Kai smirked. The pokemon was going for this again. While the defense was getting higher, that just meant that his pokemon had to get stronger! "Fallon, Howl!" The houndor roared as loud as it could, raising it's moral and it's attack. It was hit again by the pound attack and began to snarl at the other pokemon. The Buneary was caught off guard by the Ember attack. Of course, he should have known a fire attack would be coming from a fire Pokemon. She shook off the flames and narrowed his eyes at his opponent. He wished he knew more physical attacks. He needed to get stronger! He hopped forward with his ears ready for a pounding. A Chatot flew through the tunnels of the cave. His trainer had the idea that strong trainers would venture in here, so it would be a good place to find recruits. He settled on the floor of an open area as he witnessed a battle between a Houndour and a Buneary. It looked like his trainer was right as usual. he opened his beak to record. Kai had been watching the Buneary's movements ans was beginning to see how it moved. Well, thanks to that he could tell that the opposing pokemon was about to attack. So, he commanded his pokemon to act accordingly. "Fallon, try to dodge this one, OK?" Fallon trusted his trainer - especially in situations like this. So, he dodged to the side to avoid the pound attack. "Great Fallon! Now Dark Pulse again!" He heard his trainer's command, nodded and then launched the attack at the other pokemon - hoping that it's back was still turned. The Buneary was confident that he could win this. he was perhaps a bit too confident, in fact. He was too surprised that the Houndour managed to dodge to be able to think of what to do now. He did not have time to turn around before the Dark Pulse hit him, sending him flying back a couple of feet. Now he was angry! He hopped forward in a furry, his ears pounding back and forth for another Pound attack. This one would hit for sure!
