All students who choose the gym battle path must defeat each battle leader before they can graduate. To challenge a leader, a trainer has to have at least one Pokemon the same level of the leader's Pokemon minus one. No one Pokemon used may be more than 5 levels stronger than the leader's strongest Pokemon. In addition, the challenger's selection of three Pokemon may not exceed 10 levels total higher than the leader's three Pokemon. Each battle is three-on-three with only substitutions from the challenger. If you win, you get five rare candies. Post questions here.

With this so one of your pokemon has to be equal in level? They can't all be a higher level then the gyms leader's pokemon?

EG

Gym leader has a lvl 12, 13 and a 15

But you have 3 pokemon at level 20+

It does not matter how much over they are.
