Mr. Knight whistled as he stepped into the classroom with Frost on his heels. He had one student in this class, but at least he knew the kid. Zane Lathurna he believed his name was. He hoped he was ready to learn to be a great coordinator. The teacher sat at his desk and reflected on his day so far.

Zane and Tessie jogged down the hallway. They were running late to class, so they were having a race to the classroom. The boy got their first. The Pichu hopped onto his leg so she could catch a ride inside. Zane smiled at the teacher and then took a seat up front. He was ready!

Mr. Knight smiled at Zane when he entered the room. Good. Now they could start class. He cleared his throat when it was time to start. "Good morning, Zane. It will just be us today. Could you introduce your Pokemon and tell me if you have had any contest experience since Contest Training Level I?"

Zane was surprised that he was the only student in the class. That was no good. Now he actually had to pay attention! He held in a sigh as he thought about how to respond to Mr. Knight. "This is Tessie. I have been in one contest but did not make it past the appeals round." Suffice to say, he was not very good at contests, but that was why he was there, right?

Mr. Knight sensed the student's surprise. He supposed it was to be expected. He vowed to make this class experience as comfortable for him as possible. "That's alright. We all advance at our own pace. Let's start with the basics then." He immediately started discussing the mechanics of contests. Finally, he dismissed the class. OOC: This class is now finished.
