulties of adjusting to evolving! <Alice!> he said excitedly when he finally reached her.
OOC: His egg is in his backpack, and it is hatching.

Zoey held her Meowth securely in her arms as she headed for her Pokemon Psychology class. She loved the cuddliness of him. As they continued to get to know each other, she was discovering how sweet of a kitty-Pokemon he was. He made classes fun for her, even if he only sat there. Pokemon Psychology was fun enough as it was, though. She was not sure if she had taken Meowthers to it before. She hoped he would like it; she did. When she walked in, she immediately noticed the two grass types in the back. They were so cool! That Paul guy kind of made her uneasy, though, making her wary of approaching to compliment the two trainers on their beautiful Pokemon.
She looked around again and spotted Nate. He was friendly. Making a decision, she walked over to him and sat down in the desk next to him. She gently placed her Meowth on her desk and lifted her hand to scratch him behind the ears lightly. "Hi, Nate," she greeted him with a smile. "Hello, Watcher. How are you doing today?" she asked, looking at the adorable Eevee. She remembered his name from previous classes.

Once it was time to start class, Miss Riverton cleared her throat and began to take roll. "Nate Kerston...Paul Gruff...Zoey Clowes...Kiki Jones..." Everyone was here, which made her excited. None of them was going to miss out on all there was to know in this psychology course! "Alright everyone. I hope you are all doing well. We will begin with introducing the Pokemon with you and then sharing one way you think psychology can be used to aid in a trainer's life with their Pokemon. We already know each others' names, so let's not bother with that. As for me, everything I teach is what I think all trainers can use in their daily life. I want to know what you think. Who's first?" She placed her hands on her hips and glanced around. She thought this was a good way to get them to think about actually applying what they learn to real life. They were taking their third psychology class; they ought to be applying it if they were really serious about it!

Kiki noticed when Paul walked into the room. She tried not to watch him as he headed her way. She did not want him to think she had more interest in him than she actually did; her interest was purely about Thorn and Alice. She did watch him out of the corner of her eye and attempted to hide a smirk as he sat down next to her. She was pleased that he seemed to have finally accepted that he had to let Thorn and Alice be friends. Even if his motivation was only one of annoyance and grudging acceptance, it was still a victory. As a healer, she knew that slow progress was still progress.
Alice grinned when Thorn ran through the door. She chuckled as he started to wobble. <Hello, Thorn.> She had not seen him much since they had both evolved. This was certainly different. <Does your trainer like me yet?> She also had noticed that Paul had followed them over here. Whatever the reason, she was glad to see the Grotle again.
Kiki found the question today very interesting. She certainly had a lot to say on the subject. She wondered what kind of nonsense Paul would come up with. Pushing thoughts of him away, she spoke up to give her introduction. "Hello, everyone. This is Alice, my Bayleef. Psychology is obviously important for trainers. If you notice you and your Pokemon are not in sync in battle, you can use psychology to find the reason and address it. Your training style might need an adjustment to better suit one of your Pokemon." She leaned back in her chair when she finished, glancing at Paul for a second before looking away again. OOC: I'll make a separate post for Paul's egg.

The egg in Paul's backpack broke away, and then a baby Sandile appeared. He started to bite at the backpack, trying to get free. Nate glanced at the door when Paul entered. He did not get along too well with his roommate. They seemed to have different views of everything. His Grotle, however, he did like. He could not help but smile as he ran over to Kiki's Bayleef. Maybe Paul's Pokemon would make him be a bit more friendly and social. Nate turned back to the front to pay attention to the teacher. He found the introduction question this time quite interesting. Obviously, there were many useful things about psychology, and it was hard to choose just one! "I'm Nate Kerston," he said after Kiki. "This is my partner, Watcher. If your Pokemon seems ill and there is nothing physically wrong, it could be something psychological, and what we learn from this class could help with that." The mind was as important as the body, after all.
