Yami sighed as he stepped off the bus and into Mauville city. He looked around at the Region that he called his home in shupert city. He was a member of the Hoenn dorm so he felt it only natural he should try and come to the Hoenn Region. He had decided not to bring his entire team with him only selecting three of his pokemon to bring with him. One was currently out of the confines of its pokeball and flying in mid air next to him, his loyal Dragonair Ryuujin. The mystical dragon released a small thrill from his voices causing a small smile from his trainer. Yami raised a hand to gently pat the ground. He had the dragons brother a dratini inside his pokeball that was up the sleeve of his kimono top. The other pokemon he had brought with him was the young gible that had hatched not long ago. He would have to do a little bit of training with the dragon type pokemon later on for now he was focusing on his Dragonair.
He had been rather exciting to come to Hoenn as there was one particular pokemon he was interested in obtaining, a Flygon. If he could get the evolved pokemon or even its pre evolved forms Vibrava or Trapinch he would be mighty happy. In order to ensure he could fight a Flygon if he ran into one he pulled out eight rare candies from his backpack and proceeded to feed them to his Dragonair who ate them up happily. Once the rush of new strength was over Yami took over deciding to leave the city and head out into the surrounding wilds. He was determined to find a dragon pokemon or at least a pokemon of equal strength. If he could find a pokemon that could fight his Dragonair Ryuujin one on one then he could capture the pokemon to add to his collection. Yami may been a fan of dragon type pokemon but that did not mean if the opportunity presented itself he would not catch other types of pokemon, after all he had an Absol in his team that he was quite fond of and would no doubt use against the water battle leader Hunter on his return to Cherilli academy.
Yami breathed in the Hoenn scent as he exited the city heading north up route 111 in the direction of the Desert Ruins. He looked around the great wilderness that presented itself to him and he marched off following down the path towards the wild. He could see all kinds of wild pokemon running about all around him but he ignored them, as long as he ignored them they seemed to ignore him. He was adamant about what he wanted to find so he kept forth walking onwards with his trusty dragonair. He was going to build the strongest team. He would show everyone at Cherilli academy his strength. He would show them, his parents and his grandparents that he was a great trainer.
