As the trainer would walk through the forest, the surrounding trees would begin to rustle. The ground shook as something began to approach at a rapid pace. The trees began to part at the towering seven foot three form of a Kangaskhan came into view. The powerful pokemon tore trees up from the ground roots and all as it stampeded across the terrain. The motherly pokemon roared loudly as she pushed passed another tree leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. Her focus turned towards the training, snarling at him. Gary focused his attention on the sound he heard in the distance. It was getting louder, which meant that whatever was making that noise was getting closer. He braced himself and grabbed a Pokeball. It was most likely a Pokemon coming down the path. Sure enough, he soon set his eyes on the Kangaskhan. What was wrong with her? Did she have a problem or was she just looking for a fight? "Calm down. Is something the matter?" He did not want to take any chances, so he released Spirit from his Pokeball. The Deerling tensed when she saw the big Pokemon. The Kangaskhan was driven by irrational rage. This trainer was in her territory, and she wanted to get rid of him. She took his Pokemon as a threat. If he wanted to battle, then she would give him a battle. She continued to lumber forward, this time heading for the Deerling. When she got close enough, she found she had to bend down low to reach er opponent. She shot her arm out to punch her target. That would show him! Level: 12 Gender: Female - only

Well, it looked like Gary had no choice but to battle. It was a good thing he was ready. "Spirit, dodge that and use Double Kick!" He knew his Deerling could get the job done. He wondered if he should capture this wild Pokemon.
Spirit glared at the Kangaskan. <We don't have to fight!> It lookd like she would not listen. <Fine then.> The Deerling jumped out of the way of the attack. Then he rounded around his target and turned around. He struck out his hind legs twice to damage his opponent. The Kangaskhan roared when she was struck by the Deerling. Now she was really mad! She could barely think let alone dodge any attacks coming her way. There was no strategy to her own moves. She simply reacted. Right now, her move of choice was Feint Attack, and she moved forward to use it. Level: 12 Gender: Female - only

Gary wished he knew how to calm this Pokemon down. Why was she so angry? He hated to escalate the situation, but he really had no choice. "Leech Seed and then Tackle!"
Spirit shivered as he endured the Feint Attack. Even though he could use the move himself, it still creeped him out. He shook off the odd feeling and shot out a tin seed that would hopefully give him some of his energy back. Then he raced forward for a Tackle. The Kangaskhan grunted when the seed hit her body and vines wrapped around her. She hated to feel trapped! She stumbled when she was struck by the Tackle but managed to maintain her balance. Glaring at her opponent, she shot out her fist to strike him. Level: 12 Gender: Female - only

Gary wished he knew how to calm down this Pokemon. If only he were a Pokemon breeder. His grandfather would surely know what to do. He shook the thoughts away. He was doing his best, and he would succeed. "Now Feint Attack!"
Spirit's eyes widened when he saw a punch coming right at him. He moved backward, but the Kengaskan was too fast for him. Luckily, he managed to retain his balance. With determination, he started to use Feint Attack. The Kangaskhan was struck hard by the Deerling's attack. She was nearly knocked off her feet but managed to steady herself. Her anger had not abated, however. Now she just wanted to fight for fighting's sake. She would battle until she could no longer move! She gathered up her energy to use Fake Out. Level: 12 Gender: Female - only

Gary could see the wild Pokemon weakening. It would be better if she would just give up, but there was nothing else he could do at the moment. "Spirit, Double Kick!" He hoped this would do it.
Spirit whimpered after he was struck by the Comet Punch. This lady was tough! He wished he could get this battle over with already. He just had to try really hard! With this in mind, he trotted forward, turning around at the last second to kick his back legs. The Kangaskhan has had enough. She did not have the energy to dodge the quick Deerling, and once she was struck, she fell to the ground, not to get up again. Level: 12 Gender: Female - only

Gary let out a breath of relief when the wild Pokemon fainted. "I'm glad that's over. Good job, Spirit." He frowned as he gazed at the Kanghaskan. "She was so angry... Maybe I can give her a good life." With this in mind, he tossed an empty Pokeball at her. |

The Kangaskhan resisted as she was sucked the Pokeball. There was a struggle, but the ball finally stopped moving. She was caught. Gary picked up the Pokeball and stared at it. He hoped that he could be a good trainer for the mom and her baby. Maybe he would have to ask his breeder friend Nate for some advice. With this in mind, he pocketed the ball and then headed back towards the city. OOC: finished |
