Kiki and her Chikorita Alice has spent many hours scouring the forest for herbs and berries. The herbs could be used for creating healing medicine, so the girl put them aside. For the berries, though, she had something more immediate in mind. Being from Hoenn, Kiki had been taught from an early age how to make pokeblock. Her mother had taught her everything she needed to know about how to make the tasty Pokemon treats. They could be used to help Pokemon grow in a variety of ways. She loved her Pokemon, and she thought they deserved a nice treat. She had already developed a recipe that her parents' Pokemon had enjoyed. She hoped her own would like it as well. If not, it would be off to the drawing board. She would work at it until she got it right.
Kiki stirred a brown liquid that sat in a pot on the stove. It did not look that appetizing yet, but it smelled very sweet. Alice stood on the counter near the stove. There was a smile on her face as she leaned in to watch and smell the cooking food. Kiki smiled at her. "Smells good, huh? It'll be ready soon. I hope you all like it." She enjoyed cooking; it relaxed her and made her feel at peace. As she continued to cook, her mind drifted to thoughts of the building she was in. She wondered who else was a part of Team Johto and when she would meet them. She would be happy to share her pokeblock with any hungry Pokemon who came her way. There was sure to be plenty.

After recently leaving the principal's office where he had met his partner cyndaquil, who he had nicknamed Blint, Shun had decided to go take a look at his dorm. So hopping on his new bike he rode through the academy towards where he believed the dorms were located. If he so happened to get lost, then oh well, he could easily ask another student for directions or perhaps an instructor if he saw one. His pal Blint was currently in his backpack taking a snooze, because of that Shun pedaled at a slow steady pace as to not wake him. This made for a relaxing ride as well as turning the ride to the dorms more like a tour of the campus. He really had no clue where he was going but didn't really care. He enjoyed the ride, although it was kind of windy. The campus was large, the architecture of it's buildings were nice and the overall scenery made him feel glad that he had decided to come here.
Finally, Shun had rolled up on a building that was one of the residence halls with a sign that read, Team Kalos. Which was good. Well, he didn't belong to team Kalos but this meant that the other residence halls weren't that far away. All he needed to do was find the one for team Johto. As he rode down the street from the Kalos dorms, he passed the others one after another until he found his dorm. Here we are. It took a while but I finally got here. Eager to see what his room was like he rode through the gate and stopped once he got near the actual building. At that point he got off his bike and continued to walk while pushing it alongside him. From the outside the dorm looked cool, and showcased a little of that johto traditional style. Soon he noticed the stairs that led up to his room, he knew his room was upstairs thanks to the slip of paper in his pocket that had his room number and floor on it. Huh? Suddenly, his bacpack had started to rustle, and in a matter of seconds popped out Blint's head. Oh, hehe. So how was your nap? The little cyndaquil rubbed it's eyes with one of his paws before releasing a good yawn. Cyyndaaa That alone couldn't mean anything but he had a great nap. It was easy to tell because Shun could remember doing the same exact thing. Good, oh yea we're here Blint. Motioning towards the building right before them. To get a better look, the fire mouse climbed on top his head. Shun would then continue to walk towards the stairs, while he did he took notice of a deliciously sweet scent in the air. Suddenly, taken by the scent, Blint launched himself off Shun's head almost making him trip over and ran into an open door on the side of the building. After gaining his balance Shun only smiled. Well, he hasn't eaten lately. ~stomach noises~ Ohhh, I haven't eaten yet either.
Inside the kitchen, Blint had just ran inside and was now searching at full speed for the delicious food he knew was here. There was no way his snout could be fooled. However, unbeknownst to the little fire pokemon, the help of the dorm had recently cleaned and waxed the for to make it super clean. And going at the speed he was going was only asking for the obvious to happen. Soon, Blint had tried to execute a sharp turn around the counter, which didn't go as planned. CYNDAAAQUIL! BAM! Yep, after losing control of himself and sliding he ran into the wall head first. This left him dazed for a bit as he lay on the kitchen floor rubbing his head.

Alice heard the Cyndaquil enter the kitchen first. She turned her head curiously at the sound of running feet. She was about to call out of him in greeting when he smashed into the wall. She let out a small gasp in concern. With a great leap, she landed on the floor and ran over to him. <Are you alright?> she said. <It looked like that hurt.> She looked up at her trainer worriedly, wondering if she had anything to help him. Maybe she still had some herbs around. Then again, where was the Cyndaquil's trainer? He or she had to be nearby.
Kiki did not notice the Cyndaquil until she heard a loud sound. She was startled and jumped a little, her spoon falling out of her hand. She followed Alice's movements to the source of the noise, and she saw the Cyndaquil. She wondered if he had entered the kitchen because of the smell of the food. He had certainly seemed excited enough. She wanted to look over the Pokemon to make sure he was not hurt, but she could not let her food burn. Fortunately, it was almost finished. She poured the mixture into the the tray with the block forms and then set them to cool. "Are you ok, little guy?" she asked the Cyndaquil as she took a step towards him. no doubt he was a Pokemon of a Johto student. She looked back towards the entrance of the kitchen to see if his trainer was near.

