Shorty came to fight

Kagirinai pushed the brim of his glasses up his nose, his lab coat blowing in the wind as he crouched down to examine the berry trees growing in the soil of the park. He placed his metal toolbox full of his equipment used in his experiments on the ground. He opened it up revealing various pieces of equipment. He removed a syringe and injected the needle into the berry, a strange link pinkish, with shades of blue. He began to extract a little sample of the berry, pulling out a sketchpad to document the berry he had found before depositing the liquid into a test tube and corking it. He grabbed a small scalpel and a petri dish and began to run the scalpel down the berry scrapping a few more samples from it. He cut a few of its leaves off putting them away. When he got back to his room he would run a few tests on the berry in order to pull its genetic material apart and extract what he wanted. He was attempting to create a serum to help boost the growth of pokemon. He had forged a few prototypes and used the finishing product of one particular serum on his Nidoking.

He blinked as he heard someone call out, challenging someone to a battle. He looked up and began looking around before pointing to himself. They wanted to battle him. He slowly stood up and before he could speak the ground began to shake making him stumble slightly. The earth shook violently as to their left one hundred metres away the trees began to sway, a few even collapsing as something charged towards them. Bursting out from the bushes was a Nidoking, but this one was different when compared to other Nidoking. Over the last month Kagirinai had injected his own Nidoking with a new serum he had invented, one to stimulate growth and the effects were stupendous. A normal Nidoking was only four feet seven inches in height, however some had been known to grow larger in size and that's what he had brought out with his serum.

Bursting forth was a dark purple Nidoking standing at a towering height of seven feet!

The giant nidoking marched forth his massive feet crashing into the ground making it shake as it walked towards Kagirinai. The pokemon bellowed at the Espurr before it. Kagirinai gave a small sigh, "Sorry Dokuton you'll have to sit this one out" the nidoking looked at his master but Kagirinai gave him a blank stare, "Your too strong" was the reply getting a snarl from the Nidoking as it marched off back into the park to find something to hit.

Kagirinai took his glasses off and began to clean the lenses on his lab coat, "Apologies, my Nidoking is experiencing a small side effect from the growth serum I created and have been injecting him with. While it has allowed him to grow in size nearly two times his normal height, it has made him more...aggressive" He put his glasses back on the entire time speaking in a blank deadpan tone no emotion what so ever, speaking about genetic enhancing as if it was the weather.

Kagirinai reached into his lab coat removing a single pokeball, "Haruko" he tossed the sphere lazily into the air as it opened it a beam of light hitting the ground taking the shape of a small Petilil. The pokemon took notice of the two challenges and quickly ran away hiding behind Kagirinai's right leg. It looked out timidly from behind it's trainers leg clearly shy of the other two before her. Kagirinai simply gave Petilil a small look. The grass type nodded her head and jumped forth mustering her courage, "Is a four on four battle acceptable? First one to knock out three of the others pokemon wins?" spoke Kagirinai as he pushed his glasses up again.

Kagirinai seemed to ignore her timid question to see if experimentation was allowed on the school grounds. He was focusing on the battle ahead and as she introduced herself it was only right he do the same, "Ikazuchiarashi, Kagirinai from team Hoenn" he introduced, taking a small pause between his last and first name. He pushed his glasses up against before sliding his hands into the pockets of his lab coat looking at onto what was now the battle field with an unreadable expression, a poker face.

Kagirinai lanced down at Petilil before back up at the Espurr who was on the move using her leer before rushing forth in a zig zag pattern striking his petilil with here scratch attack. The tiny grass pokemon shot back hitting the ground hard. She jumped to her feet shaking herself off. "Growth" came the first command. Haruko began to concentrate her tiny body shaking as a red glow engulfed her as she boosted her attack and special attack, "Sunlight Absorption" came the final command. Haruko spread the three leaves on her head wide as small particles of light began to form around her beginning to be absorbed into her tiny body.
