Wattson knew the Ekans was on her last leg... er... tail. He chuckled as he watched her continue to fight. "I like your Pokemon's spirit. I almost feel bad I have to end this. Electrike, Quick Attack!"
Electrke flinched as needs were sprayed at her. She expected pain, but she seemed not to be poisoned after all. She let out a breath of relief. Now she could take this snake down. She zipped from side to side as she closed the distance between them. Shia did not have much fight left in her. She was pleased to have won the first round, but the second round was too much. She fainted after she was struck by the Quick Attack.
Gary smiled at his Pokemon as he took out a Pokeball. "Good work. You did your job. Now you're up, Spirit!" He tossed a ball in the air, releasing the energetic Deerling. "Start off with Double Kick!"
Spirit paced back and forth on his side of the field. He simply loved running around in battles! The puppy looked intimidating, but he knew he could trot around him. As soon as the command was given, he headed straight for the Elecrrike. Wattson smiled at his Elektrike. "Good work. And not bad for your first time, young man. Let's see what else you've got." He thought the Deerling was a good choice. Now this would get interesting. "Use Shock Wave!"
Electrike smirked when she saw the Ekans had been defeated. Now she had one more Pokemon to fight! Deerling was a grass type, but she thought she could still take him. She endured his Double Kick and then planned for retaliation. Electric shock waves spun out from her body to strike him. Level: 19 Attacks: Shock Wave, Leer, Quick Attack, Howl, Tackle, Thunder Wave, Spark Abilities: Static, Lightning Rod Hit By: Double Kick Used: Shock Wave Health: Low Green Ekans has gained one level. She now knows Acid. |

Gary knew the electric attack would not do much against his grass type. He had the advantage her, and he planned to use it in order to win. "Okay, Spirit, use Feint Attack!" The only downside was that his Pokemon did not know many grass type moves.
Spirit shivered as the electricity passed through his body. It kind of tickled, actually. He smiled and bounded forward. When he got close to his opponent, he got up close and attempted to startle her. Wattson noted the Deerling's speed. This was going to be a tough round. He hoped he could pose a challenge to the young trainer. "Electrike, use Spark!" He wondered how he would take this.
Electrike growled at the grass type. She had to find a way to get to him. His attack surprised her, nearly knocking her off balance. She quickly regained her composure and prepared for another electric attack. Gary knew his little Deerling would be able to handle this round. He had it all worked out. He patientlly allowed his Pokemon to endure the electric move. They would not damage him much anyway. "Spirit, use Growl followed by Leech Seed!"
Spirit ran around and around. Wee! Running was so fun. Unfortunately, his running did not allow him to evade the Spark attack. At least the electricity only tickled He slowed down enough to give the Electrike a menacing growl. Then he spit out a seed that would help him get some of his lost energy back. Wattson nodded to himself. "Good, good. Now, Electrike, use Quick Attack!" He knew he would have to speed up his attacks if he wanted to win this round.
Electrike shook her fur when a seed landed on her. The attack did not hurt very much, but she did not like the feel of it. She narrowed her eyes as she took in her target. Then she zipped forward, planning to strike at the right moment. Gary nodded in satisfaction. That Leech Seed would help them out a lot. Now it was time to make sure they had the lead. "Dodge that and use Tackle!"
Spirit did not stop running. He ran so well that he somehow managed to dodge the oncoming attack. Pleased with himself, he turned and ran straight into the Electrike. This was so fun! Wattson grew excited as the battle continued. He was having a lot of fun. "Electrike, use Shock Wave!" Oh, how he loved electric Pokemon.
Electrike moved back and forth to follow the Deerling, but she still ended up struck by the Tackle. Also, Leech Seed took more energy from her. She growled in. <You're going down!> She released her electricity in all directions. Gary noticed the Electrike weakening. This was a good sign, but it did not mean they could take a break. "Now, Spirit, Double Kick!"
Spirit braced himself for the Shock Wave. Once again, it felt more like a tickle. He was fired up now! He resumed running, circling around his opponent once for good measure. Then he got close and kicked his feet. Wattson feared this battle was coming to an end. Still, he had to fight until it was over. "Use Howl and Quick Attack!"
Electrike fell to the ground with a thud. She struggled to her feet and snarled at the Deerling. This was her last shot to win! She let out a long howl before zipping forward to attack. Gary felt confident he could win this battle now. Not that he ever had any doubt. "Now use one more Tackle!" This had to be it.
Spirit watched the Electrike move quickly. That seemed like fun! Suddenly he was swept off his feet. He got up slowly and shook his head. Time to strike back! He raced towards his opponent as quickly as his legs would carry him. Electrike watched the Deerling run around. Finally, she was struck and fell to the ground.
"Not bad, not bad," Wattson said, returning the Pokemon to her Pokeball. "Let's see how you stand up against by Magneton." He released the dual electric and steel type. "Use Supersonic!"
Magneton floated above the Deerling. He focused his power and then released some odd waves to confuse his opponent. Level: 19 Attacks: Shock Wave, Leer, Quick Attack, Howl, Tackle, Thunder Wave, Spark Abilities: Static, Lightning Rod Hit By: Double Kick Used: Howl, Quick Attack Health: Low Red  Level: 20 Attacks: Supersonic, Shock Wave, Thunder Wave, Sonic Boom, Zap Canon, Electric Terrain, Thunder Shock, Magnet Bomb Abilities: Magnet Pull, Sturdy, Analytic Hit By: Used: Supersonic Health: High Green Deerling has gained three levels! "Good work, Spirit," Gary said with a smile. He knew the little Pokemon could do it. Now they had a new opponent to face. Unfortunately, the electric type started off with a bang. Spirit did not look too good. "Use Double Kick!"
Spirit did a victory skip. He had done it! He settled down as soon as he faced his next opponent. A weird sound entered his ears, and he felt confused. He tried to attack but ended up harming himself. The Magnezone moved in laughter, mimicking his trainer. <You cannot win!> He positioned himself above hos opponent. Then he let loose a powerful electric attack.
