A faint huffing sound could be heard if one were to strain their ears for whatever reason in Shupert City, a huffing accompanied by the sound of tired footsteps that seemed like they were about to give way at any moment. Said footsteps were actually caused by you guessed it, feet that were attached to legs which led up to a torso upon which sat the sweaty face of a certain bluenette, exhaustion clear on his face as he tried hopelessly to catch up to the gray creature turning the corner into a large green area. "Emia! Wait up for once!" he cried out between labored breathes, the pokemon merely turning around while keeping its steady pace, looking at him with those soul piercing eyes before turning its head back and continuing on its merry way without having any intentions of stopping, or so it seemed.
Makussu had the bright idea earlier of taking the Espurr for a short walk around the city, it would be good for the creature to stretch its legs and for him to get a good mental map of the city for later should he ever have the need for it. Unfortunately, he seemed to have forgotten the gray kitten's endless energy and whimsical attitude, and before he knew it a leisurely walk had turned into a wild chase where Emia had him running circles around the city lest he lose his only pokemon within the concrete jungle. It had been a good half hour since the whole ordeal began and it finally seemed to reach its end, as Emia had finally stopped to just stare at him underneath an apple tree as though it had decided that this was their final destination. Despite all of his efforts for a strong finish Makussu stumbled a bit before falling onto the soft earth and grass next to the cat before letting out a deep breath, having no intention of getting up for a while. He wasn't nonathletic, but this was simply ridiculous. What kind of cat not only dashes into oncoming traffic, but starts running directly at it? Said cat merely looked at him before deciding that his back was looking rather comfy and decided to take a seat on top on him, making him feel as though he was currently channeling his inner park bench at the moment. He was just happy that they hadn't drawn any attention yet, that would be incredibly embarrassing for him.
