Kai was lying on his bed, his houndor, Fallon, at his feet. The pokemon was keeping his feet warm so Kai wasn't arguing. But - it was pretty boring at the moment. It looked like his roommate was out and there wasn't anyone else in the dorm. Man, was he bored.
He pulled out his phone and checked his contacts. No-one interesting. He had his sister's number, but she was always annoying when he texted her.
