What if there was an event open to those with water type pokemon, like the Tour of Alto Mare from Pokemon Heroes?
I thought it'd be neat after watching the movie ^^

It is a nice idea, however the one problem is that not everyone has a water type pokemon in order to compete. If instead it was open to use Water Type Pokemon, Flying Type Pokemon or pokemon that can learn surf then there would be more challengers.

That's a neat idea. And if more pokemon varieties were allowed, that'd make the challenge harder too...
