Estel froze when he saw the energy coming towards him. There was no way for him to dodge. The attack sent him flying back. He skidded to a halt near his trainer. He did not get back up.
Nate's eyes widened when he saw that his points were all gone. He had lost despite the Pachirisu's antics? It was a good thing she was powerful. He smiled slightly as he took out his Chikorita's Pokeball. "Good try, Estel. Take a rest now."  Species: Chikorita Type: Grass Name: Estel Gender: Male Level: 5 Attacks: Tackle, Growl Abilities: Overgrow, Leaf Guard Hit By: Bide Used: Health: --- Points: 0 |

Principal Sash found the battle very interesting. The Pachirisu was not listening to her trainer at all. She hoped they could get that figured out. Despite this, they were still able to defeat the Chikorita. "Nate is out of points, so our winner is Faith! We will see her in the next round." She wondered if she would choose a different Pokemon this time. Faith has earned 70 points for her team!
Nutella has gained three levels. She now knows Charm!
Estel has gained one level. He now knows Razor Leaf! |

Faith let out a breath of relief. She had done it. She had won. "Well, thanks for the effort, Nutella." She returned the Pachirisu to her Pokeball. She was going to have a lot of training to do with her. She smiled at Nate. "Good battle." She hoped to have another battle with him when her Pokemon actually listened. She turned and walked backstage to get ready for the final round of the contest. |

Nate nodded at Faith. "Thanks. Good luck in the finals." He was sure she would do great. With a sad smile, he turned and headed backstage. He would watch the rest of the contest before returning home. |
