@tagged words: | Ten grimaced, hiking her rucksack higher up on her shoulders. It had been a long trek, and she could only hope it was worth it. The brochures about the school talked about Lava Cave, lauding it as a place to catch good Fire-types. Although Tynder was a good Pokemon, strong and loyal from what she'd seen, she'd need more Pokemon if she ever wanted to succeed.
The little bird flew down to perch on her shoulder as they entered the cave, ruffling his feathers and enjoying the heat. In contrast, Sebastene grimaced, unzipping her jacket and tying it about her waist. “Tell me if you see anything, alright Tynder?” she murmured, beginning to search the cave for Pokemon.

A light emerged from down tunnel. As the trainer got closer, the light became brighter. Finally, a Litwick appeared in the darkness. She had been enjoying some alone time, and now that was ruined. Then again, she could always take advantage of the situation. She stared at the trainer, unmoving.  Gender: Female Level: 8 |

Tynder perched on Ten's shoulder, talons digging into her shirt. He tilted with her stride to keep from being thrown off. As they walked, Ten scratched at his head, peering into the darkness. The Fletchling spotted the light first, and chirped quietly to alert his master.
Hearing the bird-Pokemon tweet, Ten looked up. "See something, Tynder?" Straining her eyes, she couldn't see anything, so she kept walking.
Soon, they were close enough that Ten could see the light as well, and began to walk towards it, eying the light warily. Finally, she could see a small, candle-like Pokemon, and grinned. A Litwick! That was perfect!
"Tynder!" Ten ordered, "Use Tackle!"
The little bird chirped, and hopped off her shoulder, barreling towards the wild Litwick.

The Litwick was surprised by the assault. She had simply been minding her own business. Oh well. She supposed she could use a good battle. She took a deep breath and put on her battle face. Then, after crying out, she fired a storm of embers at the bird Pokemon.
