Rika had been called to the courtyard. She didn't know why, only that they - meaning the people who invited her - had been a bit pushy about it. Something about a student orienteering? Maybe. She figured the only way to find out was to go and see. She had her partner pokemon, TenTen the Piplup, following her as although her personality is rough, she's a bit edgy in the dark. "Hello? I anyone there? I came like a said I would..."

Makussu quite frankly had no idea what exactly he was doing with himself. These days all he seems to do was try and locate himself in the city while waiting for classes to start. Currently he was doing the same thing except around the academy, taking his time as he strolled around barely noticing the pressure on his head as his gray catlike Pokemon hung limp from him like a ragdoll, once again having been much too lazy to walk. Really, he should teach that cat how to excersise at the right times, Emia was going to become incredibly spoiled at this rate. "Es." The cat murmured as they began to cross the courtyard and caused Makussu to stop by tugging on his hair sharply causing a "Hey!" To erupt from his mouth as he grinded to a halt. Great, the Espurr had found something interesting to stare at again. Trying to play it nonchalant and not as if he was pretty much being whipped by a seven pound feline he would pretend to be looking at the architecture of the surrounding buildings, meanwhile Emia would stare deep into Rika's with a gaze that could melt steel, almost daring her to say anything about it. For some reason, whatever this girl was doing slightly interested her...

Rika, being the kind of person she was, walked into a tree. She was horrible in the dark. I mean, she wasn't scared or anything, she just couldn't see. Bad eyes, or something like that. The Piplup jumped down and wandered around. It wasn't going to sit by and be walked into trees. It spotted both the Espur and the Cyniquil and gave a very large and loud cry that sounded somewhat like a squawk. Rika, hearing the squawk, walked towards it. "What's up Ten? You sounded like you saw something. Man, It's dark."

A long white coat bellowed in the midnight wind as a figure approached the courtyard. The light of a nearby light post illuminated the figure revealing a young man towering at a height of six feet four inches with pale skin. He had short slick black hair with spiked tips coming down to frame the sides of his race, the spikes running down the back of his neck. He had spiked bangs hanging loosely over the right side of his face. A pair of unusual eyes looked out through the night, the red a deep ruby red, the left had healed burn marks around the edge and the hue was a dull shade of pink with a large scarring running through the middle of the iris marking his features. He was wearing long baggy black hakama style pants with a long sleeves white kimono like top. Around his waist a golden kaku obi sash. Hanging loosely over his shoulders was a long white lab coat, his arms through the sleeves of the coat. Sitting on the bridge of his nose a pair of glasses. The Scientist in training approached the three individuals as they gathered, he knowing the reason why they had been gathered but he would not reveal the information until the others arrived. The member of team hoenn had his hands in the pockets of his lab coat as he approached them a smile in place, but it wasn't a warm smile, it was cold and emotionless, " Greetings" he said in a low polite tone void of any kind of emotion, purely monotone. The tall teen pushed his glasses up, "Ikazuchiarashi, Kagirinai of Team Hoenn, senior member of Cherilli Academy" he greeted as he introduced himself with a small bow, "And this is Dokuton" he removed his right hand from his lab coat and pointed into the darkness, the moment he did a loud growl was heard and the ground shook as something large approached them. Purple skin came into appearance as a giant shadow loomed over the group, standing before them was a Nidoking but not an ordinary Nidoking. A nidoking usually stands at a height of four feet seven inches, but this one stood at a towering SEVEN feet. The massive pokemon roared loudly as its long tail lashed out through the darkness. On his arms were a pair of needle markings indicating it had been injected with something. The bipedal predator roared loudly as it towered over its trainer. Kagirinai waved a hand through the air, " You will have to excuse him, the growth serum I created and introduced into his system has had negative side effect, it has made him rather aggressive" said the teen talking about genetically altering his own pokemon like it was the weather. His pokemon may not have gained a series boost in power but he had been able to tap into his pokemon's gene pool in order to make the pokemon grow beyond it's normal size. Species: Nidoking Level: 23 Gender: Male

Rika turns around, rubbing her head which was now bright red. "Ouch. Well, I'm Rika. I'm new here. Oh, and this is TenTen" The piplup walks over, looking proud of itself. Although it's nature is quiet, it is very proud. "Why did you call us ere anyways?"

