Cyrus comes off as the type to quiet a crowd upon arrival. A polite young man to all and respectful to a fault. He has no room for acting rude or out of his place when around others, being raised in a wealthy family he shows no superiority for being so. Normally Cyrus is a relaxed individual that takes everything at his own pace and dislikes being rushed through his process. The boy has a habit of taking naps where-ever he may be, this often leads him to question where he is upon awakening and others to question if he is alright or not. He carries himself with a carefree smile throughout the day misleading others into thinking he is a pleasant person, however he is only polite. He simply relays anything that would normally come across as condescending in an instructional criticism type of way. Though it is a fact that this works only some of the time and not all the time. Any arrogance or elitism will only be clearly seen through confrontation in the stage of pokemon. Where his repressed nature surfaces to show how power driven he is as a trainer. Using a style purely strategy based aimed at covering any weaknesses on his team, a relaxed and patient method.
Besides his strong competitive nature as a trainer, Cyrus is still an intelligent and tactful businessman. Thus he has no qualms about using underhanded tricks and underground connections to get his desired results. Though he draws the line when he believes his pokemon themselves are put in harms way, showing that he has some care for his pokemon unlike most with his general mindset. He has the pride of his family at the forefront of his mind, which guides and basically determines most of the decisions he makes. Any who disrespect his family are sure to regret it as he will either shame them through battle or in life with legal or illegal means.

Raised by his instructors and caretakers alongside his older siblings, Cyrus rarely spent time with his actual parents who invested all but a slim amount of their time within the family company. Gryph Co., a large corporation that tailors to the lives of man by increasing the level of convenience through technological advancements. However, his father had to change policies as other companies were gaining more attention through their focus in pokemon oriented consumers. Being too old to change his style and make way in the pokemon world he left this to his children as a test of sorts to prove themselves worthy of leading the company in the future.
So one by one, Cyrus watched as his brothers and sisters left on journeys to different regions to establish their own branch of Gryph Co. in said regions to set a foothold in the pokemon field. Not long after his education took a turn from studying business tactics and management to battle strategies and pokemon knowledge. He was being groomed to be an elite trainer with all the knowledge thrown his way. Apparently none of his siblings had taken up the trainer profession and had left a gap that his father believed he should fill. Cyrus was indifferent to the change in study material but his father had actually started paying a shred of attention towards him, and if becoming a strong trainer was all it took he would excel in the task just for that alone.
