Faith was not surprised that Sawyer was using the same tactic as before. Her Bidoof could take it. "Use Aqua Tail as soon as you can!" She wanted to make sure the two Pokemon remained close enough for the attack to succeed.
Willy slammed into the Skiddo, falling backwards from the force of the attacks. This was no time to rest, though. He leapt to his feet ans spun around. Sawyer saw the Aqua Tail when it was too late. "Use Vine Whip to get him away from you!" she called. She could not think of anything else at the moment. Both Pokemon were tiring quickly, and this battle would soon be over. She held her breath as she waited to see what would happen.
Prancer shook his head after hitting it against Willy's. That was kind of fun. He loved running, and now his head was really clear! he did not expect the tail that suddenly attacked him. In responsed, he whipped out his vines to push the Bidoof away and damage him. Faith grew excited as she could see the end of the battle in sight. Just a little bit longer... She was glad that Aqua Tail worked so well. It did not seem like the Skiddo had much energy left. Maybe one more attack would do that. "Hang in there, Willy. Tackle!"
Willy smirked when his tail hit the Skiddo. This was good. The vines whipped him back, but he was able to gain his ground. is eyes narrowed at the grass type. This was it! He raced forward as fast as his small legs would carry him, his head lowered for a Tackle. Prancer sucked in his vines and prepared to run. However, he was too tired to move very fast, and he was hit with the Bidoof's Tackle. He collapsed on the ground, not to get up again.
Sawyer stared in shock when she saw her Pokemon had fainted. Then she smiled sadly as she pulled out his Pokeball. "Thanks for trying, Prancer." She returned him and then looked at Faith. "Good job." She turned to leave the battlefield. There was nothing left for her here. Level: 10 Attacks: Tackle, Growth, Vine Whip, Tail Whip Abilities: Sap Sipper, Grass Pelt Hit By: Tackle Used: Health: --- |

Sash watched the battle silently from the sidelines. It was quite an interesting one. Both trainers were skilled. When it was over, she returned to the middle of the battlefield with her microphone in hand. "Prancer is unable to battle. Willy is the winner, and victory goes to Faith from Hoenn! She will join Gary in the final round." The final stage was set, and she could not wait to see who came out on top! Bidoof has gained three levels. He now knows Rollout!
Skiddo has gained one level. |

Willy smiled in relief when the Skiddo finally fainted. He had done it! He turned and ran back to his trainer. "Great job, Willy," Faith said as she rubbed his head. That had been a fun battle. She smiled at Sawyer and nodded. "Thanks." Now she would be up against her friend Gary. It was going to be a a tough battle, but she was determined to win! |
