Gary watched the battle curiously. So, that was how it was going to go, huh? Maybe this battle would be closer than he originally thought. Ok then. "Muddy Water!" He wondered how much more it would take to win. This was going down to the wire.
Skipper did not have much of a chance to dodge the oncomign attack. The tail that struck him was stronger than he imagined. He was breathing heavily as he got on all fours. This battle was not over yet. He used the water that had dripped on the ground to sweep up mud and fling it at his opponent. Willy panted after finishing his attack. He turned just in time to get water in his face. Even though he was a water type himself, this attack was too much for him. He fell over and did not get up again.
'Willy!" Faith cried. She smiled sadly as she took out his Pokeball. "Good try. Thanks for the effort." She returned him and then walked across the field to reach Gary. "Congratulations. That was a good battle." She held out her hand and offered him a small smile. Principal Sash found this to be another great battle. These two students were truly the academy's best. When Willy fainted, she jumped up and exclaime: "Willy is unable to battle! Skipper is the winner, and victory goes to Gary from Kanto! Congratulations to our semester champion!" She smiled as everyone applauded. Another success! Wartortle has gained three levels. He now knows Protect!
Bibarel has gained one level. He now knows Hyper Fang! |

Skipper turned and grinned at his trainer. Gary smiled right back at him. "We won!" It felt good to be on top again. He embraced the Wartortle once he reached him. They had won the water battle. He glanced at Faith and nodded, shaking her hand. "Thanks. That was fun." He grinned ashe listened to the applause. Success! |