<Ooowww that really hurt.> Blint mumbled as he rubbed his head. The pain was giving him a bit of a headache. Well he was sure he'd never run in the kitchen again. As he held his head he began to stand upright, as he did he heard an unfamiliar voice. <Ugh. Huh?> Turning to look in the voices' direction, he got a view of a chikorita. Despite the fact that his eyes looked like they were closed. Many people and other pokemon thought they were for some odd reason. <Ah, yeah I'm okay. I think haha.> He tried to laugh off the pain, he didn't want to look weak or anything.<Yea- I-I mean no, not really.> He had to look tough. He had to...but the pain. Then Blint heard foot steps. Maybe it was his partner Shun. Looking up he saw a completely different person it was a girl. Blint would nod to answer her question, but that only made his head feel worse as he clutched it again. <Ow>
At that moment Shun walked through the door. Hey Blint, where'd you go? Scanning the room he immediately saw Blint, and the girl with him along with the chikorita that was most likely her pokemon. Walking over to the group he had a slight look of worry on his face. Oh, I'm sorry did he cause you some type of trouble? I'm really sorry if he did, but you see we haven't eaten yet and once he smelt the scent of food he went wild. Shun was being sincere in his words, he really hoped Blint didn't do anything too bad.

Alice frowned as she watched the Cyndaquil. She could tell he was trying to act tough, but she did not buy it. She hated to see other Pokemon hurt. She hoped one of their trainers would be able to do something about it. Kiki was still learning about healing, but she could already treat basic injuries. <You don't look okay to me.> He probably had not sustained any serious injury, but he appeared to be in pain. From the way he clutched his head, maybe he had a headache.
Kiki shook her head at Shun. "No, he didn't cause any trouble. He only startled us. The Pokeblock I'm making is fine." And it was almost done. She would be happy to share some with the Cyndaquil once it was finished. It would probably make him feel better. She glanced at the fire Pokemon with a small frown. "It looks like he'll be alright, but I can give him something for the pain." She walked over to where she had placed her backpack. Luckily, she had some emergency herbs stored in a baggie. She pulled out a long leaf and held it out to the Cyndaquil. "Eat this. It will make you feel better." She hoped his trainer would not mind the action. She knew everyone did not approve of her methods.

So thats what the smell was, she had been cooking pokeblocks. The room smelt delicious. Shun felt relieved that Blint didn't do anything wrong but still, he didn't seem okay. Noticing the bruise on his head, Shun figured he must've hurt himself in some form or fashion. Ah, dude see you shouldn't just run off outta control like that. He said as he rubbed the green fur of Blint's back, which wax possible now due to his flames being with held. It made Shun feel guilty. He and Blint were partners, they looked out for each other and Shun had failed to do so this time. He had to do better from this point on. Hearing Kiki say that she might have something for Blint surprised him but not much. After all she was a trainer too, she must've been prepared incase her pokemon ever got hurt. Are you sure it'll help him? He asked as she walked to her backpack and returned with a leaf in her hand for Blint. Blint had let go of his head as holding it wasn't going to anything. What was he? A psyduck, heck no. He decided he'd just stop complaining and tough it out. Hopefully that would make everyone stop worrying about him. <Hm? Whats that?> The fire mouse said, looking back to Shun for an explanation about the leaf. It'll make you feel better, so go on. Hearing his partner say that assured him of the item, but he was really hungry for some real food and here they give him a single green leaf to eat. Oh well, he'd take it. Moving closer the fire mouse began biting off pieces of the leaf. The more he ate the better he began to feel before soon enough he felt fine and full of joy. So much so that he danced around a bit. Immediately after seeing the effects of the herb she gave Blint, Shun smiled and looked towards the girl. Haha. Thank you very much for helping Blint. I'm Shun by the way. Um what is your name, if you don't mind me asking?

Kiki glanced at the boy when he questioned her. "Yes. I'm training to become a Pokemon healer," she explained. Of course, she was still testing many of her natural medicines. For something simple like this, though, she knew it would work. Besides, plants did not have any terrible lasting side effects like typical medicine often did. She smiled when the Cyndaquil ate the leaf. He sure looked better now. She knew that would do the trick. "I'm glad you're feeling well." She chuckled a bit at his dancing. Then she stood up and turned to face Shun. "You're welcome. I"m Kiki. My Chikorita's name is Alice. It's nice to meet you." She held out her hand for him to shake.
Alice smiled, relieved that the Cynaquil was feeling good now. She remembered the pokeblock, and she could not wait until it was finished. <Hi,> she said Blint. <You're hungry?>

Really? A pokemon healer. Well, I see you doing great in that field. It was very interesting. He hadn't met a trainer until now with that kind of goal. Standing up as well, he met her hand with his own to shake. Its nice to meet you both as well. The little guy here you helped is Blint. Together we plan on becoming the strongest on campus. It was a short goal to get them started in comparison to taking any league challenges after he graduated. He often wondered how strong the other students were. Well anywho, he was happy to make a new friend. Below the two trainers, Blint continued to dance as Alice asked him if he were hungry. Which caused him to freeze in place and be reminded of how empty his stomach was. As the grumbling of his stomach started he hung his head in depression. <Uh, yes I'm very hungry.>

Alice chuckled when Blint admitted that he was hungry. <It's okay,> she said in slight amusement. <I'm hungry too. MY trainer is making some Pokeblock. I'm sure she'll let you have some.> She looked up at the counter where the food currently rested. She wondered when it would be done. The smell of it was making her mouth water.
Kiki smiled at Shun's compliment. "Thank you." She nodded as she heard about his own aspirations. "That's a good goal." It was great that she had a teammate working hard to get to the top. If she put in a good amount of effort, perhaps Johto could become the champions of the school. Her eyes traveled to the Pokeblock as well. "This is almost done, if you would like to stay around." The food would probably make the Cyndaquil feel even more better. The girl was always happy to share.
