It was raining just great. It wasn't that Tyler didn't like the rain, no she loved it. It was just she had wanted to go exploring the campus. Classes would be starting soon enough and she wanted to make sure she knew her way. Getting lost wouldn't have been a good thing. However, she had done enough exploring to come across the student lounge before the sky started to pour. That she was thankful for. Wearing dark blue jeans, a light pink shirt and a grey hoodie she was ready for the rain as it looked like it might rain this morning. Still, she already had her shower this morning and didn't need another.
So she had taken shelter in the lounge. Placed her backpack down next to the chair she sat in looking out a window. In front of her was her white laptop she had taken out of her backpack once she was inside and settled. Tyler was half writing an email home to her parents and half watching the weather outside. Curled up on top of he back of the chair was Nyu her Meowth. The Pokemon had fallen asleep to the sound of the rain.

| Like a fever I'll take you down Yang had not been so lucky as to be inside when it had began pouring down, the loud clacking of her boots across the stone path leading towards the lounge as she followed her drenched Aipom in a sprint-- almost slipping a few times as she did into the sheltered warmth, carrying an oval shaped egg in her arms. Sticky golden bangs matted to the tall teen's face as she gave a small huff, her usually bouncy curls had been flattened due to how long she had been out in the rain.
The brute flinched as soon as the small purple monkey had began to shake the water from his fur, becoming an extremely poofy mess in an almost cartoon-like fashion. Yang couldn't help the giggle that left her lips as she adjusted her hold on the egg and held it in one arm as she moved towards the seats further into the lounge, pausing as she noticed a raven haired girl, a smile crept it's way onto the golden haired teens lips, raising her free gloved hand and nonchalantly waving "Hi, it's rather wet out there." She began with a smile that remained present as she resumed shuffling her way over to the unoccupied seats, hoping not to disturb the sleeping Meowth, which she assumed was the girls. Hibari, her Aipom had rushed ahead of her and began to climb onto the back of the couch, sitting himself down.

Sitting there she typed a little more of her letter. Telling her parents how her first few days had been. What her new partner was and the like. Having a good two pages done she saved it and sent the email before closing her laptop. It closed with a click and it was at about the same time a girl soaked to the bone and her purple Pokemon walked in. Smiling before she realized just how wet they where. "Hi, oh your soaked." She said with a frown. Getting into her backpack she moved some stuff around gently, carefully unwrapped some things in her bag, while placing her laptop on the table next to her. "Here." She added as she pulled a large soft grey Magikarp beach towel out and handed it to the girl.
"You don't want to get sick." She then said as she leaned back in the seat putting the pack gently back on the ground. "I am Tyler by the way. And this is Nyu." She added in a friendly voice while patting the slumbering Meowth.

| Like a fever I'll take you down Lavender irises blinked a few times as she felt water dripping from her chin and down onto the egg that sat in her lap while she sat down, a light chuckle escaping the tall flaxen haired girls lips "Heh, yeah we we're out there for quite awhile, honestly." She began as she shuffled backwards against the seat, getting fairly comfortable while the ebony haired stranger rummaged around in her backpack for something, which she soon found out was a grey beach towel. The brawler slid the strap of her backpack from her shoulder and placed it down against the floor by her feet.
Yang reached out a gloved hand and slid the soft cloth from the girl with a thankful nod before starting to dry herself off, by the time she wasn't as soaked her hair was back to at least it's somewhat bouncy, messy style of curls. She then dried off the egg in her lap, wanting to keep the oval shaped object as warm as she could before holding the towel out for her Aipom "Here, dry yourself off, Hibari." She spoke softly, turning her attention back to the girl as she introduced herself "Oh, nice to meet'cha, Tyler. The name is Yang and this here is Hibari, we just started here.. we've just been monkeying around and exploring, so to speak." She responded in a chipper manner, a relaxed sigh leaving the girl as she sunk into the back of the seat.
Hibari took the towel from his trainer and nodded towards the girl "Aipom ai! <Hi there!>" The monkey-like Pokemon cooed before beginning to dry himself off with the towel using the hand on his tail in a happy manner from his place on the back of the couch. |

Tyler was happy that so far none of the girls here had made fun of her for having a boy's name. She had thought about going by her middle name of Rose, or even her last name as both sounded more girly. Then again she could have made up a nickname for herself. No one would have know it was something she decided as she hadn't met many here so far. Oh well, it others wanted to look at her name and think she is a guy so be it. They'd be the ones in for a surprise when they find out. Smiling the teen nodded to Yang. "Looks like it. I was lucky enough to be inside when it started. Glad I checked the weather and didn't settle for a spot out on the grass to write home. My laptop would have gone ruined." She said with a nervous chuckle at the idea of a ruined laptop. She paid a lot of money for that thing. " Yang that is an intersting name. I like it." She commented with a happy smile. Looking at the purple Pokemon she looked in awe. "I have never seen a Pokemon like this." Honestly she hadn't. Most of the Pokemon she saw growing up were grass types. Sometimes Posion as well, and even to her dislike bug Pokemon. It wasn't that she didn't like bug Pokemon it was that she was majorly freaked out and scared of them. As she looked from Yang's Pokemon to her own she saw that the Meowth had woke up. "Morning sleepy head." She cooed as Nyu stood and stretched out her back before settling back down to glance at Aipom. Meowth Meow. < Hello there I am Nyu. Nice fluffy fur.> the feline Pokemon said in a purr. "Same here. I just arrived a few days ago, well two days ago. I am from Kanto. The region and the team." She explained. "I want to become an amazing coordinator." Tyler was happy to chat with someone else who was also new to the school.

| Like a fever I'll take you down Yang gave a small nod accompanied by a light chuckle "Haha, yeah that would have sucked big time, especially if you have a lot of things that are important to you on there." She spoke with a smile before the girl mentioned her name "Oh yeah, apparently my parents had the whole bringing harmony to other people thing in their heads when they were naming me, not that I mind it any, I actually like it since it's unique and not a lot of people hear it often." Yang added, folding her arms across her chest in a proud manner before letting herself relax again, blinking as the other addressed her Pokemon "You've never seen an Aipom before? they're rather common-ish in Johto since they're quite popular for their funny antics and acrobatics skills with their tail-hand." She responded as she shifted her gaze to the purple normal-type sitting next to the cream colored feline who seemed to be waking up from their sleep, she knew all to well about the Pokemon from the Johto region since her dad would tell her stories about his own journey from when he was younger, though he traveled with a normal starter from a Professor. The Aipom gave his usually cheeky smile as he waved one of his short arms towards the other Pokemon "Aipom, ai aipom pom? <Hi there, thank you. Did you sleep well?>" He asked as he swayed back and forth slightly in his seated position rather excitedly with the Aipom equivalent of a laugh sounding every so often though it wasn't too loud, Hibari wasn't that obnoxious. The flaxen haired teen let her lips curl into a light grin as she watched the two Pokemon seemingly talk to each other, she hoped her partner was being nice "Oh, I'm from Johto both the team and region and I wish to become a fine Pokemon trainer like my dad was once." She said with a soft tone of voice, she was rather fond of her parents of course and she had to admit at times she probably would miss being at home but it was just as important for her to be here and develop as a trainer.
