@tagged words: 108 | Ten sighed, hitching her rucksack higher onto her shoulders as she wandered the school. A new school, a new start. She wasn't certain about the school, she'd been fairly iffy about applying, but now she was here and she had to make the best of it.
She straightened her lime-green shirt, fussing with the jacket that sat over it, hesitating before entering the Headmasters' Office. Today was the first day of the rest of her life.
Ten knocked smartly on the door before opening it and stepping in. "Excuse me? My name is Sebastene, I'm the new student. I was told to come here to get my starter?"

Principal Sash was busy with paperwork for the new semester. She loved many of her duties, but this was not one of them. She was grateful for the break the knock on the door offered. "Come in!" she called. Maya the Vulpix padded over to the student to inspect her. So far, she sensed no threat.
Sash smiled upon hearing the reason for the student's entrance. This was a duty she enjoyed. "Excellent. Welcome to Cherilli Academy. I just need you to fill this out." She handed the girl a pen and a copy of the personality quiz she would use to choose three Pokemon to offer her. |

| Ten smiled at the principal, and offered her a greeting. She reached down and scritched under the Vulpix's chin, enjoying the heat her warm fur emitted. The young trainer thanked the principal as she accepted the quiz.

Principal Sash accepted the test back and quickly reviewed it. Nodding, she turned around and started walking. She set the paper on her desk on the way to the cabinets in the back. She soon returned with three Pokeballs. "You may choose from one of these three." She released them so the student could get a good look. Maya sat near the girl and curiusly watched the Pokemon that appeared. |

-- | Ten rested her hands in the pockets of her jacket as she waited for the Principal to read her quiz, rocking uneasily on her heels. The warmth she could feel from the nearby Vulpix wasn't unwelcome, and she fiddled at the zip of her jacket.
She looked up at the Principal as she stood suddenly, watching her retrieve three Poke Balls. She found herself leaning forward in anticipation as the red lights shot out form the Poke Ball, forming a finned blue critter, a red and gray feathered bird, and a brown and green goat.
“I think I choose...” she glanced over them once more. “Fletchling.” Ten crouched down in front of the proffered bird, and offered it her hand. |

Principal Sash nodded. "Alright." While she returned the other two Pokemon to their Pokeballs, the Fletchling looked at the student curiously before hopping close to her. Sash returned the Pokeballs to the storage closet. Then she grabbed a backpack and headed back to the girl. "This has everything you will need. I hope you do well at the academy!"
