The Snivvy was hit again by the Tackle. As he struggled to get off the ground, he thought about how he was tired of getting pushed around like this. Anything else would be better at this point. <You can use a fire type move if you want. I can handle it.> Then he ran forward for his own Tackle. Stephan was caught off guard by the Snivy's words, causing him to be struck by the Tackle. He soon got the point, however. Now, how to get the point to his trainer? He turned to Nate and flared up his back. He then nodded at the Snivy.
The boy looked at his Pokemon in surprise, but then he got the idea. "Okay, use Overheat!" He watched as his Cyndaquil prepared for his first fire move.  Level: 8 Attacks: Tackle, Leer TM: Overheat Abilities: Blaze, Flash Fire Hit By: Tackle Used: Overheat Health: Low Green |

The Snivy could not believe the little Cyndaquil knew such a powerful attack. He felt like his skin would be singed forever! He struggled back to his feet, knowing he had to give this one last go. He did not have the strength to move much, so he leered at his opponent and then whipped out his vines. Gary smirked. This was going very well. He hoped he did not scare the Snivy away. He had to admit, this battle was kind of fun. "Now use Tackle again!"
Stephan smiled happily. His new fire move was so fun! The Leer caused him to pause, and then suddenly vines were flung at him. He cringed. That was no fun. He shook the thoughts away and focused on the battle. Then he lowered his head and ran at his opponent. The Snivy could not take this last hit. He fell to the ground, unable to get up again. Gender: Male Level: 8 Attacks: Tackle, Leer, Vine Whip Abilities: Overgrow, Contrary Hit By: Tackle Used: Health: --- Cyndaquil has gained two levels. He now knows Ember.
