Rika entered the house by slamming the doors open. She was hyped to try this scavenger hunt she'd heard about. She hoped there'd be prizes. She liked prizes. Winning stuff was awesome!
Anala, TenTen and Senrai were the three pokemon following Rika into the house. All three were jealous of the Pumpkaboo who'd stayed behind. It claimed that 'it would be cheating if I went'. Anala, although she loved pranks, was hesitant to follow her trainer. TenTen would follow Rika anywhere, so it was ready. Senrai still wasn't sure what it thought about the group, but came along to work on bonding.

A figured dressed in black from head to foot stepped forward. He held out a white envelope to Rika. Then he returned to the darkness. Riddle:

She runs towards the exit and stops. Isn't this scavenger hunt supposed to be IN the haunted house?
Rika wanders around the house alongside her pokemon, trying to find the kitchens.

A Pokemon was waiting for Rika inside the kitchen. It was a Rotom, and when he heard the girl coming, he sipped inside of a microwave and brought it to life. He then flew right into the face of Rika, laughing maniacally. He opened the door of the microwave to reveal an envelope with another riddle in it.  Level: 20 Riddle:What do you call a witch's garage? Go where you would find it. |

Rika screams, then laughs as the pokemon flew towards her face. The takes out the envelope and reads it. "Witch's garage huh?" She thinks for a moment, her pokemon all looking uneasy because of the other pokemon.
"AH HA!" yells Rika, giving her pokemon a fright. "The Broom closet!" She was one person who watched way too much Harry Potter. She ran towards where she thinks the broom closet would/should be, her pokemon following not far behind.

When the girl neared the closet, a Haunter emerged from the closet and made a scary face. He laughed maniacally before handing over a white envelope that contained another riddle.  Gender: Male Level: 28 Riddle:My fingers are bare, my arms stretch in the sky. My skin is rough and bumpy, I'm home to those who fly. |

While most of the pokemon looked frightened, Rika and Anala were beginning to enjoy this trip. When Rika opened the envelope, she read the riddle.
"Reach to the sky...home to those that fly....A tree!"
She looks out a window at the trees and moves towards the exit. Were they allowed to leave? She didn't know, but she would soon.

At the tree, a Litwick floated down from the branches. He cackled as he sucked a tiny bit of life force from the student. He sighed in relief. Then he floated to the base of the tree where there lay a bag with a ribbon tied around it. The Litwick took a battle stand. There was a special item inside the bag, and Rika and to defeat the ghost in order to obtain it.

Rika smirked. She wasn't expecting to have a battle, but she was eager to fight anyway. She nodded at her water type pokemon and returned the rest into their pokeballs. The piplup took it's place for the battle. Even though it has a naturally quiet nature, it's begun to change since it met Rika. Becoming more confident.
(And I have an unhatched egg!)
The egg that Rika had in her bag fell out and began to rattle and shake. Rika wasn't paying attention, since she was concentrating on the battle at hand.

The Litwick was glad that the girl was playing along. This was going to be so much fun! The Piplup scared him a little bit, but he was sure he could handle him. <Ok, you're going down!> It looked like he had the first move. He flew forward towards the blue penguin to Astonish him.
Meanwhile, the egg broke away, and a small panda Pokemon appeared. It was a male Pancham.

"All ri-ty then. HIT IT TEN!" TenTen charged at the Litwick as it used astonish, trying to intercept it with peck. One thing that may not have been noticed, however, was that Rika seemed to be practicing for the next contest. She had gotten TenTen to cover itself with feathers as it charged using feather dance. The Litwick watched the dance curiously. Then he was suddenly attacked with the Piplup's beak. He cried out as he fell backwards. Then he glared at the penguin and moved in for his own attack. He let out a thick, black cloud to damage his oppoonent and hopefully poison him.
