Kai was walking around the battle area - he wanted to battle with his partner. He'd only recently met the Houndor so it was only level 5, but he wanted to test it's skills. It was a spirited pokemon and it looked like it knew how to fight, but he wanted to know for sure.
He paced around the arena some more before jumping up onto some stair and yelling at the top of his lungs. "I'M A NEW TRAINER WHO'S LOOKING FOR A FIRST BATTLE! DOES ANYONE WANT TO BATTLE ME?!"