| Like a fever I'll take you down The flaxen haired brawler turned at the sound of a voice, a mysterious shadowy figure approaching the three trainers in the courtyard of the Academy, Yang's eyes scanned the figure as more features became visible as the stranger drew closer and introduced himself, the guy gave off a strange, twisted aura, one that made the brute feel slightly uneasy, a knot forming in the pit of her stomach "Yang, Yang Shirogane of Team Johto." She began to introduce herself, holding the tiny Cyndaquil close to her chest "This is Ragna." She nodded down towards her newborn briefly. Ragna lifted his head at the mention of his name "Cyn cynda? <Yes mumma?>" the fire mouse tilted his head slightly before looking around, blinking at the unfamiliar faces around him, his trainer shook her head softly with a cheerful smile. It was then that the lab coat wearing trainer introduced one of his Pokemon and the ground began to shake as a large purple Pokemon moved out from the darkness of the shadows and roared, it's large tail lashing about, the large Nidoking towered over the 5 foot 8 inch tall blonde, Yang having to tilt her head somewhat just to set her lilac gaze on the Pokemon's face, the shaking startled the tiny fire mouse and caused him to bury himself against the brute's frame, where he felt protected and safe though his body began trembling in fright, the Cyndaquil was far too small to match up to the fully evolved creature. The golden haired teen gently rubbed the fire-type's back in a comforting manner "Ssshhh... easy Rags, it's okay.." She cooed softly in the most calming manner she could muster. Ragna slowly but surely ceased his shaking and began to relax, lifting his head to look up at the brawler, nuzzling his head under her chin gently causing the trainer to release a soft giggle, she wasn't sure what this was all about but perhaps things were going to get interesting. Makussu would blink a bit at the comment of the girl being unable to see. Sure, it was a bit dark in the areas outside of the lamp posts but was it that dark? Of course, he couldn't really say anything seeing as his eyes were still adapted to low light despite all the restrictions that had unknowingly been put upon him many moons ago, he just thought that everyone could see as good as he could. He would also briefly note the other girl who was currently in the area before suddenly his attention was drawn to an odd scientist of some sort. More specifically, the giant lizard that was with him.
As soon as he had seen the new arrival he found him to be a bit unique, at least a bit more than your average pokemon trainer. What with the odd scar and way of dress he sort of presented himself as some sort of badass samurai that also happened to work part-time at the labs. The way he introduced himself was rather professional, something that he would envy if not for the way that he had delivered it without any emotion at all. As soon as he felt the ground tremble beneath him his right hand twitched and suddenly was at his left hip before he suddenly realized that no, his sword was not there and yes, he had almost released Minnesota in his haste. That certainly would have been bad, he was quite sure the little glacier would not enjoy being swung around as a weapon. His hand would drift ever so slowly away from the pokeball and back to hanging limply at it's side were it rested tensely as Makussu took the explanation horribly, choosing to keep his mouth shut in exchange for finding out what the heck was going on here. As for Emia, she merely shifted her eyes towards the abnormally tall Nidoking, finding the overgrown lizard to be much more interesting than her other subject.

A loud roar echoed from the skies, a roar so fierce, so loud, so powerful it dwarfed that of the Nidokings. In the darkness a large shadow engulfed them all as it descended down from the skies. The shadow swooped down crashing into the ground with a loud thud landing only feet away from the four trainers. The massive shadow approached becoming illuminated by a nearby light. It's long tapering tail lashed out through the air with a loud crack like the sound of a whip. Its two massive wings with a single flap created strong gale winds with enough force that could nearly send those in its wake to the ground. The beast slammed one of its massive legs into the ground it's three claws digging into the earth. The Salamence, the dragon pokemon, roared at the group as a figure jumped off from its back. The figure was a person who stood at a height of six foot four with long silk onyx black hair that flowed down his back. He was wearing black hakama pants, with a long sleeved kimono like top. Around his waist a white obi sash with matching tabi socks. On his feet he wore straw rope waraji. Hanging loosely from his shoulders a long black Haori. He had his hands slipped into the sleeves of his kimono as he approached the group. He had no expression on his face what so ever. The way he dressed, the way he walked and the way he looked though it seemed as if he was some nobleman from another time. He stood straight and he radiated an aura of strength especially with his Salamence beside him. Yami looked over the three new students, sparing a single glance at Kagirinai and his Nidoking, " You should not be so quick to assume he was the only one who had a hand in gathering you here. Of course I suspected more of a turn out, it seems not everyone got the memo or felt like following it" his tone was soft, angelic even it seemed to flow as smoothly as silk. Yami reached out with one hand placing it atop his Salamence's head and gently patted the pokemon, " Hateshiginai, Yamijin of Hoenn and this is my Salamence Seiryuu" introduced the dragon trainer before giving a polite bow, his Salamence doing the same by bowing his head. Rika, being the kind of person she is, decided that saying this would be an excellent idea. "OHMYGOSH! It's a real-life SAMURAI!" She circles him for a while, then stops and sits on the ground. She was getting kinda bored trying to figure out why she was here... The water type pokemon sits on Rika's head. There were too many huge pokemon for her anyways.
